ECCLESIASTES 1 6 The wind goeth toward the south, and turneth about unto the NORTH; it whirleth about continually, and the wind returneth again according to his circuits. JEREMIAH 2 12 Be astonished, O ye heavens, at this, and be horribly AFRAID, be ye very desolate, saith the LORD. JEREMIAH 3 12 Go and proclaim these words toward the NORTH, and say, Return, thou backsliding Israel, saith the LORD; and I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you: for I am merciful, saith the LORD, and I will not keep anger for ever. 18 In those days the house of Judah shall walk with the house of Israel, and they shall come together out of the land of the NORTH to the land that I have given for an inheritance unto your fathers. JEREMIAH 4 6 Set up the standard toward Zion: retire, stay not: for I will bring evil from the NORTH, and a great destruction. JEREMIAH 6 1 O ye children of Benjamin, gather yourselves to flee out of the midst of Jerusalem, and blow the trumpet in Tekoa, and set up a sign of fire in Bethhaccerem: for evil appeareth out of the NORTH, and great destruction. 22 Thus saith the LORD, Behold, a people cometh from the NORTH country, and a great nation shall be raised from the sides of the earth. JEREMIAH 10 5 They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not AFRAID of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good. 22 Behold, the noise of the bruit is come, and a great commotion out of the NORTH country, to make the cities of Judah desolate, and a den of dragons. JEREMIAH 13 20 Lift up your eyes, and behold them that come from the NORTH: where is the flock that was given thee, thy beautiful flock? JEREMIAH 16 15 But, The LORD liveth, that brought up the children of Israel from the land of the NORTH, and from all the lands whither he had driven them: and I will bring them again into their land that I gave unto their fathers. JEREMIAH 26 21 And when Jehoiakim the king, with all his mighty men, and all the princes, heard his words, the king sought to put him to death: but when Urijah heard it, he was AFRAID, and fled, and went into Egypt; JEREMIAH 30 10 Therefore fear thou not, O my servant Jacob, saith the LORD; neither be dismayed, O Israel: for, lo, I will save thee from afar, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and shall be in rest, and be quiet, and none shall make him AFRAID. JEREMIAH 31 8 Behold, I will bring them from the NORTH country, and gather them from the coasts of the earth, and with them the blind and the lame, the woman with child and her that travaileth with child together: a great company shall return thither.
