ISAIAH 33 1 Woe to thee that spoilest, and thou wast NOT spoiled; and dealest treacherously, and they dealt NOT treacherously with thee! when thou shalt cease to spoil, thou shalt be spoiled; and when thou shalt make an end to deal treacherously, they shall deal treacherously with thee. 14 The sinners in Zion are AFRAID; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings? 19 Thou shalt NOT see a fierce people, a people of a deeper speech than thou canst perceive; of a stammering tongue, that thou canst NOT understand. 20 Look upon Zion, the city of our solemnities: thine eyes shall see Jerusalem a quiet habitation, a tabernacle that shall NOT be taken down; NOT one of the stakes thereof shall ever be removed, neither shall any of the cords thereof be broken. 23 Thy tacklings are loosed; they could NOT well strengthen their mast, they could NOT spread the sail: then is the prey of a great spoil divided; the lame take the prey. 24 And the inhabitant shall NOT say, I am sick: the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity. ISAIAH 34 10 It shall NOT be quenched night nor day; the smoke thereof shall go up for ever: from generation to generation it shall lie waste; none shall pass through it for ever and ever. ISAIAH 35 4 Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear NOT: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you. 8 And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall NOT pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall NOT err therein. 9 No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall NOT be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there: ISAIAH 36 7 But if thou say to me, We trust in the LORD our God: is it NOT he, whose high places and whose altars Hezekiah hath taken away, and said to Judah and to Jerusalem, Ye shall worship before this altar? 11 Then said Eliakim and Shebna and Joah unto Rabshakeh, Speak, I pray thee, unto thy servants in the Syrian language; for we understand it: and speak NOT to us in the Jews' language, in the ears of the people that are on the wall. 12 But Rabshakeh said, Hath my master sent me to thy master and to thee to speak these words? hath he NOT sent me to the men that sit upon the wall, that they may eat their own dung, and drink their own piss with you? 14 Thus saith the king, Let NOT Hezekiah deceive you: for he shall NOT be able to deliver you. 15 Neither let Hezekiah make you trust in the LORD, saying, The LORD will surely deliver us: this city shall NOT be delivered into the hand of the king of Assyria. 16 Hearken NOT to Hezekiah: for thus saith the king of Assyria, Make an agreement with me by a present, and come out to me: and eat ye every one of his vine, and every one of his fig tree, and drink ye every one the waters of his own cistern; 21 But they held their peace, and answered him NOT a word: for the king's commandment was, saying, Answer him NOT. ISAIAH 37 3 And they said unto him, Thus saith Hezekiah, This day is a day of trouble, and of rebuke, and of blasphemy: for the children are come to the birth, and there is NOT strength to bring forth. 6 And Isaiah said unto them, Thus shall ye say unto your master, Thus saith the LORD, Be NOT AFRAID of the words that thou hast heard, wherewith the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me. 10 Thus shall ye speak to Hezekiah king of Judah, saying, Let NOT thy God, in whom thou trustest, deceive thee, saying, Jerusalem shall NOT be given into the hand of the king of Assyria. 26 Hast thou NOT heard long ago, how I have done it; and of ancient times, that I have formed it? now have I brought it to pass, that thou shouldest be to lay waste defenced cities into ruinous heaps. 33 Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning the king of Assyria, He shall NOT come into this city, nor shoot an arrow there, nor come before it with shields, nor cast a bank against it. 34 By the way that he came, by the same shall he return, and shall NOT come into this city, saith the LORD. ISAIAH 38 1 In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came unto him, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Set thine house in order: for thou shalt die, and NOT live. 11 I said, I shall NOT see the LORD, even the LORD, in the land of the living: I shall behold man no more with the inhabitants of the world. 18 For the grave cannot praise thee, death can NOT celebrate thee: they that go down into the pit cannot hope for thy truth. ISAIAH 39 2 And Hezekiah was glad of them, and shewed them the house of his precious things, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and the precious ointment, and all the house of his armour, and all that was found in his treasures: there was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion, that Hezekiah shewed them NOT. 4 Then said he, What have they seen in thine house? And Hezekiah answered, All that is in mine house have they seen: there is nothing among my treasures that I have NOT shewed them. ISAIAH 40 9 O Zion, that bringest good tidings, get thee up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that bringest good tidings, lift up thy voice with strength; lift it up, be NOT AFRAID; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God! 16 And Lebanon is NOT sufficient to burn, nor the beasts thereof sufficient for a burnt offering. 20 He that is so impoverished that he hath no oblation chooseth a tree that will NOT rot; he seeketh unto him a cunning workman to prepare a graven image, that shall NOT be moved. 21 Have ye NOT known? have ye NOT heard? hath it NOT been told you from the beginning? have ye NOT understood from the foundations of the earth? 24 Yea, they shall NOT be planted; yea, they shall NOT be sown: yea, their stock shall NOT take root in the earth: and he shall also blow upon them, and they shall wither, and the whirlwind shall take them away as stubble. 26 Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created these things, that bringeth out their host by number: he calleth them all by names by the greatness of his might, for that he is strong in power; NOT one faileth. 28 Hast thou NOT known? hast thou NOT heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth NOT, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. 31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and NOT be weary; and they shall walk, and NOT faint. ISAIAH 41 3 He pursued them, and passed safely; even by the way that he had NOT gone with his feet. 5 The isles saw it, and feared; the ends of the earth were AFRAID, drew near, and came. 7 So the carpenter encouraged the goldsmith, and he that smootheth with the hammer him that smote the anvil, saying, It is ready for the sodering: and he fastened it with nails, that it should NOT be moved. 9 Thou whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called thee from the chief men thereof, and said unto thee, Thou art my servant; I have chosen thee, and NOT cast thee away. 10 Fear thou NOT; for I am with thee: be NOT dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. 12 Thou shalt seek them, and shalt NOT find them, even them that contended with thee: they that war against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought. 13 For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear NOT; I will help thee. 14 Fear NOT, thou worm Jacob, and ye men of Israel; I will help thee, saith the LORD, and thy redeemer, the Holy One of Israel. 17 When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue faileth for thirst, I the LORD will hear them, I the God of Israel will NOT forsake them. ISAIAH 42 2 He shall NOT cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street. 3 A bruised reed shall he NOT break, and the smoking flax shall he NOT quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth. 4 He shall NOT fail nor be discouraged, till he have set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his law. 8 I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I NOT give to another, neither my praise to graven images. 16 And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew NOT; I will lead them in paths that they have NOT known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and NOT forsake them. 20 Seeing many things, but thou observest NOT; opening the ears, but he heareth NOT. 24 Who gave Jacob for a spoil, and Israel to the robbers? did NOT the LORD, he against whom we have sinned? for they would NOT walk in his ways, neither were they obedient unto his law. 25 Therefore he hath poured upon him the fury of his anger, and the strength of battle: and it hath set him on fire round about, yet he knew NOT; and it burned him, yet he laid it NOT to heart. --MORE-- |
