GENESIS 15 17 And it came to pass, that, when the sun went down, and it was dark, behold a smoking FURNACE, and a burning lamp that passed between those pieces. GENESIS 19 28 And he looked toward Sodom and Gomorrah, and toward all the land of the plain, and beheld, and, lo, the smoke of the country went up as the smoke of a FURNACE. EXODUS 9 8 And the LORD said unto Moses and unto Aaron, Take to you handfuls of ashes of the FURNACE, and let Moses sprinkle it toward the heaven in the sight of Pharaoh. 10 And they took ashes of the FURNACE, and stood before Pharaoh; and Moses sprinkled it up toward heaven; and it became a boil breaking forth with blains upon man, and upon beast. EXODUS 19 18 And mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because the LORD descended upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a FURNACE, and the whole mount quaked greatly. DEUTERONOMY 4 20 But the LORD hath taken you, and brought you forth out of the iron FURNACE, even out of Egypt, to be unto him a people of inheritance, as ye are this day. DEUTERONOMY 18 4 The firstfruit also of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the first of the FLEECE of thy sheep, shalt thou give him. JUDGES 6 37 Behold, I will put a FLEECE of wool in the floor; and if the dew be on the FLEECE only, and it be dry upon all the earth beside, then shall I know that thou wilt save Israel by mine hand, as thou hast said. 38 And it was so: for he rose up early on the morrow, and thrust the FLEECE together, and wringed the dew out of the FLEECE, a bowl full of water. 39 And Gideon said unto God, Let not thine anger be hot against me, and I will speak but this once: let me prove, I pray thee, but this once with the FLEECE; let it now be dry only upon the FLEECE, and upon all the ground let there be dew. 40 And God did so that night: for it was dry upon the FLEECE only, and there was dew on all the ground. 1 KINGS 8 51 For they be thy people, and thine inheritance, which thou broughtest forth out of Egypt, from the midst of the FURNACE of iron: JOB 31 20 If his loins have not blessed me, and if he were not warmed with the FLEECE of my sheep; PSALM 12 6 The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a FURNACE of earth, purified seven times. PSALM 35 25 Let them not say in their hearts, AH, so would we have it: let them not say, We have swallowed him up. PSALM 57 7 My heart is FIXED, O God, my heart is FIXED: I will sing and give praise. PSALM 108 1 O God, my heart is FIXED; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory. PSALM 112 7 He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is FIXED, trusting in the LORD. PROVERBS 17 3 The fining pot is for silver, and the FURNACE for gold: but the LORD trieth the hearts. PROVERBS 27 21 As the fining pot for silver, and the FURNACE for gold; so is a man to his praise. ISAIAH 1 4 AH sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward. 24 Therefore saith the LORD, the LORD of hosts, the mighty One of Israel, AH, I will ease me of mine adversaries, and avenge me of mine enemies: ISAIAH 31 9 And he shall pass over to his strong hold for fear, and his princes shall be afraid of the ensign, saith the LORD, whose fire is in Zion, and his FURNACE in Jerusalem. ISAIAH 48 10 Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the FURNACE of affliction. JEREMIAH 1 6 Then said I, AH, Lord GOD! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child. JEREMIAH 4 10 Then said I, AH, Lord GOD! surely thou hast greatly deceived this people and Jerusalem, saying, Ye shall have peace; whereas the sword reacheth unto the soul. JEREMIAH 11 4 Which I commanded your fathers in the day that I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, from the iron FURNACE, saying, Obey my voice, and do them, according to all which I command you: so shall ye be my people, and I will be your God: JEREMIAH 14 13 Then said I, AH, Lord GOD! behold, the prophets say unto them, Ye shall not see the sword, neither shall ye have famine; but I will give you assured peace in this place. JEREMIAH 22 18 Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah; They shall not lament for him, saying, AH my brother! or, AH sister! they shall not lament for him, saying, AH lord! or, AH his glory! JEREMIAH 32 17 AH Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee: JEREMIAH 34 5 But thou shalt die in peace: and with the burnings of thy fathers, the former kings which were before thee, so shall they burn odours for thee; and they will lament thee, saying, AH lord! for I have pronounced the word, saith the LORD. EZEKIEL 4 14 Then said I, AH Lord GOD! behold, my soul hath not been polluted: for from my youth up even till now have I not eaten of that which dieth of itself, or is torn in pieces; neither came there abominable flesh into my mouth. EZEKIEL 9 8 And it came to pass, while they were slaying them, and I was left, that I fell upon my face, and cried, and said, AH Lord GOD! wilt thou destroy all the residue of Israel in thy pouring out of thy fury upon Jerusalem? EZEKIEL 11 13 And it came to pass, when I prophesied, that Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then fell I down upon my face, and cried with a loud voice, and said, AH Lord GOD! wilt thou make a full end of the remnant of Israel? EZEKIEL 20 49 Then said I, AH Lord GOD! they say of me, Doth he not speak parables? EZEKIEL 21 15 I have set the point of the sword against all their gates, that their heart may faint, and their ruins be multiplied: AH! it is made bright, it is wrapped up for the slaughter. EZEKIEL 22 18 Son of man, the house of Israel is to me become dross: all they are brass, and tin, and iron, and lead, in the midst of the FURNACE; they are even the dross of silver. 20 As they gather silver, and brass, and iron, and lead, and tin, into the midst of the FURNACE, to blow the fire upon it, to melt it; so will I gather you in mine anger and in my fury, and I will leave you there, and melt you. 22 As silver is melted in the midst of the FURNACE, so shall ye be melted in the midst thereof; and ye shall know that I the LORD have poured out my fury upon you. EZEKIEL 43 11 And if they be ashamed of all that they have done, shew them the form of the house, and the fashion thereof, and the goings out thereof, and the comings in thereof, and all the FORMS thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and all the FORMS thereof, and all the laws thereof: and write it in their sight, that they may keep the whole form thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and do them. DANIEL 3 6 And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery FURNACE. 11 And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth, that he should be cast into the midst of a burning fiery FURNACE. 15 Now if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the image which I have made; well: but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery FURNACE; and who is that God that shall deliver you out of my hands? 17 If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery FURNACE, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. 19 Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego: therefore he spake, and commanded that they should heat the FURNACE one seven times more than it was wont to be heated. 20 And he commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and to cast them into the burning fiery FURNACE. 21 Then these men were bound in their coats, their hosen, and their hats, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery FURNACE. 22 Therefore because the king's commandment was urgent, and the FURNACE exceeding hot, the flames of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. 23 And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery FURNACE. 26 Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery FURNACE, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, came forth of the midst of the fire. --MORE-- |
