NAHUM 2 11 Where is the dwelling of the lions, and the feedingplace of the young lions, where the lion, even the old lion, walked, and the lion's whelp, and none made them AFRAID? NAHUM 3 1 Woe to the bloody city! it is all full of lies and robbery; the prey departeth NOT; 17 Thy crowned are as the locusts, and thy captains as the great grasshoppers, which camp in the hedges in the cold day, but when the sun ariseth they flee away, and their place is NOT known where they are. 19 There is no healing of thy bruise; thy wound is grievous: all that hear the bruit of thee shall clap the hands over thee: for upon whom hath NOT thy wickedness passed continually? HABAKKUK 1 2 O LORD, how long shall I cry, and thou wilt NOT hear! even cry out unto thee of violence, and thou wilt NOT save! 5 Behold ye among the heathen, and regard, and wonder marvelously: for I will work a work in your days which ye will NOT believe, though it be told you. 6 For, lo, I raise up the Chaldeans, that bitter and hasty nation, which shall march through the breadth of the land, to possess the dwellingplaces that are NOT their's. 12 Art thou NOT from everlasting, O LORD my God, mine Holy One? we shall NOT die. O LORD, thou hast ordained them for judgment; and, O mighty God, thou hast established them for correction. 13 Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst NOT look on iniquity: wherefore lookest thou upon them that deal treacherously, and holdest thy tongue when the wicked devoureth the man that is more righteous than he? 17 Shall they therefore empty their net, and NOT spare continually to slay the nations? HABAKKUK 2 3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and NOT lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will NOT tarry. 4 Behold, his soul which is lifted up is NOT upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith. 6 Shall NOT all these take up a parable against him, and a taunting proverb against him, and say, Woe to him that increaseth that which is NOT his! how long? and to him that ladeth himself with thick clay! 7 Shall they NOT rise up suddenly that shall bite thee, and awake that shall vex thee, and thou shalt be for booties unto them? 13 Behold, is it NOT of the LORD of hosts that the people shall labour in the very fire, and the people shall weary themselves for very vanity? 17 For the violence of Lebanon shall cover thee, and the spoil of beasts, which made them AFRAID, because of men's blood, and for the violence of the land, of the city, and of all that dwell therein. HABAKKUK 3 2 O LORD, I have heard thy speech, and was AFRAID: O LORD, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy. 17 Although the fig tree shall NOT blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: ZEPHANIAH 1 6 And them that are turned back from the LORD; and those that have NOT sought the LORD, nor enquired for him. 12 And it shall come to pass at that time, that I will search Jerusalem with candles, and punish the men that are settled on their lees: that say in their heart, The LORD will NOT do good, neither will he do evil. 13 Therefore their goods shall become a booty, and their houses a desolation: they shall also build houses, but NOT inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, but NOT drink the wine thereof. ZEPHANIAH 2 1 Gather yourselves together, yea, gather together, O nation NOT desired; ZEPHANIAH 3 2 She obeyed NOT the voice; she received NOT correction; she trusted NOT in the LORD; she drew NOT near to her God. 3 Her princes within her are roaring lions; her judges are evening wolves; they gnaw NOT the bones till the morrow. 5 The just LORD is in the midst thereof; he will NOT do iniquity: every morning doth he bring his judgment to light, he faileth NOT; but the unjust knoweth no shame. 7 I said, Surely thou wilt fear me, thou wilt receive instruction; so their dwelling should NOT be cut off, howsoever I punished them: but they rose early, and corrupted all their doings. 11 In that day shalt thou NOT be ashamed for all thy doings, wherein thou hast transgressed against me: for then I will take away out of the midst of thee them that rejoice in thy pride, and thou shalt no more be haughty because of my holy mountain. 13 The remnant of Israel shall NOT do iniquity, nor speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth: for they shall feed and lie down, and none shall make them AFRAID. 15 The LORD hath taken away thy judgments, he hath cast out thine enemy: the king of Israel, even the LORD, is in the midst of thee: thou shalt NOT see evil any more. 16 In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem, Fear thou NOT: and to Zion, Let NOT thine hands be slack. HAGGAI 1 2 Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, This people say, The time is NOT come, the time that the LORD's house should be built. 6 Ye have sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have NOT enough; ye drink, but ye are NOT filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes. HAGGAI 2 3 Who is left among you that saw this house in her first glory? and how do ye see it now? is it NOT in your eyes in comparison of it as nothing? 5 According to the word that I covenanted with you when ye came out of Egypt, so my spirit remaineth among you: fear ye NOT. 17 I smote you with blasting and with mildew and with hail in all the labours of your hands; yet ye turned NOT to me, saith the LORD. 19 Is the seed yet in the barn? yea, as yet the vine, and the fig tree, and the pomegranate, and the olive tree, hath NOT brought forth: from this day will I bless you. ZECHARIAH 1 4 Be ye NOT as your fathers, unto whom the former prophets have cried, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Turn ye now from your evil ways, and from your evil doings: but they did NOT hear, nor hearken unto me, saith the LORD. 6 But my words and my statutes, which I commanded my servants the prophets, did they NOT take hold of your fathers? and they returned and said, Like as the LORD of hosts thought to do unto us, according to our ways, and according to our doings, so hath he dealt with us. 12 Then the angel of the LORD answered and said, O LORD of hosts, how long wilt thou NOT have mercy on Jerusalem and on the cities of Judah, against which thou hast had indignation these threescore and ten years? ZECHARIAH 3 2 And the LORD said unto Satan, The LORD rebuke thee, O Satan; even the LORD that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is NOT this a brand plucked out of the fire? ZECHARIAH 4 5 Then the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Knowest thou NOT what these be? And I said, No, my lord. 6 Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, NOT by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts. 13 And he answered me and said, Knowest thou NOT what these be? And I said, No, my lord. ZECHARIAH 7 6 And when ye did eat, and when ye did drink, did NOT ye eat for yourselves, and drink for yourselves? 7 Should ye NOT hear the words which the LORD hath cried by the former prophets, when Jerusalem was inhabited and in prosperity, and the cities thereof round about her, when men inhabited the south and the plain? 10 And oppress NOT the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor; and let none of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart. 11 But they refused to hearken, and pulled away the shoulder, and stopped their ears, that they should NOT hear. 13 Therefore it is come to pass, that as he cried, and they would NOT hear; so they cried, and I would NOT hear, saith the LORD of hosts: 14 But I scattered them with a whirlwind among all the nations whom they knew NOT. Thus the land was desolate after them, that no man passed through nor returned: for they laid the pleasant land desolate. ZECHARIAH 8 11 But now I will NOT be unto the residue of this people as in the former days, saith the LORD of hosts. 13 And it shall come to pass, that as ye were a curse among the heathen, O house of Judah, and house of Israel; so will I save you, and ye shall be a blessing: fear NOT, but let your hands be strong. 14 For thus saith the LORD of hosts; As I thought to punish you, when your fathers provoked me to wrath, saith the LORD of hosts, and I repented NOT: 15 So again have I thought in these days to do well unto Jerusalem and to the house of Judah: fear ye NOT. --MORE-- |
