JOSHUA 11 4 And they went out, they and all their hosts with them, much people, even AS the sand that is upon the sea shore in multitude, with horses and chariots very many. 9 And Joshua did unto them AS the LORD bade him: he houghed their horses, and burnt their chariots with fire. 12 And all the cities of those kings, and all the kings of them, did Joshua take, and smote them with the edge of the sword, and he utterly destroyed them, AS Moses the servant of the LORD commanded. 13 But AS for the cities that stood still in their strength, Israel burned none of them, save Hazor only; that did Joshua burn. 15 AS the LORD commanded Moses his servant, so did Moses command Joshua, and so did Joshua; he left nothing undone of all that the LORD commanded Moses. 20 For it was of the LORD to harden their hearts, that they should come against Israel in battle, that he might destroy them utterly, and that they might have no favour, but that he might destroy them, AS the LORD commanded Moses. JOSHUA 13 6 All the inhabitants of the hill country from Lebanon unto Misrephothmaim, and all the Sidonians, them will I drive out from before the children of Israel: only divide thou it by lot unto the Israelites for an inheritance, AS I have commanded thee. 8 With whom the Reubenites and the Gadites have received their inheritance, which Moses gave them, beyond Jordan eastward, even AS Moses the servant of the LORD gave them; 14 Only unto the tribes of Levi he gave none inheritance; the sacrifices of the LORD God of Israel made by fire are their inheritance, AS he said unto them. 33 But unto the tribe of Levi Moses gave not any inheritance: the LORD God of Israel was their inheritance, AS he said unto them. JOSHUA 15 18 And it came to pass, AS she came unto him, that she moved him to ask of her father a field: and she lighted off her ass; and Caleb said unto her, What wouldest thou? 63 AS for the Jebusites the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the children of Judah could not drive them out; but the Jebusites dwell with the children of Judah at Jerusalem unto this day. JOSHUA 17 14 And the children of Joseph spake unto Joshua, saying, Why hast thou given me but one lot and one portion to inherit, seeing I am a great people, forasmuch AS the LORD hath blessed me hitherto? JOSHUA 18 8 And the men AROSE, and went away: and Joshua charged them that went to describe the land, saying, Go and walk through the land, and describe it, and come again to me, that I may here cast lots for you before the LORD in Shiloh. JOSHUA 21 8 And the children of Israel gave by lot unto the Levites these cities with their suburbs, AS the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses. JOSHUA 23 5 And the LORD your God, he shall expel them from before you, and drive them from out of your sight; and ye shall possess their land, AS the LORD your God hath promised unto you. 8 But cleave unto the LORD your God, AS ye have done unto this day. 9 For the LORD hath driven out from before you great nations and strong: but AS for you, no man hath been able to stand before you unto this day. 10 One man of you shall chase a thousand: for the LORD your God, he it is that fighteth for you, AS he hath promised you. 15 Therefore it shall come to pass, that AS all good things are come upon you, which the LORD your God promised you; so shall the LORD bring upon you all evil things, until he have destroyed you from off this good land which the LORD your God hath given you. JOSHUA 24 9 Then Balak the son of Zippor, king of Moab, AROSE and warred against Israel, and sent and called Balaam the son of Beor to curse you: 15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but AS for me and my house, we will serve the LORD. JUDGES 1 7 And Adonibezek said, Threescore and ten kings, having their thumbs and their great toes cut off, gathered their meat under my table: AS I have done, so God hath requited me. JUDGES 2 3 Wherefore I also said, I will not drive them out from before you; but they shall be AS thorns in your sides, and their gods shall be a snare unto you. 10 And also all that generation were gathered unto their fathers: and there AROSE another generation after them, which knew not the LORD, nor yet the works which he had done for Israel. 15 Whithersoever they went out, the hand of the LORD was against them for evil, AS the LORD had said, and AS the LORD had sworn unto them: and they were greatly distressed. 22 That through them I may prove Israel, whether they will keep the way of the LORD to walk therein, AS their fathers did keep it, or not. JUDGES 3 1 Now these are the nations which the LORD left, to prove Israel by them, even AS many of Israel AS had not known all the wars of Canaan; 2 Only that the generations of the children of Israel might know, to teach them war, at the least such AS before knew nothing thereof; 20 And Ehud came unto him; and he was sitting in a summer parlour, which he had for himself alone. And Ehud said, I have a message from God unto thee. And he AROSE out of his seat. JUDGES 4 9 And she said, I will surely go with thee: notwithstanding the journey that thou takest shall not be for thine honour; for the LORD shall sell Sisera into the hand of a woman. And Deborah AROSE, and went with Barak to Kedesh. 22 And, behold, AS Barak pursued Sisera, Jael came out to meet him, and said unto him, Come, and I will shew thee the man whom thou seekest. And when he came into her tent, behold, Sisera lay dead, and the nail was in his temples. JUDGES 5 7 The inhabitants of the villages ceased, they ceased in Israel, until that I Deborah AROSE, that I AROSE a mother in Israel. 31 So let all thine enemies perish, O LORD: but let them that love him be AS the sun when he goeth forth in his might. And the land had rest forty years. JUDGES 6 5 For they came up with their cattle and their tents, and they came AS grasshoppers for multitude; for both they and their camels were without number: and they entered into the land to destroy it. 16 And the LORD said unto him, Surely I will be with thee, and thou shalt smite the Midianites AS one man. 27 Then Gideon took ten men of his servants, and did AS the LORD had said unto him: and so it was, because he feared his father's household, and the men of the city, that he could not do it by day, that he did it by night. 28 And when the men of the city AROSE early in the morning, behold, the altar of Baal was cast down, and the grove was cut down that was by it, and the second bullock was offered upon the altar that was built. 36 And Gideon said unto God, If thou wilt save Israel by mine hand, AS thou hast said, 37 Behold, I will put a fleece of wool in the floor; and if the dew be on the fleece only, and it be dry upon all the earth beside, then shall I know that thou wilt save Israel by mine hand, AS thou hast said. JUDGES 7 5 So he brought down the people unto the water: and the LORD said unto Gideon, Every one that lappeth of the water with his tongue, AS a dog lappeth, him shalt thou set by himself; likewise every one that boweth down upon his knees to drink. 12 And the Midianites and the Amalekites and all the children of the east lay along in the valley like grasshoppers for multitude; and their camels were without number, AS the sand by the sea side for multitude. 17 And he said unto them, Look on me, and do likewise: and, behold, when I come to the outside of the camp, it shall be that, AS I do, so shall ye do. --MORE-- |
