MATTHEW 25 25 And I was AFRAID, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine. MARK 9 6 For he wist not what to say; for they were sore AFRAID. 11 And they asked him, saying, Why say the SCRIBES that Elias must first come? 14 And when he came to his disciples, he saw a great multitude about them, and the SCRIBES questioning with them. 16 And he asked the SCRIBES, What question ye with them? 32 But they understood not that saying, and were AFRAID to ask him. MARK 10 32 And they were in the way going up to Jerusalem; and Jesus went before them: and they were amazed; and as they followed, they were AFRAID. And he took again the twelve, and began to tell them what things should happen unto him, 33 Saying, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be delivered unto the chief priests, and unto the SCRIBES; and they shall condemn him to death, and shall deliver him to the Gentiles: MARK 11 18 And the SCRIBES and chief priests heard it, and sought how they might destroy him: for they feared him, because all the people was astonished at his doctrine. 27 And they come again to Jerusalem: and as he was walking in the temple, there come to him the chief priests, and the SCRIBES, and the elders, MARK 12 28 And one of the SCRIBES came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all? 35 And Jesus answered and said, while he taught in the temple, How say the SCRIBES that Christ is the son of David? 38 And he said unto them in his doctrine, Beware of the SCRIBES, which love to go in long clothing, and love salutations in the marketplaces, MARK 14 1 After two days was the feast of the passover, and of unleavened bread: and the chief priests and the SCRIBES sought how they might take him by craft, and put him to death. 43 And immediately, while he yet spake, cometh Judas, one of the twelve, and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and the SCRIBES and the elders. 53 And they led Jesus away to the high priest: and with him were assembled all the chief priests and the elders and the SCRIBES. MARK 15 1 And straightway in the morning the chief priests held a consultation with the elders and SCRIBES and the whole council, and bound Jesus, and carried him away, and delivered him to Pilate. 31 Likewise also the chief priests mocking said among themselves with the SCRIBES, He saved others; himself he cannot save. MARK 16 8 And they went out quickly, and fled from the sepulchre; for they trembled and were amazed: neither said they any thing to any man; for they were AFRAID. LUKE 2 9 And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore AFRAID. And they being AFRAID wondered, saying one to another, What manner of man is this! for he commandeth even the winds and water, and they obey him. 35 Then they went out to see what was done; and came to Jesus, and found the man, out of whom the devils were departed, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed, and in his right mind: and they were AFRAID. LUKE 9 3 And he said unto them, Take nothing for your journey, neither staves, nor scrip, neither bread, neither money; neither have two coats APIECE. 22 Saying, The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders and chief priests and SCRIBES, and be slain, and be raised the third day. LUKE 11 44 Woe unto you, SCRIBES and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are as graves which appear not, and the men that walk over them are not aware of them. 53 And as he said these things unto them, the SCRIBES and the Pharisees began to urge him vehemently, and to provoke him to speak of many things: LUKE 12 4 And I say unto you my friends, Be not AFRAID of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. LUKE 15 2 And the Pharisees and SCRIBES murmured, saying, This man receiveth sinners, and eateth with them. LUKE 19 47 And he taught daily in the temple. But the chief priests and the SCRIBES and the chief of the people sought to destroy him, LUKE 20 1 And it came to pass, that on one of those days, as he taught the people in the temple, and preached the gospel, the chief priests and the SCRIBES came upon him with the elders, 19 And the chief priests and the SCRIBES the same hour sought to lay hands on him; and they feared the people: for they perceived that he had spoken this parable against them. 39 Then certain of the SCRIBES answering said, Master, thou hast well said. 46 Beware of the SCRIBES, which desire to walk in long robes, and love greetings in the markets, and the highest seats in the synagogues, and the chief rooms at feasts; --MORE-- |
