JEREMIAH 43 11 And when he cometh, he shall smite the land of Egypt, and deliver such AS are for death to death; and such AS are for captivity to captivity; and such AS are for the sword to the sword. 12 And I will kindle a fire in the houses of the gods of Egypt; and he shall burn them, and carry them away captives: and he shall array himself with the land of Egypt, AS a shepherd putteth on his garment; and he shall go forth from thence in peace. JEREMIAH 44 6 Wherefore my fury and mine anger was poured forth, and was kindled in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem; and they are wasted and desolate, AS at this day. 13 For I will punish them that dwell in the land of Egypt, AS I have punished Jerusalem, by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence: 14 So that none of the remnant of Judah, which are gone into the land of Egypt to sojourn there, shall escape or remain, that they should return into the land of Judah, to the which they have a desire to return to dwell there: for none shall return but such AS shall escape. 16 AS for the word that thou hast spoken unto us in the name of the LORD, we will not hearken unto thee. 17 But we will certainly do whatsoever thing goeth forth out of our own mouth, to burn incense unto the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, AS we have done, we, and our fathers, our kings, and our princes, in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem: for then had we plenty of victuals, and were well, and saw no evil. 22 So that the LORD could no longer bear, because of the evil of your doings, and because of the abominations which ye have committed; therefore is your land a desolation, and an astonishment, and a curse, without an inhabitant, AS at this day. 23 Because ye have burned incense, and because ye have sinned against the LORD, and have not obeyed the voice of the LORD, nor walked in his law, nor in his statutes, nor in his testimonies; therefore this evil is happened unto you, AS at this day. 30 Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will give Pharaohhophra king of Egypt into the hand of his enemies, and into the hand of them that seek his life; AS I gave Zedekiah king of Judah into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, his enemy, and that sought his life. JEREMIAH 46 7 Who is this that cometh up AS a flood, whose waters are moved AS the rivers? 18 AS I live, saith the King, whose name is the LORD of hosts, Surely AS Tabor is among the mountains, and AS Carmel by the sea, so shall he come. 22 The voice thereof shall go like a serpent; for they shall march with an army, and come against her with axes, AS hewers of wood. 26 And I will deliver them into the hand of those that seek their lives, and into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and into the hand of his servants: and afterward it shall be inhabited, AS in the days of old, saith the LORD.
