DEUTERONOMY 15 7 If there be among you a poor man of one of thy brethren within any of thy gates in thy land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not harden thine heart, NOR shut thine hand from thy poor brother: 19 All the firstling males that come of thy herd and of thy flock thou shalt sanctify unto the LORD thy God: thou shalt do no work with the firstling of thy bullock, NOR shear the firstling of thy sheep. DEUTERONOMY 17 11 According to the sentence of the law which they shall teach thee, and according to the judgment which they shall tell thee, thou shalt do: thou shalt not decline from the sentence which they shall shew thee, to the right hand, NOR to the left. 16 But he shall not multiply horses to himself, NOR cause the people to return to Egypt, to the end that he should multiply horses: forasmuch as the LORD hath said unto you, Ye shall henceforth return no more that way. DEUTERONOMY 18 1 The priests the Levites, and all the tribe of Levi, shall have no part NOR inheritance with Israel: they shall eat the offerings of the LORD made by fire, and his inheritance. 22 When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, NOR come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be AFRAID of him. DEUTERONOMY 20 1 When thou goest out to battle against thine enemies, and seest horses, and chariots, and a people more than thou, be not AFRAID of them: for the LORD thy God is with thee, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. DEUTERONOMY 21 4 And the elders of that city shall bring down the heifer unto a rough valley, which is neither eared NOR sown, and shall strike off the heifer's neck there in the valley: DEUTERONOMY 22 30 A man shall not take his father's wife, NOR discover his father's skirt. DEUTERONOMY 23 6 Thou shalt not seek their peace NOR their prosperity all thy days for ever. 17 There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel, NOR a sodomite of the sons of Israel. DEUTERONOMY 24 17 Thou shalt not pervert the judgment of the stranger, NOR of the fatherless; NOR take a widow's raiment to pledge: DEUTERONOMY 26 14 I have not eaten thereof in my mourning, neither have I taken away ought thereof for any unclean use, NOR given ought thereof for the dead: but I have hearkened to the voice of the LORD my God, and have done according to all that thou hast commanded me. DEUTERONOMY 28 10 And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the LORD; and they shall be AFRAID of thee. 36 The LORD shall bring thee, and thy king which thou shalt set over thee, unto a nation which neither thou NOR thy fathers have known; and there shalt thou serve other gods, wood and stone. 39 Thou shalt plant vineyards, and dress them, but shalt neither drink of the wine, NOR gather the grapes; for the worms shall eat them. 50 A nation of fierce countenance, which shall not regard the person of the old, NOR shew favour to the young: 60 Moreover he will bring upon thee all the diseases of Egypt, which thou wast AFRAID of; and they shall cleave unto thee. 64 And the LORD shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; and there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou NOR thy fathers have known, even wood and stone. DEUTERONOMY 29 23 And that the whole land thereof is brimstone, and salt, and burning, that it is not sown, NOR beareth, NOR any grass groweth therein, like the overthrow of Sodom, and Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboim, which the LORD overthrew in his anger, and in his wrath: DEUTERONOMY 31 6 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, NOR be AFRAID of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, NOR forsake thee. DEUTERONOMY 33 9 Who said unto his father and to his mother, I have not seen him; neither did he acknowledge his brethren, NOR knew his own children: for they have observed thy word, and kept thy covenant. DEUTERONOMY 34 7 And Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, NOR his natural force abated. JOSHUA 1 5 There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, NOR forsake thee. 9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not AFRAID, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. JOSHUA 6 10 And Joshua had commanded the people, saying, Ye shall not shout, NOR make any noise with your voice, neither shall any word proceed out of your mouth, until the day I bid you shout; then shall ye shout. JOSHUA 9 24 And they answered Joshua, and said, Because it was certainly told thy servants, how that the LORD thy God commanded his servant Moses to give you all the land, and to destroy all the inhabitants of the land from before you, therefore we were sore AFRAID of our lives because of you, and have done this thing. JOSHUA 10 25 And Joshua said unto them, Fear not, NOR be dismayed, be strong and of good courage: for thus shall the LORD do to all your enemies against whom ye fight. JOSHUA 11 6 And the LORD said unto Joshua, Be not AFRAID because of them: for to morrow about this time will I deliver them up all slain before Israel: thou shalt hough their horses, and burn their chariots with fire. JOSHUA 13 13 Nevertheless the children of Israel expelled not the Geshurites, NOR the Maachathites: but the Geshurites and the Maachathites dwell among the Israelites until this day. JOSHUA 22 19 Notwithstanding, if the land of your possession be unclean, then pass ye over unto the land of the possession of the LORD, wherein the LORD's tabernacle dwelleth, and take possession among us: but rebel not against the LORD, NOR rebel against us, in building you an altar beside the altar of the LORD our God. 26 Therefore we said, Let us now prepare to build us an altar, not for burnt offering, NOR for sacrifice: 28 Therefore said we, that it shall be, when they should so say to us or to our generations in time to come, that we may say again, Behold the pattern of the altar of the LORD, which our fathers made, not for burnt offerings, NOR for sacrifices; but it is a witness between us and you. JOSHUA 23 7 That ye come not among these nations, these that remain among you; neither make mention of the name of their gods, NOR cause to swear by them, neither serve them, NOR bow yourselves unto them: JOSHUA 24 12 And I sent the hornet before you, which drave them out from before you, even the two kings of the Amorites; but not with thy sword, NOR with thy bow. 19 And Joshua said unto the people, Ye cannot serve the LORD: for he is an holy God; he is a jealous God; he will not forgive your transgressions NOR your sins. JUDGES 1 27 Neither did Manasseh drive out the inhabitants of Bethshean and her towns, NOR Taanach and her towns, NOR the inhabitants of Dor and her towns, NOR the inhabitants of Ibleam and her towns, NOR the inhabitants of Megiddo and her towns: but the Canaanites would dwell in that land. 30 Neither did Zebulun drive out the inhabitants of Kitron, NOR the inhabitants of Nahalol; but the Canaanites dwelt among them, and became tributaries. 31 Neither did Asher drive out the inhabitants of Accho, NOR the inhabitants of Zidon, NOR of Ahlab, NOR of Achzib, NOR of Helbah, NOR of Aphik, NOR of Rehob: 33 Neither did Naphtali drive out the inhabitants of Bethshemesh, NOR the inhabitants of Bethanath; but he dwelt among the Canaanites, the inhabitants of the land: nevertheless the inhabitants of Bethshemesh and of Bethanath became tributaries unto them. JUDGES 2 10 And also all that generation were gathered unto their fathers: and there arose another generation after them, which knew not the LORD, NOR yet the works which he had done for Israel. 19 And it came to pass, when the judge was dead, that they returned, and corrupted themselves more than their fathers, in following other gods to serve them, and to bow down unto them; they ceased not from their own doings, NOR from their stubborn way. JUDGES 6 4 And they encamped against them, and destroyed the increase of the earth, till thou come unto Gaza, and left no sustenance for Israel, neither sheep, NOR ox, NOR ass. JUDGES 7 3 Now therefore go to, proclaim in the ears of the people, saying, Whosoever is fearful and AFRAID, let him return and depart early from mount Gilead. And there returned of the people twenty and two thousand; and there remained ten thousand. JUDGES 11 15 And said unto him, Thus saith Jephthah, Israel took not away the land of Moab, NOR the land of the children of Ammon: 34 And Jephthah came to Mizpeh unto his house, and, behold, his daughter came out to meet him with timbrels and with dances: and she was his only child; beside her he had neither son NOR daughter. JUDGES 13 4 Now therefore beware, I pray thee, and drink not wine NOR strong drink, and eat not any unclean thing: 7 But he said unto me, Behold, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and now drink no wine NOR strong drink, neither eat any unclean thing: for the child shall be a Nazarite to God from the womb to the day of his death. 14 She may not eat of any thing that cometh of the vine, neither let her drink wine or strong drink, NOR eat any unclean thing: all that I commanded her let her observe. 23 But his wife said unto him, If the LORD were pleased to kill us, he would not have received a burnt offering and a meat offering at our hands, neither would he have shewed us all these things, NOR would as at this time have told us such things as these. --MORE-- |
