EXODUS 8 15 But when Pharaoh saw that there WAS respite, he hardened his heart, and hearkened not unto them; as the LORD had said. 19 Then the magicians said unto Pharaoh, This is the finger of God: and Pharaoh's heart WAS hardened, and he hearkened not unto them; as the LORD had said. 24 And the LORD did so; and there came a grievous swarm of flies into the house of Pharaoh, and into his servants' houses, and into all the land of Egypt: the land WAS corrupted by reason of the swarm of flies. EXODUS 9 7 And Pharaoh sent, and, behold, there WAS not one of the cattle of the Israelites dead. And the heart of Pharaoh WAS hardened, and he did not let the people go. 11 And the magicians could not stand before Moses because of the boils; for the boil WAS upon the magicians, and upon all the Egyptians. 24 So there WAS hail, and fire mingled with the hail, very grievous, such as there WAS none like it in all the land of Egypt since it became a nation. 25 And the hail smote throughout all the land of Egypt all that WAS in the field, both man and beast; and the hail smote every herb of the field, and brake every tree of the field. 26 Only in the land of Goshen, where the children of Israel were, WAS there no hail. 31 And the flax and the barley WAS smitten: for the barley WAS in the ear, and the flax WAS bolled. 33 And Moses went out of the city from Pharaoh, and spread abroad his hands unto the LORD: and the thunders and hail ceased, and the rain WAS not poured upon the earth. 35 And the heart of Pharaoh WAS hardened, neither would he let the children of Israel go; as the LORD had spoken by Moses. EXODUS 10 13 And Moses stretched forth his rod over the land of Egypt, and the LORD brought an east wind upon the land all that day, and all that night; and when it WAS morning, the east wind brought the locusts. 15 For they covered the face of the whole earth, so that the land WAS darkened; and they did eat every herb of the land, and all the fruit of the trees which the hail had left: and there remained not any green thing in the trees, or in the herbs of the field, through all the land of Egypt. 22 And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there WAS a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days: EXODUS 11 3 And the LORD gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover the man Moses WAS very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh's servants, and in the sight of the people. 6 And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there WAS none like it, nor shall be like it any more. EXODUS 12 29 And it came to pass, that at midnight the LORD smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that WAS in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle. 30 And Pharaoh rose up in the night, he, and all his servants, and all the Egyptians; and there WAS a great cry in Egypt; for there WAS not a house where there WAS not one dead. 34 And the people took their dough before it WAS leavened, their kneadingtroughs being bound up in their clothes upon their shoulders. 39 And they baked unleavened cakes of the dough which they brought forth out of Egypt, for it WAS not leavened; because they were thrust out of Egypt, and could not tarry, neither had they prepared for themselves any victual. 40 Now the sojourning of the children of Israel, who dwelt in Egypt, WAS four hundred and thirty years. EXODUS 13 17 And it came to pass, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that God led them not through the way of the land of the Philistines, although that WAS near; for God said, Lest peradventure the people repent when they see war, and they return to Egypt: EXODUS 14 5 And it WAS told the king of Egypt that the people fled: and the heart of Pharaoh and of his servants WAS turned against the people, and they said, Why have we done this, that we have let Israel go from serving us? 10 And when Pharaoh drew nigh, the children of Israel lifted up their eyes, and, behold, the Egyptians marched after them; and they were sore AFRAID: and the children of Israel cried out unto the LORD. 20 And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it WAS a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these: so that the one came not near the other all the night. EXODUS 15 14 The people shall hear, and be AFRAID: sorrow shall take hold on the inhabitants of Palestina. 23 And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter: therefore the name of it WAS called Marah. EXODUS 16 14 And when the dew that lay WAS gone up, behold, upon the face of the wilderness there lay a small round thing, as small as the hoar frost on the ground. 15 And when the children of Israel saw it, they said one to another, It is manna: for they wist not what it WAS. And Moses said unto them, This is the bread which the LORD hath given you to eat. 20 Notwithstanding they hearkened not unto Moses; but some of them left of it until the morning, and it bred worms, and stank: and Moses WAS wroth with them. 24 And they laid it up till the morning, as Moses bade: and it did not stink, neither WAS there any worm therein. 31 And the house of Israel called the name thereof Manna: and it WAS like coriander seed, white; and the taste of it WAS like wafers made with honey. EXODUS 17 1 And all the congregation of the children of Israel journeyed from the wilderness of Sin, after their journeys, according to the commandment of the LORD, and pitched in Rephidim: and there WAS no water for the people to drink. EXODUS 18 3 And her two sons; of which the name of the one WAS Gershom; for he said, I have been an alien in a strange land: 4 And the name of the other WAS Eliezer; for the God of my father, said he, WAS mine help, and delivered me from the sword of Pharaoh: 11 Now I know that the LORD is greater than all gods: for in the thing wherein they dealt proudly he WAS above them. EXODUS 19 16 And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud; so that all the people that WAS in the camp trembled. 18 And mount Sinai WAS altogether on a smoke, because the LORD descended upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly. EXODUS 20 21 And the people stood afar off, and Moses drew near unto the thick darkness where God WAS. EXODUS 22 13 If it be torn in pieces, then let him bring it for witness, and he shall not make good that which WAS torn. EXODUS 24 10 And they saw the God of Israel: and there WAS under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in his clearness. 17 And the sight of the glory of the LORD WAS like devouring fire on the top of the mount in the eyes of the children of Israel. 18 And Moses went into the midst of the cloud, and gat him up into the mount: and Moses WAS in the mount forty days and forty nights. EXODUS 25 40 And look that thou make them after their pattern, which WAS shewed thee in the mount. EXODUS 26 30 And thou shalt rear up the tabernacle according to the fashion thereof which WAS shewed thee in the mount. EXODUS 27 8 Hollow with boards shalt thou make it: as it WAS shewed thee in the mount, so shall they make it. EXODUS 29 33 And they shall eat those things wherewith the atonement WAS made, to consecrate and to sanctify them: but a stranger shall not eat thereof, because they are holy. EXODUS 31 17 It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and WAS refreshed. EXODUS 32 16 And the tables were the work of God, and the writing WAS the writing of God, graven upon the tables. EXODUS 33 7 And Moses took the tabernacle, and pitched it without the camp, afar off from the camp, and called it the Tabernacle of the congregation. And it came to pass, that every one which sought the LORD went out unto the tabernacle of the congregation, which WAS without the camp. 8 And it came to pass, when Moses went out unto the tabernacle, that all the people rose up, and stood every man at his tent door, and looked after Moses, until he WAS gone into the tabernacle. --MORE-- |
