JOSHUA 6 10 And Joshua had commanded the people, saying, Ye shall not shout, NOR make any noise with your voice, neither shall any word proceed out of your mouth, until the day I bid you shout; then shall ye shout. JOSHUA 9 24 And they answered Joshua, and said, Because it was certainly told thy servants, how that the LORD thy God commanded his servant Moses to give you all the land, and to destroy all the inhabitants of the land from before you, therefore we were sore AFRAID of our lives because of you, and have done this thing. JOSHUA 10 25 And Joshua said unto them, Fear not, NOR be dismayed, be strong and of good courage: for thus shall the LORD do to all your enemies against whom ye fight. JOSHUA 11 6 And the LORD said unto Joshua, Be not AFRAID because of them: for to morrow about this time will I deliver them up all slain before Israel: thou shalt hough their horses, and burn their chariots with fire. JOSHUA 13 13 Nevertheless the children of Israel expelled not the Geshurites, NOR the Maachathites: but the Geshurites and the Maachathites dwell among the Israelites until this day. JOSHUA 22 19 Notwithstanding, if the land of your possession be unclean, then pass ye over unto the land of the possession of the LORD, wherein the LORD's tabernacle dwelleth, and take possession among us: but rebel not against the LORD, NOR rebel against us, in building you an altar beside the altar of the LORD our God. 26 Therefore we said, Let us now prepare to build us an altar, not for burnt offering, NOR for sacrifice: 28 Therefore said we, that it shall be, when they should so say to us or to our generations in time to come, that we may say again, Behold the pattern of the altar of the LORD, which our fathers made, not for burnt offerings, NOR for sacrifices; but it is a witness between us and you. JOSHUA 23 7 That ye come not among these nations, these that remain among you; neither make mention of the name of their gods, NOR cause to swear by them, neither serve them, NOR bow yourselves unto them: JOSHUA 24 12 And I sent the hornet before you, which drave them out from before you, even the two kings of the Amorites; but not with thy sword, NOR with thy bow. 19 And Joshua said unto the people, Ye cannot serve the LORD: for he is an holy God; he is a jealous God; he will not forgive your transgressions NOR your sins. JUDGES 1 27 Neither did Manasseh drive out the inhabitants of Bethshean and her towns, NOR Taanach and her towns, NOR the inhabitants of Dor and her towns, NOR the inhabitants of Ibleam and her towns, NOR the inhabitants of Megiddo and her towns: but the Canaanites would dwell in that land. 30 Neither did Zebulun drive out the inhabitants of Kitron, NOR the inhabitants of Nahalol; but the Canaanites dwelt among them, and became tributaries. 31 Neither did Asher drive out the inhabitants of Accho, NOR the inhabitants of Zidon, NOR of Ahlab, NOR of Achzib, NOR of Helbah, NOR of Aphik, NOR of Rehob: 33 Neither did Naphtali drive out the inhabitants of Bethshemesh, NOR the inhabitants of Bethanath; but he dwelt among the Canaanites, the inhabitants of the land: nevertheless the inhabitants of Bethshemesh and of Bethanath became tributaries unto them. JUDGES 2 10 And also all that generation were gathered unto their fathers: and there arose another generation after them, which knew not the LORD, NOR yet the works which he had done for Israel. 19 And it came to pass, when the judge was dead, that they returned, and corrupted themselves more than their fathers, in following other gods to serve them, and to bow down unto them; they ceased not from their own doings, NOR from their stubborn way. JUDGES 6 4 And they encamped against them, and destroyed the increase of the earth, till thou come unto Gaza, and left no sustenance for Israel, neither sheep, NOR ox, NOR ass. JUDGES 7 3 Now therefore go to, proclaim in the ears of the people, saying, Whosoever is fearful and AFRAID, let him return and depart early from mount Gilead. And there returned of the people twenty and two thousand; and there remained ten thousand. JUDGES 11 15 And said unto him, Thus saith Jephthah, Israel took not away the land of Moab, NOR the land of the children of Ammon: 34 And Jephthah came to Mizpeh unto his house, and, behold, his daughter came out to meet him with timbrels and with dances: and she was his only child; beside her he had neither son NOR daughter. JUDGES 13 4 Now therefore beware, I pray thee, and drink not wine NOR strong drink, and eat not any unclean thing: 7 But he said unto me, Behold, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and now drink no wine NOR strong drink, neither eat any unclean thing: for the child shall be a Nazarite to God from the womb to the day of his death. 14 She may not eat of any thing that cometh of the vine, neither let her drink wine or strong drink, NOR eat any unclean thing: all that I commanded her let her observe. 23 But his wife said unto him, If the LORD were pleased to kill us, he would not have received a burnt offering and a meat offering at our hands, neither would he have shewed us all these things, NOR would as at this time have told us such things as these. JUDGES 14 16 And Samson's wife wept before him, and said, Thou dost but hate me, and lovest me not: thou hast put forth a riddle unto the children of my people, and hast not told it me. And he said unto her, Behold, I have not told it my father NOR my mother, and shall I tell it thee? JUDGES 19 30 And it was so, that all that saw it said, There was no such deed done NOR seen from the day that the children of Israel came up out of the land of Egypt unto this day: consider of it, take advice, and speak your minds. RUTH 3 8 And it came to pass at midnight, that the man was AFRAID, and turned himself: and, behold, a woman lay at his feet. 1 SAMUEL 1 15 And Hannah answered and said, No, my lord, I am a woman of a sorrowful spirit: I have drunk neither wine NOR strong drink, but have poured out my soul before the LORD. 1 SAMUEL 3 14 And therefore I have sworn unto the house of Eli, that the iniquity of Eli's house shall not be purged with sacrifice NOR offering for ever. 1 SAMUEL 4 7 And the Philistines were AFRAID, for they said, God is come into the camp. And they said, Woe unto us! for there hath not been such a thing heretofore. 1 SAMUEL 5 5 Therefore neither the priests of Dagon, NOR any that come into Dagon's house, tread on the threshold of Dagon in Ashdod unto this day. 1 SAMUEL 7 7 And when the Philistines heard that the children of Israel were gathered together to Mizpeh, the lords of the Philistines went up against Israel. And when the children of Israel heard it, they were AFRAID of the Philistines. 1 SAMUEL 12 4 And they said, Thou hast not defrauded us, NOR oppressed us, neither hast thou taken ought of any man's hand. 21 And turn ye not aside: for then should ye go after vain things, which cannot profit NOR deliver; for they are vain. 1 SAMUEL 13 22 So it came to pass in the day of battle, that there was neither sword NOR spear found in the hand of any of the people that were with Saul and Jonathan: but with Saul and with Jonathan his son was there found. 1 SAMUEL 15 29 And also the Strength of Israel will not lie NOR repent: for he is not a man, that he should repent. 1 SAMUEL 17 11 When Saul and all Israel heard those words of the Philistine, they were dismayed, and greatly AFRAID. 24 And all the men of Israel, when they saw the man, fled from him, and were sore AFRAID. 1 SAMUEL 18 12 And Saul was AFRAID of David, because the LORD was with him, and was departed from Saul. 15 Wherefore when Saul saw that he behaved himself very wisely, he was AFRAID of him. 29 And Saul was yet the more AFRAID of David; and Saul became David's enemy continually. 1 SAMUEL 20 27 And it came to pass on the morrow, which was the second day of the month, that David's place was empty: and Saul said unto Jonathan his son, Wherefore cometh not the son of Jesse to meat, neither yesterday, NOR to day? 31 For as long as the son of Jesse liveth upon the ground, thou shalt not be established, NOR thy kingdom. Wherefore now send and fetch him unto me, for he shall surely die. 1 SAMUEL 21 1 Then came David to Nob to Ahimelech the priest: and Ahimelech was AFRAID at the meeting of David, and said unto him, Why art thou alone, and no man with thee? 8 And David said unto Ahimelech, And is there not here under thine hand spear or sword? for I have neither brought my sword NOR my weapons with me, because the king's business required haste. 12 And David laid up these words in his heart, and was sore AFRAID of Achish the king of Gath. 1 SAMUEL 22 15 Did I then begin to enquire of God for him? be it far from me: let not the king impute any thing unto his servant, NOR to all the house of my father: for thy servant knew nothing of all this, less or more. 1 SAMUEL 23 3 And David's men said unto him, Behold, we be AFRAID here in Judah: how much more then if we come to Keilah against the armies of the Philistines? 1 SAMUEL 24 11 Moreover, my father, see, yea, see the skirt of thy robe in my hand: for in that I cut off the skirt of thy robe, and killed thee not, know thou and see that there is neither evil NOR transgression in mine hand, and I have not sinned against thee; yet thou huntest my soul to take it. --MORE-- |
