DEUTERONOMY 1 17 Ye shall not respect persons in judgment; but ye shall hear the small as well as the great; ye shall not be AFRAID of the face of man; for the judgment is God's: and the cause that is too hard for you, bring it unto me, and I will hear it. 29 Then I said unto you, Dread not, neither be AFRAID of them. DEUTERONOMY 2 4 And command thou the people, saying, Ye are to pass through the coast of your brethren the children of Esau, which dwell in Seir; and they shall be AFRAID of you: take ye good heed unto yourselves therefore: DEUTERONOMY 4 19 And lest thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven, and when thou seest the sun, and the moon, and the stars, even all the host of heaven, shouldest be driven to worship them, and SERVE them, which the LORD thy God hath divided unto all nations under the whole heaven. 28 And there ye shall SERVE gods, the work of men's hands, wood and stone, which neither see, nor hear, nor eat, nor smell. DEUTERONOMY 5 5 (I stood between the LORD and you at that time, to shew you the word of the LORD: for ye were AFRAID by reason of the fire, and went not up into the mount;) saying, 9 Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor SERVE them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me, DEUTERONOMY 6 13 Thou shalt fear the LORD thy God, and SERVE him, and shalt swear by his name. DEUTERONOMY 7 4 For they will turn away thy son from following me, that they may SERVE other gods: so will the anger of the LORD be kindled against you, and destroy thee suddenly. 16 And thou shalt consume all the people which the LORD thy God shall deliver thee; thine eye shall have no pity upon them: neither shalt thou SERVE their gods; for that will be a snare unto thee. 18 Thou shalt not be AFRAID of them: but shalt well remember what the LORD thy God did unto Pharaoh, and unto all Egypt; 19 The great temptations which thine eyes saw, and the signs, and the wonders, and the mighty hand, and the stretched out arm, whereby the LORD thy God brought thee out: so shall the LORD thy God do unto all the people of whom thou art AFRAID. DEUTERONOMY 8 19 And it shall be, if thou do at all forget the LORD thy God, and walk after other gods, and SERVE them, and worship them, I testify against you this day that ye shall surely perish. DEUTERONOMY 9 19 For I was AFRAID of the anger and hot displeasure, wherewith the LORD was wroth against you to destroy you. But the LORD hearkened unto me at that time also. DEUTERONOMY 10 12 And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to SERVE the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul, 20 Thou shalt fear the LORD thy God; him shalt thou SERVE, and to him shalt thou cleave, and swear by his name. DEUTERONOMY 11 13 And it shall come to pass, if ye shall hearken diligently unto my commandments which I command you this day, to love the LORD your God, and to SERVE him with all your heart and with all your soul, 16 Take heed to yourselves, that your heart be not deceived, and ye turn aside, and SERVE other gods, and worship them; DEUTERONOMY 12 30 Take heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them, after that they be destroyed from before thee; and that thou enquire not after their gods, saying, How did these nations SERVE their gods? even so will I do likewise. DEUTERONOMY 13 2 And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us SERVE them; 4 Ye shall walk after the LORD your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall SERVE him, and cleave unto him. 6 If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, which is as thine own soul, entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and SERVE other gods, which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers; 13 Certain men, the children of Belial, are gone out from among you, and have withdrawn the inhabitants of their city, saying, Let us go and SERVE other gods, which ye have not known; DEUTERONOMY 15 12 And if thy brother, an Hebrew man, or an Hebrew woman, be sold unto thee, and SERVE thee six years; then in the seventh year thou shalt let him go free from thee. DEUTERONOMY 18 22 When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be AFRAID of him. DEUTERONOMY 20 1 When thou goest out to battle against thine enemies, and seest horses, and chariots, and a people more than thou, be not AFRAID of them: for the LORD thy God is with thee, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. 11 And it shall be, if it make thee answer of peace, and open unto thee, then it shall be, that all the people that is found therein shall be tributaries unto thee, and they shall SERVE thee. DEUTERONOMY 28 10 And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the LORD; and they shall be AFRAID of thee. 14 And thou shalt not go aside from any of the words which I command thee this day, to the right hand, or to the left, to go after other gods to SERVE them. 36 The LORD shall bring thee, and thy king which thou shalt set over thee, unto a nation which neither thou nor thy fathers have known; and there shalt thou SERVE other gods, wood and stone. 48 Therefore shalt thou SERVE thine enemies which the LORD shall send against thee, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in want of all things: and he shall put a yoke of iron upon thy neck, until he have destroyed thee. 60 Moreover he will bring upon thee all the diseases of Egypt, which thou wast AFRAID of; and they shall cleave unto thee. 64 And the LORD shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; and there thou shalt SERVE other gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, even wood and stone. DEUTERONOMY 29 18 Lest there should be among you man, or woman, or family, or tribe, whose heart turneth away this day from the LORD our God, to go and SERVE the gods of these nations; lest there should be among you a root that beareth gall and wormwood; DEUTERONOMY 30 17 But if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and SERVE them; DEUTERONOMY 31 6 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be AFRAID of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. 20 For when I shall have brought them into the land which I sware unto their fathers, that floweth with milk and honey; and they shall have eaten and filled themselves, and waxen fat; then will they turn unto other gods, and SERVE them, and provoke me, and break my covenant. JOSHUA 1 9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not AFRAID, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. JOSHUA 9 24 And they answered Joshua, and said, Because it was certainly told thy servants, how that the LORD thy God commanded his servant Moses to give you all the land, and to destroy all the inhabitants of the land from before you, therefore we were sore AFRAID of our lives because of you, and have done this thing. JOSHUA 11 6 And the LORD said unto Joshua, Be not AFRAID because of them: for to morrow about this time will I deliver them up all slain before Israel: thou shalt hough their horses, and burn their chariots with fire. JOSHUA 16 10 And they drave not out the Canaanites that dwelt in Gezer: but the Canaanites dwell among the Ephraimites unto this day, and SERVE under tribute. JOSHUA 22 5 But take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law, which Moses the servant of the LORD charged you, to love the LORD your God, and to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and to cleave unto him, and to SERVE him with all your heart and with all your soul. JOSHUA 23 7 That ye come not among these nations, these that remain among you; neither make mention of the name of their gods, nor cause to swear by them, neither SERVE them, nor bow yourselves unto them: JOSHUA 24 14 Now therefore fear the LORD, and SERVE him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and SERVE ye the LORD. 15 And if it seem evil unto you to SERVE the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will SERVE; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will SERVE the LORD. 16 And the people answered and said, God forbid that we should forsake the LORD, to SERVE other gods; 18 And the LORD drave out from before us all the people, even the Amorites which dwelt in the land: therefore will we also SERVE the LORD; for he is our God. 19 And Joshua said unto the people, Ye cannot SERVE the LORD: for he is an holy God; he is a jealous God; he will not forgive your transgressions nor your sins. 20 If ye forsake the LORD, and SERVE strange gods, then he will turn and do you hurt, and consume you, after that he hath done you good. 21 And the people said unto Joshua, Nay; but we will SERVE the LORD. 22 And Joshua said unto the people, Ye are witnesses against yourselves that ye have chosen you the LORD, to SERVE him. And they said, We are witnesses. 24 And the people said unto Joshua, The LORD our God will we SERVE, and his voice will we obey. --MORE-- |
