ACTS 12 4 And when he had apprehended him, he put him in PRISON, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people. 5 Peter therefore was kept in PRISON: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him. 6 And when Herod would have brought him forth, the same night Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains: and the keepers before the door kept the PRISON. 7 And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the PRISON: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands. 17 But he, beckoning unto them with the hand to hold their peace, declared unto them how the Lord had brought him out of the PRISON. And he said, Go shew these things unto James, and to the brethren. And he departed, and went into another place. ACTS 13 33 God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second PSALM, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee. 35 Wherefore he saith also in another PSALM, Thou shalt not suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. ACTS 16 23 And when they had laid many stripes upon them, they cast them into PRISON, charging the jailor to keep them safely: 24 Who, having received such a charge, thrust them into the inner PRISON, and made their feet fast in the stocks. 26 And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the PRISON were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed. 27 And the keeper of the PRISON awaking out of his sleep, and seeing the PRISON doors open, he drew out his sword, and would have killed himself, supposing that the prisoners had been fled. 36 And the keeper of the PRISON told this saying to Paul, The magistrates have sent to let you go: now therefore depart, and go in peace. 37 But Paul said unto them, They have beaten us openly uncondemned, being Romans, and have cast us into PRISON; and now do they thrust us out privily? nay verily; but let them come themselves and fetch us out. 40 And they went out of the PRISON, and entered into the house of Lydia: and when they had seen the brethren, they comforted them, and departed. ACTS 26 10 Which thing I also did in Jerusalem: and many of the saints did I shut up in PRISON, having received authority from the chief priests; and when they were put to death, I gave my voice against them. 1 CORINTHIANS 14 26 How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a PSALM, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying. 1 TIMOTHY 3 6 Not a novice, lest being lifted up with PRIDE he fall into the condemnation of the devil. 1 PETER 3 19 By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in PRISON; 1 JOHN 2 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the PRIDE of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. REVELATION 2 10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into PRISON, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life. REVELATION 20 7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his PRISON, --END-- |
