ACTS 23 7 And when he had so said, there AROSE a dissension between the Pharisees and the Sadducees: and the multitude was divided. 9 And there AROSE a great cry: and the scribes that were of the Pharisees' part AROSE, and strove, saying, We find no evil in this man: but if a spirit or an angel hath spoken to him, let us not fight against God. 10 And when there AROSE a great dissension, the chief captain, fearing lest Paul should have been pulled in pieces of them, commanded the soldiers to go down, and to take him by force from among them, and to bring him into the castle. 11 And the night following the Lord stood by him, and said, Be of good cheer, Paul: for AS thou hast testified of me in Jerusalem, so must thou bear witness also at Rome. 15 Now therefore ye with the council signify to the chief captain that he bring him down unto you to morrow, AS though ye would enquire something more perfectly concerning him: and we, or ever he come near, are ready to kill him. 20 And he said, The Jews have agreed to desire thee that thou wouldest bring down Paul to morrow into the council, AS though they would enquire somewhat of him more perfectly. 31 Then the soldiers, AS it was commanded them, took Paul, and brought him by night to Antipatris. ACTS 24 10 Then Paul, after that the governor had beckoned unto him to speak, answered, Forasmuch AS I know that thou hast been of many years a judge unto this nation, I do the more cheerfully answer for myself: 25 And AS he reasoned of righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come, Felix trembled, and answered, Go thy way for this time; when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee. ROMANS 5 12 Wherefore, AS by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: 15 But not AS the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many. 16 And not AS it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification. 18 Therefore AS by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. 19 For AS by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. 21 That AS sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord. ROMANS 6 3 Know ye not, that so many of us AS were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like AS Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 13 Neither yield ye your members AS instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, AS those that are alive from the dead, and your members AS instruments of righteousness unto God. 19 I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for AS ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness. ROMANS 7 1 Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man AS long AS he liveth? 2 For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long AS he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband. ROMANS 8 14 For AS many AS are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. 26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for AS we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 36 AS it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted AS sheep for the slaughter. --MORE-- |
