EZEKIEL 30 9 In that day shall messengers go forth from me in ships to make the careless Ethiopians AFRAID, and great pain shall come upon them, as in the day of Egypt: for, lo, it cometh. EZEKIEL 31 15 Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the day when he WENT down to the grave I caused a mourning: I covered the deep for him, and I restrained the floods thereof, and the great waters were stayed: and I caused Lebanon to mourn for him, and all the trees of the field fainted for him. 17 They also WENT down into hell with him unto them that be slain with the sword; and they that were his arm, that dwelt under his shadow in the midst of the heathen. EZEKIEL 32 10 Yea, I will make many people amazed at thee, and their kings shall be horribly AFRAID for thee, when I shall brandish my sword before them; and they shall tremble at every moment, every man for his own life, in the day of thy fall. EZEKIEL 34 28 And they shall no more be a prey to the heathen, neither shall the beast of the land devour them; but they shall dwell safely, and none shall make them AFRAID. EZEKIEL 36 20 And when they entered unto the heathen, whither they WENT, they profaned my holy name, when they said to them, These are the people of the LORD, and are gone forth out of his land. 21 But I had pity for mine holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the heathen, whither they WENT. 22 Therefore say unto the house of Israel, thus saith the Lord GOD; I do not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy name's sake, which ye have profaned among the heathen, whither ye WENT. EZEKIEL 39 23 And the heathen shall know that the house of Israel WENT into captivity for their iniquity: because they trespassed against me, therefore hid I my face from them, and gave them into the hand of their enemies: so fell they all by the sword. 26 After that they have borne their shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and none made them AFRAID. EZEKIEL 40 6 Then came he unto the gate which looketh toward the east, and WENT up the stairs thereof, and measured the threshold of the gate, which was one reed broad; and the other threshold of the gate, which was one reed broad. 22 And their windows, and their arches, and their palm trees, were after the measure of the gate that looketh toward the east; and they WENT up unto it by seven steps; and the arches thereof were before them. 49 The length of the porch was twenty cubits, and the breadth eleven cubits, and he brought me by the steps whereby they WENT up to it: and there were pillars by the posts, one on this side, and another on that side. EZEKIEL 41 3 Then WENT he inward, and measured the post of the door, two cubits; and the door, six cubits; and the breadth of the door, seven cubits. 7 And there was an enlarging, and a winding about still upward to the side chambers: for the winding about of the house WENT still upward round about the house: therefore the breadth of the house was still upward, and so increased from the lowest chamber to the highest by the midst. 24 And the doors had two leaves APIECE, two turning leaves; two leaves for the one door, and two leaves for the other door. EZEKIEL 44 10 And the Levites that are gone away far from me, when Israel WENT astray, which WENT astray away from me after their idols; they shall even bear their iniquity. 15 But the priests the Levites, the sons of Zadok, that kept the charge of my sanctuary when the children of Israel WENT astray from me, they shall come near to me to minister unto me, and they shall stand before me to offer unto me the fat and the blood, saith the Lord GOD: EZEKIEL 47 3 And when the man that had the line in his hand WENT forth eastward, he measured a thousand cubits, and he brought me through the waters; the waters were to the ankles. EZEKIEL 48 11 It shall be for the priests that are sanctified of the sons of Zadok; which have kept my charge, which WENT not astray when the children of Israel WENT astray, as the Levites WENT astray. DANIEL 2 13 And the decree WENT forth that the wise men should be slain; and they sought Daniel and his fellows to be slain. 16 Then Daniel WENT in, and desired of the king that he would give him time, and that he would shew the king the interpretation. 17 Then Daniel WENT to his house, and made the thing known to Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, his companions: 24 Therefore Daniel WENT in unto Arioch, whom the king had ordained to destroy the wise men of Babylon: he WENT and said thus unto him; Destroy not the wise men of Babylon: bring me in before the king, and I will shew unto the king the interpretation. DANIEL 4 5 I saw a dream which made me AFRAID, and the thoughts upon my bed and the visions of my head troubled me. DANIEL 6 10 Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he WENT into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime. 18 Then the king WENT to his palace, and passed the night fasting: neither were instruments of musick brought before him: and his sleep WENT from him. 19 Then the king arose very early in the morning, and WENT in haste unto the den of lions. DANIEL 8 17 So he came near where I stood: and when he came, I was AFRAID, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man: for at the time of the end shall be the vision. HOSEA 1 3 So he WENT and took Gomer the daughter of Diblaim; which conceived, and bare him a son. HOSEA 2 13 And I will visit upon her the days of Baalim, wherein she burned incense to them, and she decked herself with her earrings and her jewels, and she WENT after her lovers, and forgat me, saith the LORD. HOSEA 5 13 When Ephraim saw his sickness, and Judah saw his wound, then WENT Ephraim to the Assyrian, and sent to king Jareb: yet could he not heal you, nor cure you of your wound. HOSEA 9 10 I found Israel like grapes in the wilderness; I saw your fathers as the firstripe in the fig tree at her first time: but they WENT to Baalpeor, and separated themselves unto that shame; and their abominations were according as they loved. HOSEA 11 2 As they called them, so they WENT from them: they sacrificed unto Baalim, and burned incense to graven images. JOEL 2 22 Be not AFRAID, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength. AMOS 3 6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be AFRAID? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it? AMOS 5 3 For thus saith the Lord GOD; The city that WENT out by a thousand shall leave an hundred, and that which WENT forth by an hundred shall leave ten, to the house of Israel. 19 As if a man did flee from a lion, and a bear met him; or WENT into the house, and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him. JONAH 1 3 But Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD, and WENT down to Joppa; and he found a ship going to Tarshish: so he paid the fare thereof, and WENT down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD. 5 Then the mariners were AFRAID, and cried every man unto his god, and cast forth the wares that were in the ship into the sea, to lighten it of them. But Jonah was gone down into the sides of the ship; and he lay, and was fast asleep. 10 Then were the men exceedingly AFRAID, and said unto him. Why hast thou done this? For the men knew that he fled from the presence of the LORD, because he had told them. JONAH 2 6 I WENT down to the bottoms of the mountains; the earth with her bars was about me for ever: yet hast thou brought up my life from corruption, O LORD my God. JONAH 3 3 So Jonah arose, and WENT unto Nineveh, according to the word of the LORD. Now Nineveh was an exceeding great city of three days' journey. JONAH 4 5 So Jonah WENT out of the city, and sat on the east side of the city, and there made him a booth, and sat under it in the shadow, till he might see what would become of the city. MICAH 4 4 But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them AFRAID: for the mouth of the LORD of hosts hath spoken it. MICAH 7 17 They shall lick the dust like a serpent, they shall move out of their holes like worms of the earth: they shall be AFRAID of the LORD our God, and shall fear because of thee. NAHUM 2 11 Where is the dwelling of the lions, and the feedingplace of the young lions, where the lion, even the old lion, walked, and the lion's whelp, and none made them AFRAID? NAHUM 3 10 Yet was she carried away, she WENT into captivity: her young children also were dashed in pieces at the top of all the streets: and they cast lots for her honourable men, and all her great men were bound in chains. HABAKKUK 2 17 For the violence of Lebanon shall cover thee, and the spoil of beasts, which made them AFRAID, because of men's blood, and for the violence of the land, of the city, and of all that dwell therein. HABAKKUK 3 2 O LORD, I have heard thy speech, and was AFRAID: O LORD, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy. 5 Before him WENT the pestilence, and burning coals WENT forth at his feet. 11 The sun and moon stood still in their habitation: at the light of thine arrows they WENT, and at the shining of thy glittering spear. --MORE-- |
