JOHN 6
4 And the passover, a feast of the Jews, WAS nigh.
10 And Jesus said, Make the men sit down. Now there WAS much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand.
16 And when even WAS now come, his disciples went down unto the sea,
17 And entered into a ship, and went over the sea toward Capernaum. And it WAS now dark, and Jesus WAS not come to them.
19 So when they had rowed about five and twenty or thirty furlongs, they see Jesus walking on the sea, and drawing nigh unto the ship: and they were AFRAID.
20 But he saith unto them, It is I; be not AFRAID.
21 Then they willingly received him into the ship: and immediately the ship WAS at the land whither they went.
22 The day following, when the people which stood on the other side of the sea saw that there WAS none other boat there, save that one whereinto his disciples were entered, and that Jesus went not with his disciples into the boat, but that his disciples were gone away alone;
24 When the people therefore saw that Jesus WAS not there, neither his disciples, they also took shipping, and came to Capernaum, seeking for Jesus.
62 What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he WAS before?
71 He spake of Judas Iscariot the son of Simon: for he it WAS that should betray him, being one of the twelve.
JOHN 7
2 Now the Jew's feast of tabernacles WAS at hand.
12 And there WAS much murmuring among the people concerning him: for some said, He is a good man: others said, Nay; but he deceiveth the people.
30 Then they sought to take him: but no man laid hands on him, because his hour WAS not yet come.
39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost WAS not yet given; because that Jesus WAS not yet glorified.)
42 Hath not the scripture said, That Christ cometh of the seed of David, and out of the town of Bethlehem, where David WAS?
43 So there WAS a division among the people because of him.
JOHN 8
4 They say unto him, Master, this woman WAS taken in adultery, in the very act.
9 And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus WAS left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.
20 These words spake Jesus in the treasury, as he taught in the temple: and no man laid hands on him; for his hour WAS not yet come.
44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He WAS a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and WAS glad.
58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham WAS, I am.
JOHN 9
1 And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which WAS blind from his birth.
2 And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he WAS born blind?
8 The neighbours therefore, and they which before had seen him that he WAS blind, said, Is not this he that sat and begged?
13 They brought to the Pharisees him that aforetime WAS blind.
14 And it WAS the sabbath day when Jesus made the clay, and opened his eyes.
16 Therefore said some of the Pharisees, This man is not of God, because he keepeth not the sabbath day. Others said, How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles? And there WAS a division among them.
19 And they asked them, saying, Is this your son, who ye say WAS born blind? how then doth he now see?
20 His parents answered them and said, We know that this is our son, and that he WAS born blind:
22 These words spake his parents, because they feared the Jews: for the Jews had agreed already, that if any man did confess that he WAS Christ, he should be put out of the synagogue.
24 Then again called they the man that WAS blind, and said unto him, Give God the praise: we know that this man is a sinner.
25 He answered and said, Whether he be a sinner or no, I know not: one thing I know, that, whereas I WAS blind, now I see.
32 Since the world began WAS it not heard that any man opened the eyes of one that WAS born blind.
JOHN 10
19 There WAS a division therefore again among the Jews for these sayings.
22 And it WAS at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it WAS winter.
JOHN 11
1 Now a certain man WAS sick, named Lazarus, of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha.
2 (It WAS that Mary which anointed the Lord with ointment, and wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus WAS sick.)
6 When he had heard therefore that he WAS sick, he abode two days still in the same place where he WAS.
15 And I am glad for your sakes that I WAS not there, to the intent ye may believe; nevertheless let us go unto him.
18 Now Bethany WAS nigh unto Jerusalem, about fifteen furlongs off:
20 Then Martha, as soon as she heard that Jesus WAS coming, went and met him: but Mary sat still in the house.
30 Now Jesus WAS not yet come into the town, but WAS in that place where Martha met him.
32 Then when Mary WAS come where Jesus WAS, and saw him, she fell down at his feet, saying unto him, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died.
33 When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews also weeping which came with her, he groaned in the spirit, and WAS troubled.
38 Jesus therefore again groaning in himself cometh to the grave. It WAS a cave, and a stone lay upon it.
39 Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that WAS dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days.
41 Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead WAS laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me.
44 And he that WAS dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face WAS bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.
55 And the Jews' passover WAS nigh at hand: and many went out of the country up to Jerusalem before the passover, to purify themselves.
