ISAIAH 11 16 And there shall be an highway for the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria; like as it WAS to Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt. ISAIAH 23 13 Behold the land of the Chaldeans; this people WAS not, till the Assyrian founded it for them that dwell in the wilderness: they set up the towers thereof, they raised up the palaces thereof; and he brought it to ruin. ISAIAH 36 3 Then came forth unto him Eliakim, Hilkiah's son, which WAS over the house, and Shebna the scribe, and Joah, Asaph's son, the recorder. 21 But they held their peace, and answered him not a word: for the king's commandment WAS, saying, Answer him not. 22 Then came Eliakim, the son of Hilkiah, that WAS over the household, and Shebna the scribe, and Joah, the son of Asaph, the recorder, to Hezekiah with their clothes rent, and told him the words of Rabshakeh. ISAIAH 37 2 And he sent Eliakim, who WAS over the household, and Shebna the scribe, and the elders of the priests covered with sackcloth, unto Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz. 6 And Isaiah said unto them, Thus shall ye say unto your master, Thus saith the LORD, Be not AFRAID of the words that thou hast heard, wherewith the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me. 8 So Rabshakeh returned, and found the king of Assyria warring against Libnah: for he had heard that he WAS departed from Lachish. 38 And it came to pass, as he WAS worshipping in the house of Nisroch his god, that Adrammelech and Sharezer his sons smote him with the sword; and they escaped into the land of Armenia: and Esarhaddon his son reigned in his stead. ISAIAH 38 1 In those days WAS Hezekiah sick unto death. And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came unto him, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Set thine house in order: for thou shalt die, and not live. 8 Behold, I will bring again the shadow of the degrees, which is gone down in the sun dial of Ahaz, ten degrees backward. So the sun returned ten degrees, by which degrees it WAS gone down. 9 The writing of Hezekiah king of Judah, when he had been sick, and WAS recovered of his sickness: 20 The LORD WAS ready to save me: therefore we will sing my songs to the stringed instruments all the days of our life in the house of the LORD. ISAIAH 39 1 At that time Merodachbaladan, the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters and a present to Hezekiah: for he had heard that he had been sick, and WAS recovered. 2 And Hezekiah WAS glad of them, and shewed them the house of his precious things, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and the precious ointment, and all the house of his armour, and all that WAS found in his treasures: there WAS nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion, that Hezekiah shewed them not. ISAIAH 40 9 O Zion, that bringest good tidings, get thee up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that bringest good tidings, lift up thy voice with strength; lift it up, be not AFRAID; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God! ISAIAH 41 5 The isles saw it, and feared; the ends of the earth were AFRAID, drew near, and came. 28 For I beheld, and there WAS no man; even among them, and there WAS no counsellor, that, when I asked of them, could answer a word. ISAIAH 43 10 Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there WAS no God formed, neither shall there be after me. 12 I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when there WAS no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, that I am God. 13 Yea, before the day WAS I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it? ISAIAH 44 8 Fear ye not, neither be AFRAID: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any. ISAIAH 47 6 I WAS wroth with my people, I have polluted mine inheritance, and given them into thine hand: thou didst shew them no mercy; upon the ancient hast thou very heavily laid thy yoke. --MORE-- |
