JOHN 10
19 There WAS a division therefore again among the Jews for these sayings.
22 And it WAS at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it WAS winter.
JOHN 11
1 Now a certain man WAS sick, named Lazarus, of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha.
2 (It WAS that Mary which anointed the Lord with ointment, and wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus WAS sick.)
6 When he had heard therefore that he WAS sick, he abode two days still in the same place where he WAS.
15 And I am glad for your sakes that I WAS not there, to the intent ye may believe; nevertheless let us go unto him.
18 Now Bethany WAS nigh unto Jerusalem, about fifteen furlongs off:
20 Then Martha, as soon as she heard that Jesus WAS coming, went and met him: but Mary sat still in the house.
30 Now Jesus WAS not yet come into the town, but WAS in that place where Martha met him.
32 Then when Mary WAS come where Jesus WAS, and saw him, she fell down at his feet, saying unto him, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died.
33 When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews also weeping which came with her, he groaned in the spirit, and WAS troubled.
38 Jesus therefore again groaning in himself cometh to the grave. It WAS a cave, and a stone lay upon it.
39 Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that WAS dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days.
41 Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead WAS laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me.
44 And he that WAS dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face WAS bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.
55 And the Jews' passover WAS nigh at hand: and many went out of the country up to Jerusalem before the passover, to purify themselves.
JOHN 12
1 Then Jesus six days before the passover came to Bethany, where Lazarus WAS, which had been dead, whom he raised from the dead.
2 There they made him a supper; and Martha served: but Lazarus WAS one of them that sat at the table with him.
3 Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house WAS filled with the odour of the ointment.
5 Why WAS not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor?
6 This he said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he WAS a thief, and had the bag, and bare what WAS put therein.
9 Much people of the Jews therefore knew that he WAS there: and they came not for Jesus' sake only, but that they might see Lazarus also, whom he had raised from the dead.
12 On the next day much people that were come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus WAS coming to Jerusalem,
16 These things understood not his disciples at the first: but when Jesus WAS glorified, then remembered they that these things were written of him, and that they had done these things unto him.
17 The people therefore that WAS with him when he called Lazarus out of his grave, and raised him from the dead, bare record.
21 The same came therefore to Philip, which WAS of Bethsaida of Galilee, and desired him, saying, Sir, we would see Jesus.
JOHN 13
1 Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour WAS come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end.
3 Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he WAS come from God, and went to God;
5 After that he poureth water into a bason, and began to wash the disciples' feet, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith he WAS girded.
12 So after he had washed their feet, and had taken his garments, and WAS set down again, he said unto them, Know ye what I have done to you?
21 When Jesus had thus said, he WAS troubled in spirit, and testified, and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me.
23 Now there WAS leaning on Jesus' bosom one of his disciples, whom Jesus loved.
30 He then having received the sop went immediately out: and it WAS night.
31 Therefore, when he WAS gone out, Jesus said, Now is the Son of man glorified, and God is glorified in him.
JOHN 14
27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be AFRAID.
JOHN 16
4 But these things have I told you, that when the time shall come, ye may remember that I told you of them. And these things I said not unto you at the beginning, because I WAS with you.
JOHN 17
5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world WAS.
12 While I WAS with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.
JOHN 18
1 When Jesus had spoken these words, he went forth with his disciples over the brook Cedron, where WAS a garden, into the which he entered, and his disciples.
10 Then Simon Peter having a sword drew it, and smote the high priest's servant, and cut off his right ear. The servant's name WAS Malchus.
13 And led him away to Annas first; for he WAS father in law to Caiaphas, which WAS the high priest that same year.
14 Now Caiaphas WAS he, which gave counsel to the Jews, that it WAS expedient that one man should die for the people.
15 And Simon Peter followed Jesus, and so did another disciple: that disciple WAS known unto the high priest, and went in with Jesus into the palace of the high priest.
16 But Peter stood at the door without. Then went out that other disciple, which WAS known unto the high priest, and spake unto her that kept the door, and brought in Peter.
18 And the servants and officers stood there, who had made a fire of coals; for it WAS cold: and they warmed themselves: and Peter stood with them, and warmed himself.
28 Then led they Jesus from Caiaphas unto the hall of judgment: and it WAS early; and they themselves went not into the judgment hall, lest they should be defiled; but that they might eat the passover.
37 Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end WAS I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.
40 Then cried they all again, saying, Not this man, but Barabbas. Now Barabbas WAS a robber.
JOHN 19
8 When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he WAS the more AFRAID;
14 And it WAS the preparation of the passover, and about the sixth hour: and he saith unto the Jews, Behold your King!
19 And Pilate wrote a title, and put it on the cross. And the writing WAS JESUS OF NAZARETH THE KING OF THE JEWS.
20 This title then read many of the Jews: for the place where Jesus WAS crucified WAS nigh to the city: and it WAS written in Hebrew, and Greek, and Latin.
23 Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took his garments, and made four parts, to every soldier a part; and also his coat: now the coat WAS without seam, woven from the top throughout.
29 Now there WAS set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a spunge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put it to his mouth.
31 The Jews therefore, because it WAS the preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the sabbath day, (for that sabbath day WAS an high day,) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away.
32 Then came the soldiers, and brake the legs of the first, and of the other which WAS crucified with him.
33 But when they came to Jesus, and saw that he WAS dead already, they brake not his legs:
41 Now in the place where he WAS crucified there WAS a garden; and in the garden a new sepulchre, wherein WAS never man yet laid.
42 There laid they Jesus therefore because of the Jews' preparation day; for the sepulchre WAS nigh at hand.
