ISAIAH 35 2 It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even WITH joy and singing: the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon, they shall see the glory of the LORD, and the excellency of our God. 4 Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come WITH vengeance, even God WITH a recompence; he will come and save you. 7 And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water: in the habitation of dragons, where each lay, shall be grass WITH reeds and rushes. 10 And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion WITH songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away. ISAIAH 36 2 And the king of Assyria sent Rabshakeh from Lachish to Jerusalem unto king Hezekiah WITH a great army. And he stood by the conduit of the upper pool in the highway of the fuller's field. 12 But Rabshakeh said, Hath my master sent me to thy master and to thee to speak these words? hath he not sent me to the men that sit upon the wall, that they may eat their own dung, and drink their own piss WITH you? 13 Then Rabshakeh stood, and cried WITH a loud voice in the Jews' language, and said, Hear ye the words of the great king, the king of Assyria. 16 Hearken not to Hezekiah: for thus saith the king of Assyria, Make an agreement WITH me by a present, and come out to me: and eat ye every one of his vine, and every one of his fig tree, and drink ye every one the waters of his own cistern; 22 Then came Eliakim, the son of Hilkiah, that was over the household, and Shebna the scribe, and Joah, the son of Asaph, the recorder, to Hezekiah WITH their clothes rent, and told him the words of Rabshakeh. ISAIAH 37 1 And it came to pass, when king Hezekiah heard it, that he rent his clothes, and covered himself WITH sackcloth, and went into the house of the LORD. 2 And he sent Eliakim, who was over the household, and Shebna the scribe, and the elders of the priests covered WITH sackcloth, unto Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz. 6 And Isaiah said unto them, Thus shall ye say unto your master, Thus saith the LORD, Be not AFRAID of the words that thou hast heard, wherewith the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me. 9 And he heard say concerning Tirhakah king of Ethiopia, He is come forth to make war WITH thee. And when he heard it, he sent messengers to Hezekiah, saying, 25 I have digged, and drunk water; and WITH the sole of my feet have I dried up all the rivers of the besieged places. 33 Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning the king of Assyria, He shall not come into this city, nor shoot an arrow there, nor come before it WITH shields, nor cast a bank against it. 38 And it came to pass, as he was worshipping in the house of Nisroch his god, that Adrammelech and Sharezer his sons smote him WITH the sword; and they escaped into the land of Armenia: and Esarhaddon his son reigned in his stead. ISAIAH 38 3 And said, Remember now, O LORD, I beseech thee, how I have walked before thee in truth and WITH a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore. 11 I said, I shall not see the LORD, even the LORD, in the land of the living: I shall behold man no more WITH the inhabitants of the world. 12 Mine age is departed, and is removed from me as a shepherd's tent: I have cut off like a weaver my life: he will cut me off WITH pining sickness: from day even to night wilt thou make an end of me. 14 Like a crane or a swallow, so did I chatter: I did mourn as a dove: mine eyes fail WITH looking upward: O LORD, I am oppressed; undertake for me. ISAIAH 40 9 O Zion, that bringest good tidings, get thee up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that bringest good tidings, lift up thy voice WITH strength; lift it up, be not AFRAID; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God! 10 Behold, the Lord GOD will come WITH strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward is WITH him, and his work before him. 11 He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs WITH his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are WITH young. 12 Who hath measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and meted out heaven WITH the span, and comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance? 14 WITH whom took he counsel, and who instructed him, and taught him in the path of judgment, and taught him knowledge, and shewed to him the way of understanding? 19 The workman melteth a graven image, and the goldsmith spreadeth it over WITH gold, and casteth silver chains. 31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up WITH wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. ISAIAH 41 3 He pursued them, and passed safely; even by the way that he had not gone WITH his feet. 4 Who hath wrought and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I the LORD, the first, and WITH the last; I am he. 5 The isles saw it, and feared; the ends of the earth were AFRAID, drew near, and came. 7 So the carpenter encouraged the goldsmith, and he that smootheth WITH the hammer him that smote the anvil, saying, It is ready for the sodering: and he fastened it WITH nails, that it should not be moved. 10 Fear thou not; for I am WITH thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee WITH the right hand of my righteousness. 11 Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive WITH thee shall perish. 12 Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, even them that contended WITH thee: they that war against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought. ISAIAH 43 2 When thou passest through the waters, I will be WITH thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. 5 Fear not: for I am WITH thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west; 23 Thou hast not brought me the small cattle of thy burnt offerings; neither hast thou honoured me WITH thy sacrifices. I have not caused thee to serve WITH an offering, nor wearied thee WITH incense. 24 Thou hast bought me no sweet cane WITH money, neither hast thou filled me WITH the fat of thy sacrifices: but thou hast made me to serve WITH thy sins, thou hast wearied me WITH thine iniquities. ISAIAH 44 5 One shall say, I am the LORD's; and another shall call himself by the name of Jacob; and another shall subscribe WITH his hand unto the LORD, and surname himself by the name of Israel. 8 Fear ye not, neither be AFRAID: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any. 12 The smith WITH the tongs both worketh in the coals, and fashioneth it WITH hammers, and worketh it WITH the strength of his arms: yea, he is hungry, and his strength faileth: he drinketh no water, and is faint. 13 The carpenter stretcheth out his rule; he marketh it out WITH a line; he fitteth it WITH planes, and he marketh it out WITH the compass, and maketh it after the figure of a man, according to the beauty of a man; that it may remain in the house. 16 He burneth part thereof in the fire; WITH part thereof he eateth flesh; he roasteth roast, and is satisfied: yea, he warmeth himself, and saith, Aha, I am warm, I have seen the fire: ISAIAH 45 9 Woe unto him that striveth WITH his Maker! Let the potsherd strive WITH the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands? 17 But Israel shall be saved in the LORD WITH an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end. ISAIAH 47 6 I was wroth WITH my people, I have polluted mine inheritance, and given them into thine hand: thou didst shew them no mercy; upon the ancient hast thou very heavily laid thy yoke. 12 Stand now WITH thine enchantments, and WITH the multitude of thy sorceries, wherein thou hast laboured from thy youth; if so be thou shalt be able to profit, if so be thou mayest prevail. 15 Thus shall they be unto thee WITH whom thou hast laboured, even thy merchants, from thy youth: they shall wander every one to his quarter; none shall save thee. ISAIAH 48 10 Behold, I have refined thee, but not WITH silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction. 20 Go ye forth of Babylon, flee ye from the Chaldeans, WITH a voice of singing declare ye, tell this, utter it even to the end of the earth; say ye, The LORD hath redeemed his servant Jacob. --MORE-- |
