1 PETER 1 7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried WITH fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: 8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice WITH joy unspeakable and full of glory: 12 Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you WITH the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into. 18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed WITH corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; 19 But WITH the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: 22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another WITH a pure heart fervently: 1 PETER 2 15 For so is the will of God, that WITH well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men: 18 Servants, be subject to your masters WITH all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward. 20 For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable WITH God. 1 PETER 3 2 While they behold your chaste conversation coupled WITH fear. 6 Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not AFRAID WITH any amazement. 7 Likewise, ye husbands, dwell WITH them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered. 14 But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not AFRAID of their terror, neither be troubled; 15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you WITH meekness and fear: 1 PETER 4 1 Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise WITH the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; 4 Wherein they think it strange that ye run not WITH them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you: 13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also WITH exceeding joy. 1 PETER 5 5 Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed WITH humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble. 13 The church that is at Babylon, elected together WITH you, saluteth you; and so doth Marcus my son. 14 Greet ye one another WITH a kiss of charity. Peace be WITH you all that are in Christ Jesus. Amen. 2 PETER 1 1 Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith WITH us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ: 18 And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were WITH him in the holy mount. 2 PETER 2 3 And through covetousness shall they WITH feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not. 6 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them WITH an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly; 7 And delivered just Lot, vexed WITH the filthy conversation of the wicked: 8 (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day WITH their unlawful deeds;) 10 But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not AFRAID to speak evil of dignities. 13 And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves WITH their own deceivings while they feast WITH you; 14 Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised WITH covetous practices; cursed children: 16 But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking WITH man's voice forbad the madness of the prophet. 17 These are wells without water, clouds that are carried WITH a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever. 20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse WITH them than the beginning. 2 PETER 3 6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed WITH water, perished: 8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is WITH the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away WITH a great noise, and the elements shall melt WITH fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. 12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt WITH fervent heat? 17 Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away WITH the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness. 1 JOHN 1 1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen WITH our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; 2 (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was WITH the Father, and was manifested unto us;) 3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship WITH us: and truly our fellowship is WITH the Father, and WITH his Son Jesus Christ. 6 If we say that we have fellowship WITH him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one WITH another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. 1 JOHN 2 1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate WITH the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: 19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued WITH us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us. 23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: he that ACKNOWLEDGETH the Son hath the Father also. 2 JOHN 1 2 For the truth's sake, which dwelleth in us, and shall be WITH us for ever. 3 Grace be WITH you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love. 12 Having many things to write unto you, I would not write WITH paper and ink: but I trust to come unto you, and speak face to face, that our joy may be full. 3 JOHN 1 10 Wherefore, if I come, I will remember his deeds which he doeth, prating against us WITH malicious words: and not content therewith, neither doth he himself receive the brethren, and forbiddeth them that would, and casteth them out of the church. 13 I had many things to write, but I will not WITH ink and pen write unto thee: --MORE-- |
