And they began to be merry. 25 Now his elder son WAS in the field: and as he came and drew nigh to the house, he heard musick and dancing. 28 And he WAS angry, and would not go in: therefore came his father out, and intreated him. 30 But as soon as this thy son WAS come, which hath devoured thy living with harlots, thou hast killed for him the fatted calf. 32 It WAS meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this thy brother WAS dead, and is alive again; and WAS lost, and is found. LUKE 16 1 And he said also unto his disciples, There WAS a certain rich man, which had a steward; and the same WAS accused unto him that he had wasted his goods. 19 There WAS a certain rich man, which WAS clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: 20 And there WAS a certain beggar named Lazarus, which WAS laid at his gate, full of sores, 22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and WAS carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and WAS buried; LUKE 17 10 So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which WAS our duty to do. 15 And one of them, when he saw that he WAS healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God, 16 And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he WAS a Samaritan. 20 And when he WAS demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: 26 And as it WAS in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. 28 Likewise also as it WAS in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; LUKE 18 2 Saying, There WAS in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man: 3 And there WAS a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary. 23 And when he heard this, he WAS very sorrowful: for he WAS very rich. 24 And when Jesus saw that he WAS very sorrowful, he said, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God! 34 And they understood none of these things: and this saying WAS hid from them, neither knew they the things which were spoken. 35 And it came to pass, that as he WAS come nigh unto Jericho, a certain blind man sat by the way side begging: 40 And Jesus stood, and commanded him to be brought unto him: and when he WAS come near, he asked him, --MORE-- |
