JEREMIAH 1 8 Be not AFRAID of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the LORD. 16 And I will utter my judgments against them touching all their wickedness, who have forsaken me, and have burned incense unto OTHER gods, and worshipped the works of their own hands. JEREMIAH 2 12 Be astonished, O ye heavens, at this, and be horribly AFRAID, be ye very desolate, saith the LORD. JEREMIAH 7 6 If ye oppress not the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and shed not innocent blood in this place, neither walk after OTHER gods to your hurt: 9 Will ye steal, murder, and commit adultery, and swear falsely, and burn incense unto Baal, and walk after OTHER gods whom ye know not; 18 The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto OTHER gods, that they may provoke me to anger. JEREMIAH 10 5 They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not AFRAID of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good. JEREMIAH 11 10 They are turned back to the iniquities of their forefathers, which refused to hear my words; and they went after OTHER gods to serve them: the house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken my covenant which I made with their fathers. JEREMIAH 12 12 The spoilers are come upon all high places through the wilderness: for the sword of the LORD shall devour from the one end of the land even to the OTHER end of the land: no flesh shall have peace. JEREMIAH 13 10 This evil people, which refuse to hear my words, which walk in the imagination of their heart, and walk after OTHER gods, to serve them, and to worship them, shall even be as this girdle, which is good for nothing. JEREMIAH 16 11 Then shalt thou say unto them, Because your fathers have forsaken me, saith the LORD, and have walked after OTHER gods, and have served them, and have worshipped them, and have forsaken me, and have not kept my law; 13 Therefore will I cast you out of this land into a land that ye know not, neither ye nor your fathers; and there shall ye serve OTHER gods day and night; where I will not shew you favour. JEREMIAH 19 4 Because they have forsaken me, and have estranged this place, and have burned incense in it unto OTHER gods, whom neither they nor their fathers have known, nor the kings of Judah, and have filled this place with the blood of innocents; 13 And the houses of Jerusalem, and the houses of the kings of Judah, shall be defiled as the place of Tophet, because of all the houses upon whose roofs they have burned incense unto all the host of heaven, and have poured out drink offerings unto OTHER gods. JEREMIAH 22 9 Then they shall answer, Because they have forsaken the covenant of the LORD their God, and worshipped OTHER gods, and served them. JEREMIAH 24 2 One basket had very good figs, even like the figs that are first ripe: and the OTHER basket had very naughty figs, which could not be eaten, they were so bad. JEREMIAH 25 6 And go not after OTHER gods to serve them, and to worship them, and provoke me not to anger with the works of your hands; and I will do you no hurt. 33 And the slain of the LORD shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the OTHER end of the earth: they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the ground. JEREMIAH 26 21 And when Jehoiakim the king, with all his mighty men, and all the princes, heard his words, the king sought to put him to death: but when Urijah heard it, he was AFRAID, and fled, and went into Egypt; JEREMIAH 30 10 Therefore fear thou not, O my servant Jacob, saith the LORD; neither be dismayed, O Israel: for, lo, I will save thee from afar, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and shall be in rest, and be quiet, and none shall make him AFRAID. JEREMIAH 32 20 Which hast set signs and wonders in the land of Egypt, even unto this day, and in Israel, and among OTHER men; and hast made thee a name, as at this day; 29 And the Chaldeans, that fight against this city, shall come and set fire on this city, and burn it with the houses, upon whose roofs they have offered incense unto Baal, and poured out drink offerings unto OTHER gods, to provoke me to anger. JEREMIAH 35 15 I have sent also unto you all my servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them, saying, Return ye now every man from his evil way, and amend your doings, and go not after OTHER gods to serve them, and ye shall dwell in the land which I have given to you and to your fathers: but ye have not inclined your ear, nor hearkened unto me. JEREMIAH 36 16 Now it came to pass, when they had heard all the words, they were AFRAID both one and OTHER, and said unto Baruch, We will surely tell the king of all these words. 24 Yet they were not AFRAID, nor rent their garments, neither the king, nor any of his servants that heard all these words. JEREMIAH 38 19 And Zedekiah the king said unto Jeremiah, I am AFRAID of the Jews that are fallen to the Chaldeans, lest they deliver me into their hand, and they mock me. JEREMIAH 39 17 But I will deliver thee in that day, saith the LORD: and thou shalt not be given into the hand of the men of whom thou art AFRAID. JEREMIAH 41 18 Because of the Chaldeans: for they were AFRAID of them, because Ishmael the son of Nethaniah had slain Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, whom the king of Babylon made governor in the land. JEREMIAH 42 11 Be not AFRAID of the king of Babylon, of whom ye are AFRAID; be not AFRAID of him, saith the LORD: for I am with you to save you, and to deliver you from his hand. 16 Then it shall come to pass, that the sword, which ye feared, shall overtake you there in the land of Egypt, and the famine, whereof ye were AFRAID, shall follow close after you there in Egypt; and there ye shall die. JEREMIAH 44 3 Because of their wickedness which they have committed to provoke me to anger, in that they went to burn incense, and to serve OTHER gods, whom they knew not, neither they, ye, nor your fathers. 5 But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear to turn from their wickedness, to burn no incense unto OTHER gods. 8 In that ye provoke me unto wrath with the works of your hands, burning incense unto OTHER gods in the land of Egypt, whither ye be gone to dwell, that ye might cut yourselves off, and that ye might be a curse and a reproach among all the nations of the earth? 15 Then all the men which knew that their wives had burned incense unto OTHER gods, and all the women that stood by, a great multitude, even all the people that dwelt in the land of Egypt, in Pathros, answered Jeremiah, saying, JEREMIAH 46 27 But fear not thou, O my servant Jacob, and be not dismayed, O Israel: for, behold, I will save thee from afar off, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and be in rest and at ease, and none shall make him AFRAID. EZEKIEL 1 23 And under the firmament were their wings straight, the one toward the OTHER: every one had two, which covered on this side, and every one had two, which covered on that side, their bodies. EZEKIEL 2 6 And thou, son of man, be not AFRAID of them, neither be AFRAID of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not AFRAID of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house. EZEKIEL 16 34 And the contrary is in thee from OTHER women in thy whoredoms, whereas none followeth thee to commit whoredoms: and in that thou givest a reward, and no reward is given unto thee, therefore thou art contrary. EZEKIEL 21 16 Go thee one way or OTHER, either on the right hand, or on the left, whithersoever thy face is set. EZEKIEL 27 35 All the inhabitants of the isles shall be astonished at thee, and their kings shall be sore AFRAID, they shall be troubled in their countenance. EZEKIEL 30 9 In that day shall messengers go forth from me in ships to make the careless Ethiopians AFRAID, and great pain shall come upon them, as in the day of Egypt: for, lo, it cometh. EZEKIEL 32 10 Yea, I will make many people amazed at thee, and their kings shall be horribly AFRAID for thee, when I shall brandish my sword before them; and they shall tremble at every moment, every man for his own life, in the day of thy fall. EZEKIEL 34 28 And they shall no more be a prey to the heathen, neither shall the beast of the land devour them; but they shall dwell safely, and none shall make them AFRAID. EZEKIEL 39 26 After that they have borne their shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and none made them AFRAID. EZEKIEL 40 6 Then came he unto the gate which looketh toward the east, and went up the stairs thereof, and measured the threshold of the gate, which was one reed broad; and the OTHER threshold of the gate, which was one reed broad. 40 And at the side without, as one goeth up to the entry of the north gate, were two tables; and on the OTHER side, which was at the porch of the gate, were two tables. EZEKIEL 41 1 Afterward he brought me to the temple, and measured the posts, six cubits broad on the one side, and six cubits broad on the OTHER side, which was the breadth of the tabernacle. 2 And the breadth of the door was ten cubits; and the sides of the door were five cubits on the one side, and five cubits on the OTHER side: and he measured the length thereof, forty cubits: and the breadth, twenty cubits. 15 And he measured the length of the building over against the separate place which was behind it, and the galleries thereof on the one side and on the OTHER side, an hundred cubits, with the inner temple, and the porches of the court; 19 So that the face of a man was toward the palm tree on the one side, and the face of a young lion toward the palm tree on the OTHER side: it was made through all the house round about. 21 The posts of the temple were squared, and the face of the sanctuary; the appearance of the one as the appearance of the OTHER. 24 And the doors had two leaves apiece, two turning leaves; two leaves for the one door, and two leaves for the OTHER door. 26 And there were narrow windows and palm trees on the one side and on the OTHER side, on the sides of the porch, and upon the side chambers of the house, and thick planks. --MORE-- |
