GENESIS 33 1 And Jacob lifted up his eyes, and looked, and, behold, Esau came, and WITH him four hundred men. And he divided the children unto Leah, and unto Rachel, and unto the two handmaids. 5 And he lifted up his eyes, and saw the women and the children; and said, Who are those WITH thee? And he said, The children which God hath graciously given thy servant. 7 And Leah also WITH her children came near, and bowed themselves: and after came Joseph near and Rachel, and they bowed themselves. 10 And Jacob said, Nay, I pray thee, if now I have found grace in thy sight, then receive my present at my hand: for therefore I have seen thy face, as though I had seen the face of God, and thou wast pleased WITH me. 11 Take, I pray thee, my blessing that is brought to thee; because God hath dealt graciously WITH me, and because I have enough. And he urged him, and he took it. 13 And he said unto him, My lord knoweth that the children are tender, and the flocks and herds WITH young are WITH me: and if men should overdrive them one day, all the flock will die. 15 And Esau said, Let me now leave WITH thee some of the folk that are WITH me. And he said, What needeth it? let me find grace in the sight of my lord. GENESIS 34 2 And when Shechem the son of Hamor the Hivite, prince of the country, saw her, he took her, and lay WITH her, and defiled her. 5 And Jacob heard that he had defiled Dinah his daughter: now his sons were WITH his cattle in the field: and Jacob held his peace until they were come. 6 And Hamor the father of Shechem went out unto Jacob to commune WITH him. 7 And the sons of Jacob came out of the field when they heard it: and the men were grieved, and they were very wroth, because he had wrought folly in Israel in lying WITH Jacob's daughter: which thing ought not to be done. 8 And Hamor communed WITH them, saying, The soul of my son Shechem longeth for your daughter: I pray you give her him to wife. 9 And make ye marriages WITH us, and give your daughters unto us, and take our daughters unto you. 10 And ye shall dwell WITH us: and the land shall be before you; dwell and trade ye therein, and get you possessions therein. 16 Then will we give our daughters unto you, and we will take your daughters to us, and we will dwell WITH you, and we will become one people. 20 And Hamor and Shechem his son came unto the gate of their city, and communed WITH the men of their city, saying, 21 These men are peaceable WITH us; therefore let them dwell in the land, and trade therein; for the land, behold, it is large enough for them; let us take their daughters to us for wives, and let us give them our daughters. 22 Only herein will the men consent unto us for to dwell WITH us, to be one people, if every male among us be circumcised, as they are circumcised. 23 Shall not their cattle and their substance and every beast of their's be our's? only let us consent unto them, and they will dwell WITH us. 26 And they slew Hamor and Shechem his son WITH the edge of the sword, and took Dinah out of Shechem's house, and went out. 31 And they said, Should he deal WITH our sister as WITH an harlot? GENESIS 35 2 Then Jacob said unto his household, and to all that were WITH him, Put away the strange gods that are among you, and be clean, and change your garments: 3 And let us arise, and go up to Bethel; and I will make there an altar unto God, who answered me in the day of my distress, and was WITH me in the way which I went. 6 So Jacob came to Luz, which is in the land of Canaan, that is, Bethel, he and all the people that were WITH him. 13 And God went up from him in the place where he talked WITH him. 14 And Jacob set up a pillar in the place where he talked WITH him, even a pillar of stone: and he poured a drink offering thereon, and he poured oil thereon. 15 And Jacob called the name of the place where God spake WITH him, Bethel. 22 And it came to pass, when Israel dwelt in that land, that Reuben went and lay WITH Bilhah his father's concubine: and Israel heard it. Now the sons of Jacob were twelve: GENESIS 37 2 These are the generations of Jacob. Joseph, being seventeen years old, was feeding the flock WITH his brethren; and the lad was WITH the sons of Bilhah, and WITH the sons of Zilpah, his father's wives: and Joseph brought unto his father their evil report. 14 And he said to him, Go, I pray thee, see whether it be well WITH thy brethren, and well WITH the flocks; and bring me word again. So he sent him out of the vale of Hebron, and he came to Shechem. 25 And they sat down to eat bread: and they lifted up their eyes and looked, and, behold, a company of Ishmeelites came from Gilead WITH their camels bearing spicery and balm and myrrh, going to carry it down to Egypt. GENESIS 38 14 And she put her widow's garments off from her, and covered her WITH a vail, and wrapped herself, and sat in an open place, which is by the way to Timnath; for she saw that Shelah was grown, and she was not given unto him to wife. 24 And it came to pass about three months after, that it was told Judah, saying, Tamar thy daughter in law hath played the harlot; and also, behold, she is WITH child by whoredom. And Judah said, Bring her forth, and let her be burnt. 25 When she was brought forth, she sent to her father in law, saying, By the man, whose these are, am I WITH child: and she said, Discern, I pray thee, whose are these, the signet, and bracelets, and staff. GENESIS 39 2 And the LORD was WITH Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian. 3 And his master saw that the LORD was WITH him, and that the LORD made all that he did to prosper in his hand. 7 And it came to pass after these things, that his master's wife cast her eyes upon Joseph; and she said, Lie WITH me. 8 But he refused, and said unto his master's wife, Behold, my master wotteth not what is WITH me in the house, and he hath committed all that he hath to my hand; 10 And it came to pass, as she spake to Joseph day by day, that he hearkened not unto her, to lie by her, or to be WITH her. 12 And she caught him by his garment, saying, Lie WITH me: and he left his garment in her hand, and fled, and got him out. 14 That she called unto the men of her house, and spake unto them, saying, See, he hath brought in an Hebrew unto us to mock us; he came in unto me to lie WITH me, and I cried WITH a loud voice: 15 And it came to pass, when he heard that I lifted up my voice and cried, that he left his garment WITH me, and fled, and got him out. 18 And it came to pass, as I lifted up my voice and cried, that he left his garment WITH me, and fled out. 21 But the LORD was WITH Joseph, and shewed him mercy, and gave him favour in the sight of the keeper of the prison. 23 The keeper of the prison looked not to any thing that was under his hand; because the LORD was WITH him, and that which he did, the LORD made it to prosper. GENESIS 40 4 And the captain of the guard charged Joseph WITH them, and he served them: and they continued a season in ward. 7 And he asked Pharaoh's officers that were WITH him in the ward of his lord's house, saying, Wherefore look ye so sadly to day? 14 But think on me when it shall be well WITH thee, and shew kindness, I pray thee, unto me, and make mention of me unto Pharaoh, and bring me out of this house: GENESIS 41 6 And, behold, seven thin ears and blasted WITH the east wind sprung up after them. 10 Pharaoh was wroth WITH his servants, and put me in ward in the captain of the guard's house, both me and the chief baker: 12 And there was there WITH us a young man, an Hebrew, servant to the captain of the guard; and we told him, and he interpreted to us our dreams; to each man according to his dream he did interpret. 23 And, behold, seven ears, withered, thin, and blasted WITH the east wind, sprung up after them: 27 And the seven thin and ill favoured kine that came up after them are seven years; and the seven empty ears blasted WITH the east wind shall be seven years of famine. --MORE-- |
