NEHEMIAH 1 10 Now these are thy servants and thy people, whom thou hast redeemed by thy great POWER, and by thy strong hand. NEHEMIAH 2 2 Wherefore the king said unto me, Why is thy countenance sad, seeing thou art not sick? this is nothing else but sorrow of heart. Then I was very sore AFRAID, NEHEMIAH 4 14 And I looked, and rose up, and said unto the nobles, and to the rulers, and to the rest of the people, Be not ye AFRAID of them: remember the LORD, which is great and terrible, and fight for your brethren, your sons, and your daughters, your wives, and your houses. NEHEMIAH 5 5 Yet now our flesh is as the flesh of our brethren, our children as their children: and, lo, we bring into bondage our sons and our daughters to be servants, and some of our daughters are brought unto bondage already: neither is it in our POWER to redeem them; for other men have our lands and vineyards. NEHEMIAH 6 9 For they all made us AFRAID, saying, Their hands shall be weakened from the work, that it be not done. Now therefore, O God, strengthen my hands. 13 Therefore was he hired, that I should be AFRAID, and do so, and sin, and that they might have matter for an evil report, that they might reproach me. ESTHER 1 3 In the third year of his reign, he made a feast unto all his princes and his servants; the POWER of Persia and Media, the nobles and princes of the provinces, being before him: ESTHER 7 6 And Esther said, The adversary and enemy is this wicked Haman. Then Haman was AFRAID before the king and the queen. ESTHER 8 11 Wherein the king granted the Jews which were in every city to gather themselves together, and to stand for their life, to destroy, to slay and to cause to perish, all the POWER of the people and province that would assault them, both little ones and women, and to take the spoil of them for a prey, ESTHER 9 1 Now in the twelfth month, that is, the month Adar, on the thirteenth day of the same, when the king's commandment and his decree drew near to be put in execution, in the day that the enemies of the Jews hoped to have POWER over them, (though it was turned to the contrary, that the Jews had rule over them that hated them;) ESTHER 10 2 And all the acts of his POWER and of his might, and the declaration of the greatness of Mordecai, whereunto the king advanced him, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Media and Persia? JOB 1 12 And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy POWER; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the LORD. JOB 3 25 For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was AFRAID of is come unto me. JOB 5 20 In famine he shall redeem thee from death: and in war from the POWER of the sword. 21 Thou shalt be hid from the scourge of the tongue: neither shalt thou be AFRAID of destruction when it cometh. 22 At destruction and famine thou shalt laugh: neither shalt thou be AFRAID of the beasts of the earth. JOB 6 21 For now ye are nothing; ye see my casting down, and are AFRAID. JOB 9 28 I am AFRAID of all my sorrows, I know that thou wilt not hold me innocent. JOB 11 19 Also thou shalt lie down, and none shall make thee AFRAID; yea, many shall make suit unto thee. JOB 13 11 Shall not his excellency make you AFRAID? and his dread fall upon you? 21 Withdraw thine hand far from me: and let not thy dread make me AFRAID. JOB 15 24 Trouble and anguish shall make him AFRAID; they shall prevail against him, as a king ready to the battle. JOB 18 11 Terrors shall make him AFRAID on every side, and shall drive him to his feet. JOB 19 29 Be ye AFRAID of the sword: for wrath bringeth the punishments of the sword, that ye may know there is a judgment. JOB 21 6 Even when I remember I am AFRAID, and trembling taketh hold on my flesh. 7 Wherefore do the wicked live, become old, yea, are mighty in POWER? JOB 23 6 Will he plead against me with his great POWER? No; but he would put strength in me. 15 Therefore am I troubled at his presence: when I consider, I am AFRAID of him. JOB 24 22 He draweth also the mighty with his POWER: he riseth up, and no man is sure of life. JOB 26 2 How hast thou helped him that is without POWER? how savest thou the arm that hath no strength? 12 He divideth the sea with his POWER, and by his understanding he smiteth through the proud. 14 Lo, these are parts of his ways: but how little a portion is heard of him? but the thunder of his POWER who can understand? JOB 32 6 And Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite answered and said, I am young, and ye are very old; wherefore I was AFRAID, and durst not shew you mine opinion. JOB 33 7 Behold, my terror shall not make thee AFRAID, neither shall my hand be heavy upon thee. JOB 36 22 Behold, God exalteth by his POWER: who teacheth like him? JOB 37 23 Touching the Almighty, we cannot find him out: he is excellent in POWER, and in judgment, and in plenty of justice: he will not afflict. JOB 39 20 Canst thou make him AFRAID as a grasshopper? the glory of his nostrils is terrible. JOB 41 12 I will not conceal his parts, nor his POWER, nor his comely proportion. 25 When he raiseth up himself, the mighty are AFRAID: by reason of breakings they purify themselves. PSALM 3 6 I will not be AFRAID of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about. PSALM 18 4 The sorrows of death compassed me, and the floods of ungodly men made me AFRAID. 45 The strangers shall fade away, and be AFRAID out of their close places. PSALM 21 13 Be thou exalted, LORD, in thine own strength: so will we sing and praise thy POWER. PSALM 22 20 Deliver my soul from the sword; my darling from the POWER of the dog. PSALM 27 1 The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be AFRAID? PSALM 37 35 I have seen the wicked in great POWER, and spreading himself like a green bay tree. PSALM 49 15 But God will redeem my soul from the POWER of the grave: for he shall receive me. Selah. 16 Be not thou AFRAID when one is made rich, when the glory of his house is increased; PSALM 56 3 What time I am AFRAID, I will trust in thee. 11 In God have I put my trust: I will not be AFRAID what man can do unto me. --MORE-- |
