ISAIAH 17 2 The cities of Aroer are forsaken: they shall be for flocks, which shall lie down, and none shall make them AFRAID. 5 And it shall be as when the harvestman gathereth the corn, and reapeth the ears WITH his arm; and it shall be as he that gathereth ears in the valley of Rephaim. 10 Because thou hast forgotten the God of thy salvation, and hast not been mindful of the rock of thy strength, therefore shalt thou plant pleasant plants, and shalt set it WITH strange slips: ISAIAH 18 1 Woe to the land shadowing WITH wings, which is beyond the rivers of Ethiopia: 5 For afore the harvest, when the bud is perfect, and the sour grape is ripening in the flower, he shall both cut off the sprigs WITH pruning hooks, and take away and cut down the branches. ISAIAH 19 16 In that day shall Egypt be like unto women: and it shall be AFRAID and fear because of the shaking of the hand of the LORD of hosts, which he shaketh over it. 17 And the land of Judah shall be a terror unto Egypt, every one that maketh mention thereof shall be AFRAID in himself, because of the counsel of the LORD of hosts, which he hath determined against it. 23 In that day shall there be a highway out of Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrian shall come into Egypt, and the Egyptian into Assyria, and the Egyptians shall serve WITH the Assyrians. 24 In that day shall Israel be the third WITH Egypt and WITH Assyria, even a blessing in the midst of the land: ISAIAH 20 4 So shall the king of Assyria lead away the Egyptians prisoners, and the Ethiopians captives, young and old, naked and barefoot, even WITH their buttocks uncovered, to the shame of Egypt. 5 And they shall be AFRAID and ashamed of Ethiopia their expectation, and of Egypt their glory. ISAIAH 21 3 Therefore are my loins filled WITH pain: pangs have taken hold upon me, as the pangs of a woman that travaileth: I was bowed down at the hearing of it; I was dismayed at the seeing of it. 7 And he saw a chariot WITH a couple of horsemen, a chariot of asses, and a chariot of camels; and he hearkened diligently WITH much heed: 9 And, behold, here cometh a chariot of men, WITH a couple of horsemen. And he answered and said, Babylon is fallen, is fallen; and all the graven images of her gods he hath broken unto the ground. 14 The inhabitants of the land of Tema brought water to him that was thirsty, they prevented WITH their bread him that fled. ISAIAH 22 2 Thou that art full of stirs, a tumultuous city, joyous city: thy slain men are not slain WITH the sword, nor dead in battle. 6 And Elam bare the quiver WITH chariots of men and horsemen, and Kir uncovered the shield. 12 And in that day did the Lord GOD of hosts call to weeping, and to mourning, and to baldness, and to girding WITH sackcloth: 17 Behold, the LORD will carry thee away WITH a mighty captivity, and will surely cover thee. 21 And I will clothe him WITH thy robe, and strengthen him WITH thy girdle, and I will commit thy government into his hand: and he shall be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to the house of Judah. ISAIAH 23 17 And it shall come to pass after the end of seventy years, that the LORD will visit Tyre, and she shall turn to her hire, and shall commit fornication WITH all the kingdoms of the world upon the face of the earth. ISAIAH 24 2 And it shall be, as WITH the people, so WITH the priest; as WITH the servant, so WITH his master; as WITH the maid, so WITH her mistress; as WITH the buyer, so WITH the seller; as WITH the lender, so WITH the borrower; as WITH the taker of usury, so WITH the giver of usury to him. 9 They shall not drink wine WITH a song; strong drink shall be bitter to them that drink it. 12 In the city is left desolation, and the gate is smitten WITH destruction. ISAIAH 25 5 Thou shalt bring down the noise of strangers, as the heat in a dry place; even the heat WITH the shadow of a cloud: the branch of the terrible ones shall be brought low. 11 And he shall spread forth his hands in the midst of them, as he that swimmeth spreadeth forth his hands to swim: and he shall bring down their pride together WITH the spoils of their hands. ISAIAH 26 9 WITH my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, WITH my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness. 17 Like as a woman WITH child, that draweth near the time of her delivery, is in pain, and crieth out in her pangs; so have we been in thy sight, O LORD. 18 We have been WITH child, we have been in pain, we have as it were brought forth wind; we have not wrought any deliverance in the earth; neither have the inhabitants of the world fallen. 19 Thy dead men shall live, together WITH my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead. ISAIAH 27 1 In that day the LORD WITH his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea. 5 Or let him take hold of my strength, that he may make peace WITH me; and he shall make peace WITH me. 6 He shall cause them that come of Jacob to take root: Israel shall blossom and bud, and fill the face of the world WITH fruit. 8 In measure, when it shooteth forth, thou wilt debate WITH it: he stayeth his rough wind in the day of the east wind. ISAIAH 28 1 Woe to the crown of pride, to the drunkards of Ephraim, whose glorious beauty is a fading flower, which are on the head of the fat valleys of them that are overcome WITH wine! 2 Behold, the Lord hath a mighty and strong one, which as a tempest of hail and a destroying storm, as a flood of mighty waters overflowing, shall cast down to the earth WITH the hand. 11 For WITH stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people. 15 Because ye have said, We have made a covenant WITH death, and WITH hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves: 18 And your covenant WITH death shall be disannulled, and your agreement WITH hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it. 27 For the fitches are not threshed WITH a threshing instrument, neither is a cart wheel turned about upon the cummin; but the fitches are beaten out WITH a staff, and the cummin WITH a rod. 28 Bread corn is bruised; because he will not ever be threshing it, nor break it WITH the wheel of his cart, nor bruise it WITH his horsemen. ISAIAH 29 3 And I will camp against thee round about, and will lay siege against thee WITH a mount, and I will raise forts against thee. 6 Thou shalt be visited of the LORD of hosts WITH thunder, and WITH earthquake, and great noise, WITH storm and tempest, and the flame of devouring fire. 9 Stay yourselves, and wonder; cry ye out, and cry: they are drunken, but not WITH wine; they stagger, but not WITH strong drink. 13 Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me WITH their mouth, and WITH their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men: ISAIAH 30 1 Woe to the rebellious children, saith the LORD, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover WITH a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin: 24 The oxen likewise and the young asses that ear the ground shall eat clean provender, which hath been winnowed WITH the shovel and WITH the fan. 27 Behold, the name of the LORD cometh from far, burning WITH his anger, and the burden thereof is heavy: his lips are full of indignation, and his tongue as a devouring fire: 28 And his breath, as an overflowing stream, shall reach to the midst of the neck, to sift the nations WITH the sieve of vanity: and there shall be a bridle in the jaws of the people, causing them to err. 29 Ye shall have a song, as in the night when a holy solemnity is kept; and gladness of heart, as when one goeth WITH a pipe to come into the mountain of the LORD, to the mighty One of Israel. 30 And the LORD shall cause his glorious voice to be heard, and shall shew the lighting down of his arm, WITH the indignation of his anger, and WITH the flame of a devouring fire, WITH scattering, and tempest, and hailstones. 31 For through the voice of the LORD shall the Assyrian be beaten down, which smote WITH a rod. 32 And in every place where the grounded staff shall pass, which the LORD shall lay upon him, it shall be WITH tabrets and harps: and in battles of shaking will he fight WITH it. --MORE-- |
