1 CHRONICLES 15 15 And the children of the Levites bare the ark of God upon their shoulders WITH the staves thereon, as Moses commanded according to the word of the LORD. 16 And David spake to the chief of the Levites to appoint their brethren to be the singers WITH instruments of musick, psalteries and harps and cymbals, sounding, by lifting up the voice WITH joy. 18 And WITH them their brethren of the second degree, Zechariah, Ben, and Jaaziel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Unni, Eliab, and Benaiah, and Maaseiah, and Mattithiah, and Elipheleh, and Mikneiah, and Obededom, and Jeiel, the porters. 19 So the singers, Heman, Asaph, and Ethan, were appointed to sound WITH cymbals of brass; 20 And Zechariah, and Aziel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Unni, and Eliab, and Maaseiah, and Benaiah, WITH psalteries on Alamoth; 21 And Mattithiah, and Elipheleh, and Mikneiah, and Obededom, and Jeiel, and Azaziah, WITH harps on the Sheminith to excel. 24 And Shebaniah, and Jehoshaphat, and Nethaneel, and Amasai, and Zechariah, and Benaiah, and Eliezer, the priests, did blow WITH the trumpets before the ark of God: and Obededom and Jehiah were doorkeepers for the ark. 25 So David, and the elders of Israel, and the captains over thousands, went to bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of the house of Obededom WITH joy. 27 And David was clothed WITH a robe of fine linen, and all the Levites that bare the ark, and the singers, and Chenaniah the master of the song WITH the singers: David also had upon him an ephod of linen. 28 Thus all Israel brought up the ark of the covenant of the LORD WITH shouting, and WITH sound of the cornet, and WITH trumpets, and WITH cymbals, making a noise WITH psalteries and harps. 1 CHRONICLES 16 5 Asaph the chief, and next to him Zechariah, Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obededom: and Jeiel WITH psalteries and WITH harps; but Asaph made a sound WITH cymbals; 6 Benaiah also and Jahaziel the priests WITH trumpets continually before the ark of the covenant of God. 16 Even of the covenant which he made WITH Abraham, and of his oath unto Isaac; 38 And Obededom WITH their brethren, threescore and eight; Obededom also the son of Jeduthun and Hosah to be porters: 41 And WITH them Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest that were chosen, who were expressed by name, to give thanks to the LORD, because his mercy endureth for ever; 42 And WITH them Heman and Jeduthun WITH trumpets and cymbals for those that should make a sound, and WITH musical instruments of God. Now Ornan was threshing wheat. 21 And as David came to Ornan, Ornan looked and saw David, and went out of the threshingfloor, and bowed himself to David WITH his face to the ground. 30 But David could not go before it to enquire of God: for he was AFRAID because of the sword of the angel of the LORD. 1 CHRONICLES 22 11 Now, my son, the LORD be WITH thee; and prosper thou, and build the house of the LORD thy God, as he hath said of thee. 13 Then shalt thou prosper, if thou takest heed to fulfil the statutes and judgments which the LORD charged Moses WITH concerning Israel: be strong, and of good courage; dread not, nor be dismayed. 15 Moreover there are workmen WITH thee in abundance, hewers and workers of stone and timber, and all manner of cunning men for every manner of work. 16 Of the gold, the silver, and the brass, and the iron, there is no number. Arise therefore, and be doing, and the LORD be WITH thee. 18 Is not the LORD your God WITH you? and hath he not given you rest on every side? for he hath given the inhabitants of the land into mine hand; and the land is subdued before the LORD, and before his people. 1 CHRONICLES 23 2 And he gathered together all the princes of Israel, WITH the priests and the Levites. 5 Moreover four thousand were porters; and four thousand praised the LORD WITH the instruments which I made, said David, to praise therewith. 1 CHRONICLES 24 5 Thus were they divided by lot, one sort WITH another; for the governors of the sanctuary, and governors of the house of God, were of the sons of Eleazar, and of the sons of Ithamar. 1 CHRONICLES 25 1 Moreover David and the captains of the host separated to the service of the sons of Asaph, and of Heman, and of Jeduthun, who should prophesy WITH harps, WITH psalteries, and WITH cymbals: and the number of the workmen according to their service was: 3 Of Jeduthun: the sons of Jeduthun; Gedaliah, and Zeri, and Jeshaiah, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six, under the hands of their father Jeduthun, who prophesied WITH a harp, to give thanks and to praise the LORD. 6 All these were under the hands of their father for song in the house of the LORD, WITH cymbals, psalteries, and harps, for the service of the house of God, according to the king's order to Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman. 7 So the number of them, WITH their brethren that were instructed in the songs of the LORD, even all that were cunning, was two hundred fourscore and eight. 9 Now the first lot came forth for Asaph to Joseph: the second to Gedaliah, who WITH his brethren and sons were twelve: 1 CHRONICLES 26 16 To Shuppim and Hosah the lot came forth westward, WITH the gate Shallecheth, by the causeway of the going up, ward against ward. 1 CHRONICLES 27 32 Also Jonathan David's uncle was a counsellor, a wise man, and a scribe: and Jehiel the son of Hachmoni was WITH the king's sons: 1 CHRONICLES 28 1 And David assembled all the princes of Israel, the princes of the tribes, and the captains of the companies that ministered to the king by course, and the captains over the thousands, and captains over the hundreds, and the stewards over all the substance and possession of the king, and of his sons, WITH the officers, and WITH the mighty men, and WITH all the valiant men, unto Jerusalem. 9 And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him WITH a perfect heart and WITH a willing mind: for the LORD searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever. 20 And David said to Solomon his son, Be strong and of good courage, and do it: fear not, nor be dismayed: for the LORD God, even my God, will be WITH thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee, until thou hast finished all the work for the service of the house of the LORD. 21 And, behold, the courses of the priests and the Levites, even they shall be WITH thee for all the service of the house of God: and there shall be WITH thee for all manner of workmanship every willing skilful man, for any manner of service: also the princes and all the people will be wholly at thy commandment. --MORE-- |
