EZEKIEL 2 6 And thou, son of man, be not AFRAID of them, neither be AFRAID of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not AFRAID of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house. EZEKIEL 4 14 Then said I, Ah Lord GOD! behold, my soul hath not been polluted: for from my youth up even till now have I not eaten of that which dieth of itself, or is torn in PIECES; neither came there abominable flesh into my mouth. EZEKIEL 13 19 And will ye pollute me among my people for handfuls of barley and for PIECES of bread, to slay the souls that should not die, and to save the souls alive that should not live, by your lying to my people that hear your lies? EZEKIEL 24 4 Gather the PIECES thereof into it, even every good piece, the thigh, and the shoulder; fill it with the choice bones. EZEKIEL 27 35 All the inhabitants of the isles shall be astonished at thee, and their kings shall be sore AFRAID, they shall be troubled in their countenance. EZEKIEL 30 9 In that day shall messengers go forth from me in ships to make the careless Ethiopians AFRAID, and great pain shall come upon them, as in the day of Egypt: for, lo, it cometh. EZEKIEL 32 10 Yea, I will make many people amazed at thee, and their kings shall be horribly AFRAID for thee, when I shall brandish my sword before them; and they shall tremble at every moment, every man for his own life, in the day of thy fall. EZEKIEL 34 28 And they shall no more be a prey to the heathen, neither shall the beast of the land devour them; but they shall dwell safely, and none shall make them AFRAID. EZEKIEL 39 26 After that they have borne their shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and none made them AFRAID. DANIEL 2 5 The king answered and said to the Chaldeans, The thing is gone from me: if ye will not make known unto me the dream, with the interpretation thereof, ye shall be cut in PIECES, and your houses shall be made a dunghill. 34 Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to PIECES. 35 Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to PIECES together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth. 40 And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in PIECES and subdueth all things: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in PIECES and bruise. 44 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in PIECES and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever. 45 Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in PIECES the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure. DANIEL 3 29 Therefore I make a decree, That every people, nation, and language, which speak any thing amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, shall be cut in PIECES, and their houses shall be made a dunghill: because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort. DANIEL 4 5 I saw a dream which made me AFRAID, and the thoughts upon my bed and the visions of my head troubled me. DANIEL 6 24 And the king commanded, and they brought those men which had accused Daniel, and they cast them into the den of lions, them, their children, and their wives; and the lions had the mastery of them, and brake all their bones in PIECES or ever they came at the bottom of the den. DANIEL 7 7 After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in PIECES, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns. 19 Then I would know the truth of the fourth beast, which was diverse from all the others, exceeding dreadful, whose teeth were of iron, and his nails of brass; which devoured, brake in PIECES, and stamped the residue with his feet; 23 Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in PIECES. DANIEL 8 17 So he came near where I stood: and when he came, I was AFRAID, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man: for at the time of the end shall be the vision. HOSEA 3 2 So I bought her to me for fifteen PIECES of silver, and for an homer of barley, and an half homer of barley: HOSEA 8 6 For from Israel was it also: the workman made it; therefore it is not God: but the calf of Samaria shall be broken in PIECES. HOSEA 10 14 Therefore shall a tumult arise among thy people, and all thy fortresses shall be spoiled, as Shalman spoiled Betharbel in the day of battle: the mother was dashed in PIECES upon her children. HOSEA 13 16 Samaria shall become desolate; for she hath rebelled against her God: they shall fall by the sword: their infants shall be dashed in PIECES, and their women with child shall be ripped up. JOEL 2 22 Be not AFRAID, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength. AMOS 3 6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be AFRAID? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it? JONAH 1 5 Then the mariners were AFRAID, and cried every man unto his god, and cast forth the wares that were in the ship into the sea, to lighten it of them. But Jonah was gone down into the sides of the ship; and he lay, and was fast asleep. 10 Then were the men exceedingly AFRAID, and said unto him. Why hast thou done this? For the men knew that he fled from the presence of the LORD, because he had told them. MICAH 1 7 And all the graven images thereof shall be beaten to PIECES, and all the hires thereof shall be burned with the fire, and all the idols thereof will I lay desolate: for she gathered it of the hire of an harlot, and they shall return to the hire of an harlot. MICAH 3 3 Who also eat the flesh of my people, and flay their skin from off them; and they break their bones, and chop them in PIECES, as for the pot, and as flesh within the caldron. MICAH 4 4 But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them AFRAID: for the mouth of the LORD of hosts hath spoken it. 13 Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion: for I will make thine horn iron, and I will make thy hoofs brass: and thou shalt beat in PIECES many people: and I will consecrate their gain unto the LORD, and their substance unto the Lord of the whole earth. MICAH 5 8 And the remnant of Jacob shall be among the Gentiles in the midst of many people as a lion among the beasts of the forest, as a young lion among the flocks of sheep: who, if he go through, both treadeth down, and teareth in PIECES, and none can deliver. MICAH 7 17 They shall lick the dust like a serpent, they shall move out of their holes like worms of the earth: they shall be AFRAID of the LORD our God, and shall fear because of thee. NAHUM 2 1 He that dasheth in PIECES is come up before thy face: keep the munition, watch the way, make thy loins strong, fortify thy power mightily. 11 Where is the dwelling of the lions, and the feedingplace of the young lions, where the lion, even the old lion, walked, and the lion's whelp, and none made them AFRAID? 12 The lion did tear in PIECES enough for his whelps, and strangled for his lionesses, and filled his holes with prey, and his dens with ravin. NAHUM 3 10 Yet was she carried away, she went into captivity: her young children also were dashed in PIECES at the top of all the streets: and they cast lots for her honourable men, and all her great men were bound in chains. HABAKKUK 2 17 For the violence of Lebanon shall cover thee, and the spoil of beasts, which made them AFRAID, because of men's blood, and for the violence of the land, of the city, and of all that dwell therein. HABAKKUK 3 2 O LORD, I have heard thy speech, and was AFRAID: O LORD, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy. ZEPHANIAH 3 13 The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity, nor speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth: for they shall feed and lie down, and none shall make them AFRAID. ZECHARIAH 11 12 And I said unto them, If ye think good, give me my price; and if not, forbear. So they weighed for my price thirty PIECES of silver. 13 And the LORD said unto me, Cast it unto the potter: a goodly price that I was prised at of them. And I took the thirty PIECES of silver, and cast them to the potter in the house of the LORD. 16 For, lo, I will raise up a shepherd in the land, which shall not visit those that be cut off, neither shall seek the young one, nor heal that that is broken, nor feed that that standeth still: but he shall eat the flesh of the fat, and tear their claws in PIECES. ZECHARIAH 12 3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in PIECES, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it. MALACHI 2 5 My covenant was with him of life and peace; and I gave them to him for the fear wherewith he feared me, and was AFRAID before my name. MATTHEW 2 22 But when he heard that Archelaus did reign in Judaea in the room of his father Herod, he was AFRAID to go thither: notwithstanding, being warned of God in a dream, he turned aside into the parts of Galilee: MATTHEW 14 27 But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not AFRAID. 30 But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was AFRAID; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. --MORE-- |
