JUDGES 13 4 Now therefore beware, I pray thee, and drink not wine NOR strong drink, and eat not any unclean thing: 7 But he said unto me, Behold, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and now drink no wine NOR strong drink, neither eat any unclean thing: for the child shall be a Nazarite to God from the womb to the day of his death. 14 She may not eat of any thing that cometh of the vine, neither let her drink wine or strong drink, NOR eat any unclean thing: all that I commanded her let her observe. 23 But his wife said unto him, If the LORD were pleased to kill us, he would not have received a burnt offering and a meat offering at our hands, neither would he have shewed us all these things, NOR would as at this time have told us such things as these. And the woman said unto Saul, I saw gods ascending out of the earth. 15 And Samuel said to Saul, Why hast thou disquieted me, to bring me up? And Saul answered, I am sore distressed; for the Philistines make war against me, and God is departed from me, and answereth me no more, neither by prophets, NOR by dreams: therefore I have called thee, that thou mayest make known unto me what I shall do. 18 Because thou obeyedst not the voice of the LORD, NOR executedst his fierce wrath upon Amalek, therefore hath the LORD done this thing unto thee this day. 20 Then Saul fell straightway all along on the earth, and was sore AFRAID, because of the words of Samuel: and there was no strength in him; for he had eaten no bread all the day, NOR all the night. 1 SAMUEL 30 12 And they gave him a piece of a cake of figs, and two clusters of raisins: and when he had eaten, his spirit came again to him: for he had eaten no bread, NOR drunk any water, three days and three nights. 15 And David said to him, Canst thou bring me down to this company? And he said, Swear unto me by God, that thou wilt neither kill me, NOR deliver me into the hands of my master, and I will bring thee down to this company. 19 And there was nothing lacking to them, neither small NOR great, neither sons NOR daughters, neither spoil, NOR any thing that they had taken to them: David recovered all. 1 SAMUEL 31 4 Then said Saul unto his armourbearer, Draw thy sword, and thrust me through therewith; lest these uncircumcised come and thrust me through, and abuse me. But his armourbearer would not; for he was sore AFRAID. Therefore Saul took a sword, and fell upon it. 2 SAMUEL 1 14 And David said unto him, How wast thou not AFRAID to stretch forth thine hand to destroy the LORD's anointed? 21 Ye mountains of Gilboa, let there be no dew, neither let there be rain, upon you, NOR fields of offerings: for there the shield of the mighty is vilely cast away, the shield of Saul, as though he had not been anointed with oil. 2 SAMUEL 2 19 And Asahel pursued after Abner; and in going he turned not to the right hand NOR to the left from following Abner. 2 SAMUEL 3 34 Thy hands were not bound, NOR thy feet put into fetters: as a man falleth before wicked men, so fellest thou.
