JUDGES 5 17 Gilead ABODE beyond Jordan: and why did Dan remain in ships? Asher continued on the sea shore, and ABODE in his breaches. JUDGES 7 3 Now therefore go to, proclaim in the ears of the people, saying, Whosoever is fearful and AFRAID, let him return and depart early from mount Gilead. And there returned of the people twenty and two thousand; and there remained ten thousand. JUDGES 11 17 Then Israel sent messengers unto the king of Edom, saying, Let me, I pray thee, pass through thy land: but the king of Edom would not hearken thereto. And in like manner they sent unto the king of Moab: but he would not consent: and Israel ABODE in Kadesh. JUDGES 19 4 And his father in law, the damsel's father, retained him; and he ABODE with him three days: so they did eat and drink, and lodged there. 30 And it was so, that all that saw it said, There was no such deed done nor seen from the day that the children of Israel came up out of the land of Egypt unto this day: consider of it, take ADVICE, and speak your minds. JUDGES 20 7 Behold, ye are all children of Israel; give here your ADVICE and counsel. 47 But six hundred men turned and fled to the wilderness unto the rock Rimmon, and ABODE in the rock Rimmon four months. JUDGES 21 2 And the people came to the house of God, and ABODE there till even before God, and lifted up their voices, and wept sore; RUTH 3 8 And it came to pass at midnight, that the man was AFRAID, and turned himself: and, behold, a woman lay at his feet. 1 SAMUEL 1 23 And Elkanah her husband said unto her, Do what seemeth thee good; tarry until thou have weaned him; only the LORD establish his word. So the woman ABODE, and gave her son suck until she weaned him. 1 SAMUEL 4 7 And the Philistines were AFRAID, for they said, God is come into the camp. And they said, Woe unto us! for there hath not been such a thing heretofore. 1 SAMUEL 7 2 And it came to pass, while the ark ABODE in Kirjathjearim, that the time was long; for it was twenty years: and all the house of Israel lamented after the LORD. 7 And when the Philistines heard that the children of Israel were gathered together to Mizpeh, the lords of the Philistines went up against Israel. And when the children of Israel heard it, they were AFRAID of the Philistines. 1 SAMUEL 13 16 And Saul, and Jonathan his son, and the people that were present with them, ABODE in Gibeah of Benjamin: but the Philistines encamped in Michmash. 1 SAMUEL 17 11 When Saul and all Israel heard those words of the Philistine, they were dismayed, and greatly AFRAID. 24 And all the men of Israel, when they saw the man, fled from him, and were sore AFRAID. 1 SAMUEL 18 12 And Saul was AFRAID of David, because the LORD was with him, and was departed from Saul. 15 Wherefore when Saul saw that he behaved himself very wisely, he was AFRAID of him. 29 And Saul was yet the more AFRAID of David; and Saul became David's enemy continually. 1 SAMUEL 21 1 Then came David to Nob to Ahimelech the priest: and Ahimelech was AFRAID at the meeting of David, and said unto him, Why art thou alone, and no man with thee? 12 And David laid up these words in his heart, and was sore AFRAID of Achish the king of Gath. 1 SAMUEL 22 6 When Saul heard that David was discovered, and the men that were with him, (now Saul ABODE in Gibeah under a tree in Ramah, having his spear in his hand, and all his servants were standing about him;) 1 SAMUEL 23 3 And David's men said unto him, Behold, we be AFRAID here in Judah: how much more then if we come to Keilah against the armies of the Philistines? 14 And David ABODE in the wilderness in strong holds, and remained in a mountain in the wilderness of Ziph. And Saul sought him every day, but God delivered him not into his hand. 18 And they two made a covenant before the LORD: and David ABODE in the wood, and Jonathan went to his house. 25 Saul also and his men went to seek him. And they told David; wherefore he came down into a rock, and ABODE in the wilderness of Maon. And when Saul heard that, he pursued after David in the wilderness of Maon. 1 SAMUEL 25 13 And David said unto his men, Gird ye on every man his sword. And they girded on every man his sword; and David also girded on his sword: and there went up after David about four hundred men; and two hundred ABODE by the stuff. 33 And blessed be thy ADVICE, and blessed be thou, which hast kept me this day from coming to shed blood, and from avenging myself with mine own hand. 1 SAMUEL 26 3 And Saul pitched in the hill of Hachilah, which is before Jeshimon, by the way. But David ABODE in the wilderness, and he saw that Saul came after him into the wilderness. 6 Then answered David and said to Ahimelech the Hittite, and to ABISHAI the son of Zeruiah, brother to Joab, saying, Who will go down with me to Saul to the camp? And ABISHAI said, I will go down with thee. 7 So David and ABISHAI came to the people by night: and, behold, Saul lay sleeping within the trench, and his spear stuck in the ground at his bolster: but Abner and the people lay round about him. 8 Then said ABISHAI to David, God hath delivered thine enemy into thine hand this day: now therefore let me smite him, I pray thee, with the spear even to the earth at once, and I will not smite him the second time. 9 And David said to ABISHAI, Destroy him not: for who can stretch forth his hand against the LORD's anointed, and be guiltless? 1 SAMUEL 28 5 And when Saul saw the host of the Philistines, he was AFRAID, and his heart greatly trembled. 13 And the king said unto her, Be not AFRAID: for what sawest thou? And the woman said unto Saul, I saw gods ascending out of the earth. 20 Then Saul fell straightway all along on the earth, and was sore AFRAID, because of the words of Samuel: and there was no strength in him; for he had eaten no bread all the day, nor all the night. 1 SAMUEL 30 10 But David pursued, he and four hundred men: for two hundred ABODE behind, which were so faint that they could not go over the brook Besor. 1 SAMUEL 31 4 Then said Saul unto his armourbearer, Draw thy sword, and thrust me through therewith; lest these uncircumcised come and thrust me through, and abuse me. But his armourbearer would not; for he was sore AFRAID. Therefore Saul took a sword, and fell upon it. 2 SAMUEL 1 1 Now it came to pass after the death of Saul, when David was returned from the slaughter of the Amalekites, and David had ABODE two days in Ziklag; 14 And David said unto him, How wast thou not AFRAID to stretch forth thine hand to destroy the LORD's anointed? 2 SAMUEL 2 18 And there were three sons of Zeruiah there, Joab, and ABISHAI, and Asahel: and Asahel was as light of foot as a wild roe. 24 Joab also and ABISHAI pursued after Abner: and the sun went down when they were come to the hill of Ammah, that lieth before Giah by the way of the wilderness of Gibeon. 2 SAMUEL 3 30 So Joab, and ABISHAI his brother slew Abner, because he had slain their brother Asahel at Gibeon in the battle. 2 SAMUEL 6 9 And David was AFRAID of the LORD that day, and said, How shall the ark of the LORD come to me? 2 SAMUEL 10 10 And the rest of the people he delivered into the hand of ABISHAI his brother, that he might put them in array against the children of Ammon. 14 And when the children of Ammon saw that the Syrians were fled, then fled they also before ABISHAI, and entered into the city. So Joab returned from the children of Ammon, and came to Jerusalem. 2 SAMUEL 11 12 And David said to Uriah, Tarry here to day also, and to morrow I will let thee depart.
