1 KINGS 14 7 Go, tell Jeroboam, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Forasmuch as I exalted thee from among the people, and made thee PRINCE over my people Israel, 1 KINGS 16 2 Forasmuch as I exalted thee out of the dust, and made thee PRINCE over my people Israel; and thou hast walked in the way of Jeroboam, and hast made my people Israel to sin, to provoke me to anger with their sins; 1 KINGS 22 27 And say, Thus saith the king, Put this fellow in the PRISON, and feed him with bread of affliction and with water of affliction, until I come in peace. 2 KINGS 17 4 And the king of Assyria found conspiracy in Hoshea: for he had sent messengers to So king of Egypt, and brought no present to the king of Assyria, as he had done year by year: therefore the king of Assyria shut him up, and bound him in PRISON. 2 KINGS 25 27 And it came to pass in the seven and thirtieth year of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, on the seven and twentieth day of the month, that Evilmerodach king of Babylon in the year that he began to reign did lift up the head of Jehoiachin king of Judah out of PRISON; 29 And changed his PRISON garments: and he did eat bread continually before him all the days of his life. 1 CHRONICLES 2 10 And Ram begat Amminadab; and Amminadab begat Nahshon, PRINCE of the children of Judah; 1 CHRONICLES 5 6 Beerah his son, whom Tilgathpilneser king of Assyria carried away captive: he was PRINCE of the Reubenites. 1 CHRONICLES 16 7 Then on that day David delivered first this PSALM to thank the LORD into the hand of Asaph and his brethren. 2 CHRONICLES 16 10 Then Asa was wroth with the seer, and put him in a PRISON house; for he was in a rage with him because of this thing. And Asa oppressed some of the people the same time. 2 CHRONICLES 18 26 And say, Thus saith the king, Put this fellow in the PRISON, and feed him with bread of affliction and with water of affliction, until I return in peace. EZRA 1 8 Even those did Cyrus king of Persia bring forth by the hand of Mithredath the treasurer, and numbered them unto Sheshbazzar, the PRINCE of Judah. NEHEMIAH 3 25 Palal the son of Uzai, over against the turning of the wall, and the tower which lieth out from the king's high house, that was by the court of the PRISON. After him Pedaiah the son of Parosh. NEHEMIAH 12 39 And from above the gate of Ephraim, and above the old gate, and above the fish gate, and the tower of Hananeel, and the tower of Meah, even unto the sheep gate: and they stood still in the PRISON gate. JOB 21 28 For ye say, Where is the house of the PRINCE? and where are the dwelling places of the wicked? JOB 31 37 I would declare unto him the number of my steps; as a PRINCE would I go near unto him. PSALM 81 2 Take a PSALM, and bring hither the timbrel, the pleasant harp with the psaltery. PSALM 98 5 Sing unto the LORD with the harp; with the harp, and the voice of a PSALM. PSALM 142 7 Bring my soul out of PRISON, that I may praise thy name: the righteous shall compass me about; for thou shalt deal bountifully with me. PROVERBS 14 28 In the multitude of people is the king's honour: but in the want of people is the destruction of the PRINCE. PROVERBS 17 7 Excellent speech becometh not a fool: much less do lying lips a PRINCE. PROVERBS 19 6 Many will intreat the favour of the PRINCE: and every man is a friend to him that giveth gifts. PROVERBS 25 7 For better it is that it be said unto thee, Come up hither; than that thou shouldest be put lower in the presence of the PRINCE whom thine eyes have seen. 15 By long forbearing is a PRINCE persuaded, and a soft tongue breaketh the bone. PROVERBS 28 16 The PRINCE that wanteth understanding is also a great oppressor: but he that hateth covetousness shall prolong his days. ECCLESIASTES 4 14 For out of PRISON he cometh to reign; whereas also he that is born in his kingdom becometh poor. ISAIAH 9 6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The PRINCE of Peace. ISAIAH 24 22 And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the PRISON, and after many days shall they be visited. ISAIAH 42 7 To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the PRISON, and them that sit in darkness out of the PRISON house. 22 But this is a people robbed and spoiled; they are all of them snared in holes, and they are hid in PRISON houses: they are for a prey, and none delivereth; for a spoil, and none saith, Restore. ISAIAH 53 8 He was taken from PRISON and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken. ISAIAH 61 1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the PRISON to them that are bound; JEREMIAH 29 26 The LORD hath made thee priest in the stead of Jehoiada the priest, that ye should be officers in the house of the LORD, for every man that is mad, and maketh himself a prophet, that thou shouldest put him in PRISON, and in the stocks. JEREMIAH 32 2 For then the king of Babylon's army besieged Jerusalem: and Jeremiah the prophet was shut up in the court of the PRISON, which was in the king of Judah's house. 8 So Hanameel mine uncle's son came to me in the court of the PRISON according to the word of the LORD, and said unto me, Buy my field, I pray thee, that is in Anathoth, which is in the country of Benjamin: for the right of inheritance is thine, and the redemption is thine; buy it for thyself. Then I knew that this was the word of the LORD. 12 And I gave the evidence of the purchase unto Baruch the son of Neriah, the son of Maaseiah, in the sight of Hanameel mine uncle's son, and in the presence of the witnesses that subscribed the book of the purchase, before all the Jews that sat in the court of the PRISON. JEREMIAH 33 1 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah the second time, while he was yet shut up in the court of the PRISON, saying, JEREMIAH 37 4 Now Jeremiah came in and went out among the people: for they had not put him into PRISON. 15 Wherefore the princes were wroth with Jeremiah, and smote him, and put him in PRISON in the house of Jonathan the scribe: for they had made that the PRISON. 18 Moreover Jeremiah said unto king Zedekiah, What have I offended against thee, or against thy servants, or against this people, that ye have put me in PRISON? 21 Then Zedekiah the king commanded that they should commit Jeremiah into the court of the PRISON, and that they should give him daily a piece of bread out of the bakers' street, until all the bread in the city were spent. Thus Jeremiah remained in the court of the PRISON. JEREMIAH 38 6 Then took they Jeremiah, and cast him into the dungeon of Malchiah the son of Hammelech, that was in the court of the PRISON: and they let down Jeremiah with cords. And in the dungeon there was no water, but mire: so Jeremiah sunk in the mire. 13 So they drew up Jeremiah with cords, and took him up out of the dungeon: and Jeremiah remained in the court of the PRISON. 28 So Jeremiah abode in the court of the PRISON until the day that Jerusalem was taken: and he was there when Jerusalem was taken. JEREMIAH 39 14 Even they sent, and took Jeremiah out of the court of the PRISON, and committed him unto Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan, that he should carry him home: so he dwelt among the people. 15 Now the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah, while he was shut up in the court of the PRISON, saying, JEREMIAH 51 59 The word which Jeremiah the prophet commanded Seraiah the son of Neriah, the son of Maaseiah, when he went with Zedekiah the king of Judah into Babylon in the fourth year of his reign. And this Seraiah was a quiet PRINCE. JEREMIAH 52 11 Then he put out the eyes of Zedekiah; and the king of Babylon bound him in chains, and carried him to Babylon, and put him in PRISON till the day of his death. 31 And it came to pass in the seven and thirtieth year of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, in the five and twentieth day of the month, that Evilmerodach king of Babylon in the first year of his reign lifted up the head of Jehoiachin king of Judah, and brought him forth out of PRISON. 33 And changed his PRISON garments: and he did continually eat bread before him all the days of his life. --MORE-- |
