ISAIAH 3 10 Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the FRUIT of their doings. ISAIAH 4 2 In that day shall the branch of the LORD be beautiful and glorious, and the FRUIT of the earth shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel. ISAIAH 10 12 Wherefore it shall come to pass, that when the Lord hath performed his whole work upon mount Zion and on Jerusalem, I will punish the FRUIT of the stout heart of the king of Assyria, and the glory of his high looks. ISAIAH 13 18 Their bows also shall dash the young men to pieces; and they shall have no pity on the FRUIT of the womb; their eyes shall not spare children. ISAIAH 14 29 Rejoice not thou, whole Palestina, because the rod of him that smote thee is broken: for out of the serpent's root shall come forth a cockatrice, and his FRUIT shall be a fiery flying serpent. ISAIAH 27 6 He shall cause them that come of Jacob to take root: Israel shall blossom and bud, and fill the face of the world with FRUIT. 9 By this therefore shall the iniquity of Jacob be purged; and this is all the FRUIT to take away his sin; when he maketh all the stones of the altar as chalkstones that are beaten in sunder, the groves and images shall not stand up. ISAIAH 28 4 And the glorious beauty, which is on the head of the fat valley, shall be a fading flower, and as the hasty FRUIT before the summer; which when he that looketh upon it seeth, while it is yet in his hand he eateth it up. ISAIAH 29 16 Surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the potter's clay: for shall the work say of him that made it, He made me not? or shall the thing FRAMED say of him that FRAMED it, He had no understanding? ISAIAH 37 30 And this shall be a sign unto thee, Ye shall eat this year such as groweth of itself; and the second year that which springeth of the same: and in the third year sow ye, and reap, and plant vineyards, and eat the FRUIT thereof. 31 And the remnant that is escaped of the house of Judah shall again take root downward, and bear FRUIT upward: ISAIAH 49 15 Can a woman FORGET her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may FORGET, yet will I not FORGET thee. ISAIAH 54 4 Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt FORGET the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more. ISAIAH 57 19 I create the FRUIT of the lips; Peace, peace to him that is far off, and to him that is near, saith the LORD; and I will heal him. ISAIAH 65 11 But ye are they that forsake the LORD, that FORGET my holy mountain, that prepare a table for that troop, and that furnish the drink offering unto that number. 21 And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the FRUIT of them. JEREMIAH 2 7 And I brought you into a plentiful country, to eat the FRUIT thereof and the goodness thereof; but when ye entered, ye defiled my land, and made mine heritage an abomination. 32 Can a maid FORGET her ornaments, or a bride her attire? yet my people have forgotten me days without number. JEREMIAH 6 19 Hear, O earth: behold, I will bring evil upon this people, even the FRUIT of their thoughts, because they have not hearkened unto my words, nor to my law, but rejected it. JEREMIAH 7 20 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, mine anger and my fury shall be poured out upon this place, upon man, and upon beast, and upon the trees of the field, and upon the FRUIT of the ground; and it shall burn, and shall not be quenched. JEREMIAH 11 16 The LORD called thy name, A green olive tree, fair, and of goodly FRUIT: with the noise of a great tumult he hath kindled fire upon it, and the branches of it are broken. 19 But I was like a lamb or an ox that is brought to the slaughter; and I knew not that they had devised devices against me, saying, Let us destroy the tree with the FRUIT thereof, and let us cut him off from the land of the living, that his name may be no more remembered. JEREMIAH 12 2 Thou hast planted them, yea, they have taken root: they grow, yea, they bring forth FRUIT: thou art near in their mouth, and far from their reins. JEREMIAH 17 8 For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding FRUIT. 10 I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the FRUIT of his doings. 11 As the partridge sitteth on eggs, and hatcheth them not; so he that getteth riches, and not by right, shall leave them in the midst of his days, and at his end shall be a FOOL. JEREMIAH 21 14 But I will punish you according to the FRUIT of your doings, saith the LORD: and I will kindle a fire in the forest thereof, and it shall devour all things round about it. JEREMIAH 23 27 Which think to cause my people to FORGET my name by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbour, as their fathers have forgotten my name for Baal. 39 Therefore, behold, I, even I, will utterly FORGET you, and I will forsake you, and the city that I gave you and your fathers, and cast you out of my presence: JEREMIAH 29 5 Build ye houses, and dwell in them; and plant gardens, and eat the FRUIT of them; 28 For therefore he sent unto us in Babylon, saying, This captivity is long: build ye houses, and dwell in them; and plant gardens, and eat the FRUIT of them. JEREMIAH 32 19 Great in counsel, and mighty in work: for thine eyes are open upon all the ways of the sons of men: to give every one according to his ways, and according to the FRUIT of his doings: JEREMIAH 40 4 And now, behold, I loose thee this day from the chains which were upon thine hand. If it seem good unto thee to come with me into Babylon, come; and I will look well unto thee: but if it seem ill unto thee to come with me into Babylon, FORBEAR: behold, all the land is before thee: whither it seemeth good and convenient for thee to go, thither go. LAMENTATIONS 2 20 Behold, O LORD, and consider to whom thou hast done this. Shall the women eat their FRUIT, and children of a span long? shall the priest and the prophet be slain in the sanctuary of the Lord? LAMENTATIONS 5 20 Wherefore dost thou FORGET us for ever, and forsake us so long time? EZEKIEL 2 5 And they, whether they will hear, or whether they will FORBEAR, (for they are a rebellious house,) yet shall know that there hath been a prophet among them. 7 And thou shalt speak my words unto them, whether they will hear, or whether they will FORBEAR: for they are most rebellious. EZEKIEL 3 11 And go, get thee to them of the captivity, unto the children of thy people, and speak unto them, and tell them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; whether they will hear, or whether they will FORBEAR. 27 But when I speak with thee, I will open thy mouth, and thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; He that heareth, let him hear; and he that forbeareth, let him FORBEAR: for they are a rebellious house. EZEKIEL 17 8 It was planted in a good soil by great waters, that it might bring forth branches, and that it might bear FRUIT, that it might be a goodly vine. 9 Say thou, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Shall it prosper? shall he not pull up the roots thereof, and cut off the FRUIT thereof, that it wither? it shall wither in all the leaves of her spring, even without great power or many people to pluck it up by the roots thereof. 23 In the mountain of the height of Israel will I plant it: and it shall bring forth boughs, and bear FRUIT, and be a goodly cedar: and under it shall dwell all fowl of every wing; in the shadow of the branches thereof shall they dwell. EZEKIEL 19 12 But she was plucked up in fury, she was cast down to the ground, and the east wind dried up her FRUIT: her strong rods were broken and withered; the fire consumed them. 14 And fire is gone out of a rod of her branches, which hath devoured her FRUIT, so that she hath no strong rod to be a sceptre to rule. This is a lamentation, and shall be for a lamentation. EZEKIEL 24 17 FORBEAR to cry, make no mourning for the dead, bind the tire of thine head upon thee, and put on thy shoes upon thy feet, and cover not thy lips, and eat not the bread of men. EZEKIEL 25 4 Behold, therefore I will deliver thee to the men of the east for a possession, and they shall set their palaces in thee, and make their dwellings in thee: they shall eat thy FRUIT, and they shall drink thy milk. EZEKIEL 34 27 And the tree of the field shall yield her FRUIT, and the earth shall yield her increase, and they shall be safe in their land, and shall know that I am the LORD, when I have broken the bands of their yoke, and delivered them out of the hand of those that served themselves of them. EZEKIEL 36 8 But ye, O mountains of Israel, ye shall shoot forth your branches, and yield your FRUIT to my people of Israel; for they are at hand to come. 11 And I will multiply upon you man and beast; and they shall increase and bring FRUIT: and I will settle you after your old estates, and will do better unto you than at your beginnings: and ye shall know that I am the LORD. 30 And I will multiply the FRUIT of the tree, and the increase of the field, that ye shall receive no more reproach of famine among the heathen. --MORE-- |
