EZRA 6 18 And they set the priests in their divisions, and the Levites in their courses, for the service of God, which is at Jerusalem; AS it is written in the book of Moses. 21 And the children of Israel, which were come again out of captivity, and all such AS had separated themselves unto them from the filthiness of the heathen of the land, to seek the LORD God of Israel, did eat, EZRA 7 14 Forasmuch AS thou art sent of the king, and of his seven counsellors, to enquire concerning Judah and Jerusalem, according to the law of thy God which is in thine hand; 25 And thou, Ezra, after the wisdom of thy God, that is in thine hand, set magistrates and judges, which may judge all the people that are beyond the river, all such AS know the laws of thy God; and teach ye them that know them not. 27 Blessed be the LORD God of our fathers, which hath put such a thing AS this in the king's heart, to beautify the house of the LORD which is in Jerusalem: 28 And hath extended mercy unto me before the king, and his counsellors, and before all the king's mighty princes. And I was strengthened AS the hand of the LORD my God was upon me, and I gathered together out of Israel chief men to go up with me. EZRA 8 27 Also twenty basons of gold, of a thousand drams; and two vessels of fine copper, precious AS gold. 31 Then we departed from the river of Ahava on the twelfth day of the first month, to go unto Jerusalem: and the hand of our God was upon us, and he delivered us from the hand of the enemy, and of such AS lay in wait by the way. EZRA 9 5 And at the evening sacrifice I AROSE up from my heaviness; and having rent my garment and my mantle, I fell upon my knees, and spread out my hands unto the LORD my God, 7 Since the days of our fathers have we been in a great trespass unto this day; and for our iniquities have we, our kings, and our priests, been delivered into the hand of the kings of the lands, to the sword, to captivity, and to a spoil, and to confusion of face, AS it is this day. 13 And after all that is come upon us for our evil deeds, and for our great trespass, seeing that thou our God hast punished us less than our iniquities deserve, and hast given us such deliverance AS this; 15 O LORD God of Israel, thou art righteous: for we remain yet escaped, AS it is this day: behold, we are before thee in our trespasses: for we cannot stand before thee because of this. EZRA 10 3 Now therefore let us make a covenant with our God to put away all the wives, and such AS are born of them, according to the counsel of my lord, and of those that tremble at the commandment of our God; and let it be done according to the law. 5 Then AROSE Ezra, and made the chief priests, the Levites, and all Israel, to swear that they should do according to this word. And they sware. 12 Then all the congregation answered and said with a loud voice, AS thou hast said, so must we do. NEHEMIAH 1 1 The words of Nehemiah the son of Hachaliah.
