ISAIAH 1 4 AH sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward. 24 Therefore saith the LORD, the LORD of hosts, the mighty One of Israel, AH, I will ease me of mine adversaries, and avenge me of mine enemies: ISAIAH 3 26 And her GATES shall lament and mourn; and she being desolate shall sit upon the ground. JEREMIAH 22 2 And say, Hear the word of the LORD, O king of Judah, that sittest upon the throne of David, thou, and thy servants, and thy people that enter in by these GATES: 4 For if ye do this thing indeed, then shall there enter in by the GATES of this house kings sitting upon the throne of David, riding in chariots and on horses, he, and his servants, and his people. 18 Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah; They shall not lament for him, saying, AH my brother! or, AH sister! they shall not lament for him, saying, AH lord! or, AH his glory! 19 He shall be buried with the burial of an ass, drawn and cast forth beyond the GATES of Jerusalem. JEREMIAH 32 17 AH Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee: JEREMIAH 34 5 But thou shalt die in peace: and with the burnings of thy fathers, the former kings which were before thee, so shall they burn odours for thee; and they will lament thee, saying, AH lord! for I have pronounced the word, saith the LORD. JEREMIAH 49 31 Arise, get you up unto the wealthy nation, that dwelleth without care, saith the LORD, which have neither GATES nor bars, which dwell alone. JEREMIAH 51 58 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; The broad walls of Babylon shall be utterly broken, and her high GATES shall be burned with fire; and the people shall labour in vain, and the folk in the fire, and they shall be weary. LAMENTATIONS 1 4 The ways of Zion do mourn, because none come to the solemn feasts: all her GATES are desolate: her priests sigh, her virgins are afflicted, and she is in bitterness. LAMENTATIONS 2 9 Her GATES are sunk into the ground; he hath destroyed and broken her bars: her king and her princes are among the Gentiles: the law is no more; her prophets also find no vision from the LORD. LAMENTATIONS 4 12 The kings of the earth, and all the inhabitants of the world, would not have believed that the adversary and the enemy should have entered into the GATES of Jerusalem. EZEKIEL 4 14 Then said I, AH Lord GOD! behold, my soul hath not been polluted: for from my youth up even till now have I not eaten of that which dieth of itself, or is torn in pieces; neither came there abominable flesh into my mouth. EZEKIEL 9 8 And it came to pass, while they were slaying them, and I was left, that I fell upon my face, and cried, and said, AH Lord GOD! wilt thou destroy all the residue of Israel in thy pouring out of thy fury upon Jerusalem? EZEKIEL 11 13 And it came to pass, when I prophesied, that Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then fell I down upon my face, and cried with a loud voice, and said, AH Lord GOD! wilt thou make a full end of the remnant of Israel? EZEKIEL 20 49 Then said I, AH Lord GOD! they say of me, Doth he not speak parables? EZEKIEL 21 15 I have set the point of the sword against all their GATES, that their heart may faint, and their ruins be multiplied: AH! it is made bright, it is wrapped up for the slaughter. 22 At his right hand was the divination for Jerusalem, to appoint captains, to open the mouth in the slaughter, to lift up the voice with shouting, to appoint battering rams against the GATES, to cast a mount, and to build a fort. EZEKIEL 26 2 Son of man, because that Tyrus hath said against Jerusalem, Aha, she is broken that was the GATES of the people: she is turned unto me: I shall be replenished, now she is laid waste: 10 By reason of the abundance of his horses their dust shall cover thee: thy walls shall shake at the noise of the horsemen, and of the wheels, and of the chariots, when he shall enter into thy GATES, as men enter into a city wherein is made a breach.
