2 CHRONICLES 7 1 Now when Solomon had made an end of praying, the FIRE came down from heaven, and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the LORD filled the house. 3 And when all the children of Israel saw how the FIRE came down, and the glory of the LORD upon the house, they bowed themselves with their faces to the ground upon the pavement, and worshipped, and praised the LORD, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever. 2 CHRONICLES 18 5 Therefore the king of Israel gathered together of prophets four hundred men, and said unto them, Shall we go to Ramothgilead to battle, or shall I FORBEAR? NEHEMIAH 2 3 And said unto the king, Let the king live for ever: why should not my countenance be sad, when the city, the place of my fathers' sepulchres, lieth waste, and the gates thereof are consumed with FIRE? 13 And I went out by night by the gate of the valley, even before the dragon well, and to the dung port, and viewed the walls of Jerusalem, which were broken down, and the gates thereof were consumed with FIRE. 17 Then said I unto them, Ye see the distress that we are in, how Jerusalem lieth waste, and the gates thereof are burned with FIRE: come, and let us build up the wall of Jerusalem, that we be no more a reproach. NEHEMIAH 9 12 Moreover thou leddest them in the day by a cloudy pillar; and in the night by a pillar of FIRE, to give them light in the way wherein they should go. 19 Yet thou in thy manifold mercies forsookest them not in the wilderness: the pillar of the cloud departed not from them by day, to lead them in the way; neither the pillar of FIRE by night, to shew them light, and the way wherein they should go. 30 Yet many years didst thou FORBEAR them, and testifiedst against them by thy spirit in thy prophets: yet would they not give ear: therefore gavest thou them into the hand of the people of the lands. JOB 1 16 While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, The FIRE of God is fallen from heaven, and hath burned up the sheep, and the servants, and consumed them; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee. PSALM 29 7 The voice of the LORD divideth the flames of FIRE. 9 The voice of the LORD maketh the hinds to calve, and discovereth the FORESTS: and in his temple doth every one speak of his glory. PSALM 39 3 My heart was hot within me, while I was musing the FIRE burned: then spake I with my tongue, PSALM 46 9 He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the FIRE.
