1 SAMUEL 12 6 And Samuel said unto the people, It is the LORD that advanced Moses and Aaron, and that brought your FATHERS up out of the land of Egypt. 7 Now therefore stand still, that I may reason with you before the LORD of all the righteous acts of the LORD, which he did to you and to your FATHERS. 8 When Jacob was come into Egypt, and your FATHERS cried unto the LORD, then the LORD sent Moses and Aaron, which brought forth your FATHERS out of Egypt, and made them dwell in this place. 15 But if ye will not obey the voice of the LORD, but rebel against the commandment of the LORD, then shall the hand of the LORD be against you, as it was against your FATHERS. 2 SAMUEL 4 4 And Jonathan, Saul's son, had a son that was lame of his feet. He was five years old when the tidings came of Saul and Jonathan out of Jezreel, and his nurse took him up, and fled: and it came to pass, as she made haste to FLEE, that he fell, and became lame. And his name was Mephibosheth. 2 SAMUEL 7 12 And when thy days be fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy FATHERS, I will set up thy seed after thee, which shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom. 2 SAMUEL 15 14 And David said unto all his servants that were with him at Jerusalem, Arise, and let us FLEE; for we shall not else escape from Absalom: make speed to depart, lest he overtake us suddenly, and bring evil upon us, and smite the city with the edge of the sword. 2 SAMUEL 17 2 And I will come upon him while he is weary and weak handed, and will make him afraid: and all the people that are with him shall FLEE; and I will smite the king only: 2 SAMUEL 18 3 But the people answered, Thou shalt not go forth: for if we FLEE away, they will not care for us; neither if half of us die, will they care for us: but now thou art worth ten thousand of us: therefore now it is better that thou succour us out of the city. 2 SAMUEL 19 3 And the people gat them by stealth that day into the city, as people being ashamed steal away when they FLEE in battle. 2 SAMUEL 24 13 So Gad came to David, and told him, and said unto him, Shall seven years of famine come unto thee in thy land? or wilt thou FLEE three months before thine enemies, while they pursue thee? or that there be three days' pestilence in thy land? now advise, and see what answer I shall return to him that sent me. 1 KINGS 1 21 Otherwise it shall come to pass, when my lord the king shall sleep with his FATHERS, that I and my son Solomon shall be counted offenders. 1 KINGS 2 10 So David slept with his FATHERS, and was buried in the city of David. 1 KINGS 8 1 Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, the chief of the FATHERS of the children of Israel, unto king Solomon in Jerusalem, that they might bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of the city of David, which is Zion. 21 And I have set there a place for the ark, wherein is the covenant of the LORD, which he made with our FATHERS, when he brought them out of the land of Egypt. 34 Then hear thou in heaven, and forgive the sin of thy people Israel, and bring them again unto the land which thou gavest unto their FATHERS. 40 That they may fear thee all the days that they live in the land which thou gavest unto our FATHERS. 48 And so return unto thee with all their heart, and with all their soul, in the land of their enemies, which led them away captive, and pray unto thee toward their land, which thou gavest unto their FATHERS, the city which thou hast chosen, and the house which I have built for thy name: 53 For thou didst separate them from among all the people of the earth, to be thine inheritance, as thou spakest by the hand of Moses thy servant, when thou broughtest our FATHERS out of Egypt, O LORD God. 57 The LORD our God be with us, as he was with our FATHERS: let him not leave us, nor forsake us: 58 That he may incline our hearts unto him, to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and his statutes, and his judgments, which he commanded our FATHERS. 1 KINGS 9 9 And they shall answer, Because they forsook the LORD their God, who brought forth their FATHERS out of the land of Egypt, and have taken hold upon other gods, and have worshipped them, and served them: therefore hath the LORD brought upon them all this evil. 1 KINGS 11 21 And when Hadad heard in Egypt that David slept with his FATHERS, and that Joab the captain of the host was dead, Hadad said to Pharaoh, Let me depart, that I may go to mine own country. 43 And Solomon slept with his FATHERS, and was buried in the city of David his father: and Rehoboam his son reigned in his stead. 1 KINGS 12 18 Then king Rehoboam sent Adoram, who was over the tribute; and all Israel stoned him with stones, that he died.
