RUTH 1 16 And Ruth said, Intreat me NOT to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God: 20 And she said unto them, Call me NOT Naomi, call me Mara: for the Almighty hath dealt very bitterly with me. RUTH 2 8 Then said Boaz unto Ruth, Hearest thou NOT, my daughter? Go NOT to glean in another field, neither go from hence, but abide here fast by my maidens: 9 Let thine eyes be on the field that they do reap, and go thou after them: have I NOT charged the young men that they shall NOT touch thee? and when thou art athirst, go unto the vessels, and drink of that which the young men have drawn. 11 And Boaz answered and said unto her, It hath fully been shewed me, all that thou hast done unto thy mother in law since the death of thine husband: and how thou hast left thy father and thy mother, and the land of thy nativity, and art come unto a people which thou knewest NOT heretofore. 13 Then she said, Let me find favour in thy sight, my lord; for that thou hast comforted me, and for that thou hast spoken friendly unto thine handmaid, though I be NOT like unto one of thine handmaidens. 15 And when she was risen up to glean, Boaz commanded his young men, saying, Let her glean even among the sheaves, and reproach her NOT: 16 And let fall also some of the handfuls of purpose for her, and leave them, that she may glean them, and rebuke her NOT. 20 And Naomi said unto her daughter in law, Blessed be he of the LORD, who hath NOT left off his kindness to the living and to the dead. And Naomi said unto her, The man is near of kin unto us, one of our next kinsmen. 22 And Naomi said unto Ruth her daughter in law, It is good, my daughter, that thou go out with his maidens, that they meet thee NOT in any other field. RUTH 3 1 Then Naomi her mother in law said unto her, My daughter, shall I NOT seek rest for thee, that it may be well with thee? 2 And now is NOT Boaz of our kindred, with whose maidens thou wast? Behold, he winnoweth barley to night in the threshingfloor. 3 Wash thyself therefore, and anoint thee, and put thy raiment upon thee, and get thee down to the floor: but make NOT thyself known unto the man, until he shall have done eating and drinking. 8 And it came to pass at midnight, that the man was AFRAID, and turned himself: and, behold, a woman lay at his feet. 10 And he said, Blessed be thou of the LORD, my daughter: for thou hast shewed more kindness in the latter end than at the beginning, inasmuch as thou followedst NOT young men, whether poor or rich. 11 And now, my daughter, fear NOT; I will do to thee all that thou requirest: for all the city of my people doth know that thou art a virtuous woman. 13 Tarry this night, and it shall be in the morning, that if he will perform unto thee the part of a kinsman, well; let him do the kinsman's part: but if he will NOT do the part of a kinsman to thee, then will I do the part of a kinsman to thee, as the LORD liveth: lie down until the morning. 14 And she lay at his feet until the morning: and she rose up before one could know another. And he said, Let it NOT be known that a woman came into the floor. 17 And she said, These six measures of barley gave he me; for he said to me, Go NOT empty unto thy mother in law. 18 Then said she, Sit still, my daughter, until thou know how the matter will fall: for the man will NOT be in rest, until he have finished the thing this day. RUTH 4 4 And I thought to advertise thee, saying, Buy it before the inhabitants, and before the elders of my people. If thou wilt redeem it, redeem it: but if thou wilt NOT redeem it, then tell me, that I may know: for there is none to redeem it beside thee; and I am after thee. And he said, I will redeem it. 10 Moreover Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of Mahlon, have I purchased to be my wife, to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance, that the name of the dead be NOT cut off from among his brethren, and from the gate of his place: ye are witnesses this day. 14 And the women said unto Naomi, Blessed be the LORD, which hath NOT left thee this day without a kinsman, that his name may be famous in Israel. 1 SAMUEL 1 7 And as he did so year by year, when she went up to the house of the LORD, so she provoked her; therefore she wept, and did NOT eat. 8 Then said Elkanah her husband to her, Hannah, why weepest thou? and why eatest thou NOT? and why is thy heart grieved? am NOT I better to thee than ten sons? 11 And she vowed a vow, and said, O LORD of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and NOT forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the LORD all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head. 13 Now Hannah, she spake in her heart; only her lips moved, but her voice was NOT heard: therefore Eli thought she had been drunken. 16 Count NOT thine handmaid for a daughter of Belial: for out of the abundance of my complaint and grief have I spoken hitherto. 22 But Hannah went NOT up; for she said unto her husband, I will NOT go up until the child be weaned, and then I will bring him, that he may appear before the LORD, and there abide for ever. 1 SAMUEL 2 3 Talk no more so exceeding proudly; let NOT arrogancy come out of your mouth: for the LORD is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed. 12 Now the sons of Eli were sons of Belial; they knew NOT the LORD. 15 Also before they burnt the fat, the priest's servant came, and said to the man that sacrificed, Give flesh to roast for the priest; for he will NOT have sodden flesh of thee, but raw. 16 And if any man said unto him, Let them NOT fail to burn the fat presently, and then take as much as thy soul desireth; then he would answer him, Nay; but thou shalt give it me now: and if NOT, I will take it by force. 25 If one man sin against another, the judge shall judge him: but if a man sin against the LORD, who shall intreat for him? Notwithstanding they hearkened NOT unto the voice of their father, because the LORD would slay them. 31 Behold, the days come, that I will cut off thine arm, and the arm of thy father's house, that there shall NOT be an old man in thine house. 32 And thou shalt see an enemy in my habitation, in all the wealth which God shall give Israel: and there shall NOT be an old man in thine house for ever. 33 And the man of thine, whom I shall NOT cut off from mine altar, shall be to consume thine eyes, and to grieve thine heart: and all the increase of thine house shall die in the flower of their age. 1 SAMUEL 3 2 And it came to pass at that time, when Eli was laid down in his place, and his eyes began to wax dim, that he could NOT see; 5 And he ran unto Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou calledst me. And he said, I called NOT; lie down again. And he went and lay down. 6 And the LORD called yet again, Samuel. And Samuel arose and went to Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou didst call me. And he answered, I called NOT, my son; lie down again. 7 Now Samuel did NOT yet know the LORD, neither was the word of the LORD yet revealed unto him. 13 For I have told him that I will judge his house for ever for the iniquity which he knoweth; because his sons made themselves vile, and he restrained them NOT. 14 And therefore I have sworn unto the house of Eli, that the iniquity of Eli's house shall NOT be purged with sacrifice nor offering for ever. 17 And he said, What is the thing that the LORD hath said unto thee? I pray thee hide it NOT from me: God do so to thee, and more also, if thou hide any thing from me of all the things that he said unto thee. 1 SAMUEL 4 7 And the Philistines were AFRAID, for they said, God is come into the camp. And they said, Woe unto us! for there hath NOT been such a thing heretofore. 9 Be strong and quit yourselves like men, O ye Philistines, that ye be NOT servants unto the Hebrews, as they have been to you: quit yourselves like men, and fight. 15 Now Eli was ninety and eight years old; and his eyes were dim, that he could NOT see. 20 And about the time of her death the women that stood by her said unto her, Fear NOT; for thou hast born a son. But she answered NOT, neither did she regard it. 1 SAMUEL 5 7 And when the men of Ashdod saw that it was so, they said, The ark of the God of Israel shall NOT abide with us: for his hand is sore upon us, and upon Dagon our god. 11 So they sent and gathered together all the lords of the Philistines, and said, Send away the ark of the God of Israel, and let it go again to his own place, that it slay us NOT, and our people: for there was a deadly destruction throughout all the city; the hand of God was very heavy there. 12 And the men that died NOT were smitten with the emerods: and the cry of the city went up to heaven. --MORE-- |
