ISAIAH 19 16 In that day shall Egypt be like unto women: and it shall be AFRAID and fear because of the shaking of the hand of the LORD of hosts, which he shaketh over it. 17 And the land of Judah shall be a terror unto Egypt, every one that maketh mention thereof shall be AFRAID in himself, because of the counsel of the LORD of hosts, which he hath determined against it. ISAIAH 39 1 At that time Merodachbaladan, the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters and a present to Hezekiah: for he had heard that he had been sick, and WAS recovered. 2 And Hezekiah WAS glad of them, and shewed them the house of his precious things, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and the precious ointment, and all the house of his armour, and all that WAS found in his treasures: there WAS nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion, that Hezekiah shewed them not. ISAIAH 40 9 O Zion, that bringest good tidings, get thee up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that bringest good tidings, lift up thy voice with strength; lift it up, be not AFRAID; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God! ISAIAH 44 8 Fear ye not, neither be AFRAID: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any. ISAIAH 49 21 Then shalt thou say in thine heart, Who hath begotten me these, seeing I have lost my children, and am desolate, a captive, and removing to and fro? and who hath brought up these? Behold, I WAS left alone; these, where had they been? ISAIAH 50 2 Wherefore, when I came, WAS there no man? when I called, WAS there none to answer? Is my hand shortened at all, that it cannot redeem? or have I no power to deliver? behold, at my rebuke I dry up the sea, I make the rivers a wilderness: their fish stinketh, because there is no water, and dieth for thirst. 5 The Lord GOD hath opened mine ear, and I WAS not rebellious, neither turned away back. ISAIAH 51 7 Hearken unto me, ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; fear ye not the reproach of men, neither be ye AFRAID of their revilings. 12 I, even I, am he that comforteth you: who art thou, that thou shouldest be AFRAID of a man that shall die, and of the son of man which shall be made as grass; ISAIAH 52 14 As many were astonied at thee; his visage WAS so marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men: ISAIAH 53 3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he WAS despised, and we esteemed him not. 5 But he WAS wounded for our transgressions, he WAS bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace WAS upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. 7 He WAS oppressed, and he WAS afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. 8 He WAS taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he WAS cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people WAS he stricken. 9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither WAS any deceit in his mouth. 12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he WAS numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors. ISAIAH 57 11 And of whom hast thou been AFRAID or feared, that thou hast lied, and hast not remembered me, nor laid it to thy heart? have not I held my peace even of old, and thou fearest me not? 17 For the iniquity of his covetousness WAS I wroth, and smote him: I hid me, and WAS wroth, and he went on frowardly in the way of his heart. --MORE-- |
