DEUTERONOMY 1 17 Ye shall not respect persons in judgment; but ye shall hear the small as well as the great; ye shall not be AFRAID of the face of man; for the judgment is God's: and the cause that is too hard for you, bring it unto me, and I will hear it. 29 Then I said unto you, Dread not, neither be AFRAID of them. DEUTERONOMY 2 4 And command thou the people, saying, Ye are to pass through the coast of your brethren the children of Esau, which dwell in Seir; and they shall be AFRAID of you: take ye good heed unto yourselves therefore: DEUTERONOMY 4 9 Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy SOUL diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life: but teach them thy sons, and thy sons' sons; 29 But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy SOUL. DEUTERONOMY 5 5 (I stood between the LORD and you at that time, to shew you the word of the LORD: for ye were AFRAID by reason of the fire, and went not up into the mount;) saying, DEUTERONOMY 6 5 And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy SOUL, and with all thy might. DEUTERONOMY 7 18 Thou shalt not be AFRAID of them: but shalt well remember what the LORD thy God did unto Pharaoh, and unto all Egypt; 19 The great temptations which thine eyes saw, and the signs, and the wonders, and the mighty hand, and the stretched out arm, whereby the LORD thy God brought thee out: so shall the LORD thy God do unto all the people of whom thou art AFRAID. DEUTERONOMY 9 19 For I was AFRAID of the anger and hot displeasure, wherewith the LORD was wroth against you to destroy you. But the LORD hearkened unto me at that time also. DEUTERONOMY 10 12 And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy SOUL, DEUTERONOMY 11 13 And it shall come to pass, if ye shall hearken diligently unto my commandments which I command you this day, to love the LORD your God, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your SOUL, 18 Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your SOUL, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes. DEUTERONOMY 12 15 Notwithstanding thou mayest kill and eat flesh in all thy gates, whatsoever thy SOUL lusteth after, according to the blessing of the LORD thy God which he hath given thee: the unclean and the clean may eat thereof, as of the roebuck, and as of the hart. 20 When the LORD thy God shall enlarge thy border, as he hath promised thee, and thou shalt say, I will eat flesh, because thy SOUL longeth to eat flesh; thou mayest eat flesh, whatsoever thy SOUL lusteth after. 21 If the place which the LORD thy God hath chosen to put his name there be too far from thee, then thou shalt kill of thy herd and of thy flock, which the LORD hath given thee, as I have commanded thee, and thou shalt eat in thy gates whatsoever thy SOUL lusteth after. DEUTERONOMY 13 3 Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your SOUL. 6 If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, which is as thine own SOUL, entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers; DEUTERONOMY 14 26 And thou shalt bestow that money for whatsoever thy SOUL lusteth after, for oxen, or for sheep, or for wine, or for strong drink, or for whatsoever thy SOUL desireth: and thou shalt eat there before the LORD thy God, and thou shalt rejoice, thou, and thine household, DEUTERONOMY 18 22 When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be AFRAID of him. DEUTERONOMY 20 1 When thou goest out to battle against thine enemies, and seest horses, and chariots, and a people more than thou, be not AFRAID of them: for the LORD thy God is with thee, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. DEUTERONOMY 30 2 And shalt return unto the LORD thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy SOUL; 6 And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy SOUL, that thou mayest live. 10 If thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law, and if thou turn unto the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy SOUL. JOSHUA 9 24 And they answered Joshua, and said, Because it was certainly told thy servants, how that the LORD thy God commanded his servant Moses to give you all the land, and to destroy all the inhabitants of the land from before you, therefore we were sore AFRAID of our lives because of you, and have done this thing.
