Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there WAS a great calm. 28 And when he WAS come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way. 30 And there WAS a good way off from them an herd of many swine feeding. 33 And they that kept them fled, and went their ways into the city, and told every thing, and what WAS befallen to the possessed of the devils. MATTHEW 9 20 And, behold, a woman, which WAS diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment: 22 But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And he stretched it forth; and it WAS restored whole, like as the other. 17 That it might be fulfilled which WAS spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, 22 Then WAS brought unto him one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and he healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spake and saw. 40 For as Jonas WAS three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. MATTHEW 14 6 But when Herod's birthday WAS kept, the daughter of Herodias danced before them, and pleased Herod. 9 And the king WAS sorry: nevertheless for the oath's sake, and them which sat with him at meat, he commanded it to be given her. 11 And his head WAS brought in a charger, and given to the damsel: and she brought it to her mother. 14 And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and WAS moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick. 15 And when it WAS evening, his disciples came to him, saying, This is a desert place, and the time is now past; send the multitude away, that they may go into the villages, and buy themselves victuals. 23 And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening WAS come, he WAS there alone. 24 But the ship WAS now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind WAS contrary. 27 But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not AFRAID. 29 And he said, Come. And when Peter WAS come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. 30 But when he saw the wind boisterous, he WAS AFRAID; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. --MORE-- |
