1 SAMUEL 7 7 And when the Philistines heard that the children of Israel were gathered together to Mizpeh, the lords of the Philistines went up against Israel. And when the children of Israel heard it, they were AFRAID of the Philistines. 14 And the cities which the Philistines had taken from Israel were restored to Israel, from Ekron even unto Gath; and the coasts thereof did Israel deliver out of the hands of the Philistines. And there was PEACE between Israel and the Amorites. 1 SAMUEL 10 8 And thou shalt go down before me to Gilgal; and, behold, I will come down unto thee, to offer burnt offerings, and to sacrifice sacrifices of PEACE offerings: seven days shalt thou tarry, till I come to thee, and shew thee what thou shalt do. 27 But the children of Belial said, How shall this man save us? And they despised him, and brought no presents. But he held his PEACE. 1 SAMUEL 11 15 And all the people went to Gilgal; and there they made Saul king before the LORD in Gilgal; and there they sacrificed sacrifices of PEACE offerings before the LORD; and there Saul and all the men of Israel rejoiced greatly. 1 SAMUEL 13 9 And Saul said, Bring hither a burnt offering to me, and PEACE offerings. And he offered the burnt offering. 1 SAMUEL 17 11 When Saul and all Israel heard those words of the Philistine, they were dismayed, and greatly AFRAID. 24 And all the men of Israel, when they saw the man, fled from him, and were sore AFRAID. 1 SAMUEL 18 12 And Saul was AFRAID of David, because the LORD was with him, and was departed from Saul. 15 Wherefore when Saul saw that he behaved himself very wisely, he was AFRAID of him. 29 And Saul was yet the more AFRAID of David; and Saul became David's enemy continually. 1 SAMUEL 20 7 If he say thus, It is well; thy servant shall have PEACE: but if he be very wroth, then be sure that evil is determined by him. 13 The LORD do so and much more to Jonathan: but if it please my father to do thee evil, then I will shew it thee, and send thee away, that thou mayest go in PEACE: and the LORD be with thee, as he hath been with my father. 21 And, behold, I will send a lad, saying, Go, find out the arrows. If I expressly say unto the lad, Behold, the arrows are on this side of thee, take them; then come thou: for there is PEACE to thee, and no hurt; as the LORD liveth. 42 And Jonathan said to David, Go in PEACE, forasmuch as we have sworn both of us in the name of the LORD, saying, The LORD be between me and thee, and between my seed and thy seed for ever. And he arose and departed: and Jonathan went into the city. 1 SAMUEL 21 1 Then came David to Nob to Ahimelech the priest: and Ahimelech was AFRAID at the meeting of David, and said unto him, Why art thou alone, and no man with thee? 12 And David laid up these words in his heart, and was sore AFRAID of Achish the king of Gath. 1 SAMUEL 23 3 And David's men said unto him, Behold, we be AFRAID here in Judah: how much more then if we come to Keilah against the armies of the Philistines? 1 SAMUEL 25 6 And thus shall ye say to him that liveth in prosperity, PEACE be both to thee, and PEACE be to thine house, and PEACE be unto all that thou hast. 35 So David received of her hand that which she had brought him, and said unto her, Go up in PEACE to thine house; see, I have hearkened to thy voice, and have accepted thy person. 1 SAMUEL 28 5 And when Saul saw the host of the Philistines, he was AFRAID, and his heart greatly trembled. 13 And the king said unto her, Be not AFRAID: for what sawest thou? And the woman said unto Saul, I saw gods ascending out of the earth. 20 Then Saul fell straightway all along on the earth, and was sore AFRAID, because of the words of Samuel: and there was no strength in him; for he had eaten no bread all the day, nor all the night. 1 SAMUEL 29 7 Wherefore now return, and go in PEACE, that thou displease not the lords of the Philistines. 1 SAMUEL 31 4 Then said Saul unto his armourbearer, Draw thy sword, and thrust me through therewith; lest these uncircumcised come and thrust me through, and abuse me. But his armourbearer would not; for he was sore AFRAID. Therefore Saul took a sword, and fell upon it. 2 SAMUEL 1 14 And David said unto him, How wast thou not AFRAID to stretch forth thine hand to destroy the LORD's anointed? 2 SAMUEL 3 21 And Abner said unto David, I will arise and go, and will gather all Israel unto my lord the king, that they may make a league with thee, and that thou mayest reign over all that thine heart desireth. And David sent Abner away; and he went in PEACE. 22 And, behold, the servants of David and Joab came from pursuing a troop, and brought in a great spoil with them: but Abner was not with David in Hebron; for he had sent him away, and he was gone in PEACE. 23 When Joab and all the host that was with him were come, they told Joab, saying, Abner the son of Ner came to the king, and he hath sent him away, and he is gone in PEACE. 2 SAMUEL 6 9 And David was AFRAID of the LORD that day, and said, How shall the ark of the LORD come to me? 17 And they brought in the ark of the LORD, and set it in his place, in the midst of the tabernacle that David had pitched for it: and David offered burnt offerings and PEACE offerings before the LORD. 18 And as soon as David had made an end of offering burnt offerings and PEACE offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the LORD of hosts. 2 SAMUEL 10 19 And when all the kings that were servants to Hadarezer saw that they were smitten before Israel, they made PEACE with Israel, and served them. So the Syrians feared to help the children of Ammon any more. 2 SAMUEL 13 20 And Absalom her brother said unto her, Hath Amnon thy brother been with thee? but hold now thy PEACE, my sister: he is thy brother; regard not this thing. So Tamar remained desolate in her brother Absalom's house. 2 SAMUEL 14 15 Now therefore that I am come to speak of this thing unto my lord the king, it is because the people have made me AFRAID: and thy handmaid said, I will now speak unto the king; it may be that the king will perform the request of his handmaid. 2 SAMUEL 15 9 And the king said unto him, Go in PEACE. So he arose, and went to Hebron. 27 The king said also unto Zadok the priest, Art not thou a seer? return into the city in PEACE, and your two sons with you, Ahimaaz thy son, and Jonathan the son of Abiathar. 2 SAMUEL 17 2 And I will come upon him while he is weary and weak handed, and will make him AFRAID: and all the people that are with him shall flee; and I will smite the king only: 3 And I will bring back all the people unto thee: the man whom thou seekest is as if all returned: so all the people shall be in PEACE. 2 SAMUEL 19 24 And Mephibosheth the son of Saul came down to meet the king, and had neither dressed his feet, nor trimmed his beard, nor washed his clothes, from the day the king departed until the day he came again in PEACE. 30 And Mephibosheth said unto the king, Yea, let him take all, forasmuch as my lord the king is come again in PEACE unto his own house. 2 SAMUEL 22 5 When the waves of death compassed me, the floods of ungodly men made me AFRAID; 46 Strangers shall fade away, and they shall be AFRAID out of their close places. 2 SAMUEL 24 25 And David built there an altar unto the LORD, and offered burnt offerings and PEACE offerings. So the LORD was intreated for the land, and the plague was stayed from Israel. 1 KINGS 1 49 And all the guests that were with Adonijah were AFRAID, and rose up, and went every man his way. 1 KINGS 2 5 Moreover thou knowest also what Joab the son of Zeruiah did to me, and what he did to the two captains of the hosts of Israel, unto Abner the son of Ner, and unto Amasa the son of Jether, whom he slew, and shed the blood of war in PEACE, and put the blood of war upon his girdle that was about his loins, and in his shoes that were on his feet. 6 Do therefore according to thy wisdom, and let not his hoar head go down to the grave in PEACE. 33 Their blood shall therefore return upon the head of Joab, and upon the head of his seed for ever: but upon David, and upon his seed, and upon his house, and upon his throne, shall there be PEACE for ever from the LORD. 1 KINGS 3 15 And Solomon awoke; and, behold, it was a dream. And he came to Jerusalem, and stood before the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and offered up burnt offerings, and offered PEACE offerings, and made a feast to all his servants. 1 KINGS 4 24 For he had dominion over all the region on this side the river, from Tiphsah even to Azzah, over all the kings on this side the river: and he had PEACE on all sides round about him. --MORE-- |
