DANIEL 6 5 Then said these men, We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, except we find it against him concerning the LAW of his God. 8 Now, O king, establish the decree, and sign the writing, that it be not changed, according to the LAW of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not. 12 Then they came near, and spake before the king concerning the king's decree; Hast thou not signed a decree, that every man that shall ask a petition of any God or man within thirty days, save of thee, O king, shall be cast into the den of lions? The king answered and said, The thing is true, according to the LAW of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not. 15 Then these men assembled unto the king, and said unto the king, Know, O king, that the LAW of the Medes and Persians is, That no decree nor statute which the king establisheth may be changed. DANIEL 8 17 So he came near where I stood: and when he came, I was AFRAID, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man: for at the time of the end shall be the vision. DANIEL 9 11 Yea, all Israel have transgressed thy LAW, even by departing, that they might not obey thy voice; therefore the curse is poured upon us, and the oath that is written in the LAW of Moses the servant of God, because we have sinned against him. 13 As it is written in the LAW of Moses, all this evil is come upon us: yet made we not our prayer before the LORD our God, that we might turn from our iniquities, and understand thy truth. HOSEA 4 6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the LAW of thy God, I will also forget thy children. HOSEA 8 1 Set the trumpet to thy mouth. He shall come as an eagle against the house of the LORD, because they have transgressed my covenant, and trespassed against my LAW. 12 I have written to him the great things of my LAW, but they were counted as a strange thing. JOEL 2 22 Be not AFRAID, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength. AMOS 2 4 Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Judah, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have despised the LAW of the LORD, and have not kept his commandments, and their lies caused them to err, after the which their fathers have walked: AMOS 3 6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be AFRAID? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it? JONAH 1 5 Then the mariners were AFRAID, and cried every man unto his god, and cast forth the wares that were in the ship into the sea, to lighten it of them. But Jonah was gone down into the sides of the ship; and he lay, and was fast asleep. 10 Then were the men exceedingly AFRAID, and said unto him. Why hast thou done this? For the men knew that he fled from the presence of the LORD, because he had told them. MICAH 4 2 And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the LAW shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. 4 But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them AFRAID: for the mouth of the LORD of hosts hath spoken it. MICAH 7 6 For the son dishonoureth the father, the daughter riseth up against her mother, the daughter in LAW against her mother in LAW; a man's enemies are the men of his own house. 17 They shall lick the dust like a serpent, they shall move out of their holes like worms of the earth: they shall be AFRAID of the LORD our God, and shall fear because of thee. NAHUM 2 11 Where is the dwelling of the lions, and the feedingplace of the young lions, where the lion, even the old lion, walked, and the lion's whelp, and none made them AFRAID? HABAKKUK 1 4 Therefore the LAW is slacked, and judgment doth never go forth: for the wicked doth compass about the righteous; therefore wrong judgment proceedeth. HABAKKUK 2 17 For the violence of Lebanon shall cover thee, and the spoil of beasts, which made them AFRAID, because of men's blood, and for the violence of the land, of the city, and of all that dwell therein. HABAKKUK 3 2 O LORD, I have heard thy speech, and was AFRAID: O LORD, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy. ZEPHANIAH 3 4 Her prophets are light and treacherous persons: her priests have polluted the sanctuary, they have done violence to the LAW. 13 The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity, nor speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth: for they shall feed and lie down, and none shall make them AFRAID. HAGGAI 2 11 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Ask now the priests concerning the LAW, saying, ZECHARIAH 7 12 Yea, they made their hearts as an adamant stone, lest they should hear the LAW, and the words which the LORD of hosts hath sent in his spirit by the former prophets: therefore came a great wrath from the LORD of hosts. MALACHI 2 5 My covenant was with him of life and peace; and I gave them to him for the fear wherewith he feared me, and was AFRAID before my name. 6 The LAW of truth was in his mouth, and iniquity was not found in his lips: he walked with me in peace and equity, and did turn many away from iniquity. 7 For the priest's lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the LAW at his mouth: for he is the messenger of the LORD of hosts. 8 But ye are departed out of the way; ye have caused many to stumble at the LAW; ye have corrupted the covenant of Levi, saith the LORD of hosts. 9 Therefore have I also made you contemptible and base before all the people, according as ye have not kept my ways, but have been partial in the LAW. MALACHI 4 4 Remember ye the LAW of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments. MATTHEW 2 22 But when he heard that Archelaus did reign in Judaea in the room of his father Herod, he was AFRAID to go thither: notwithstanding, being warned of God in a dream, he turned aside into the parts of Galilee: MATTHEW 5 17 Think not that I am come to destroy the LAW, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the LAW, till all be fulfilled. 40 And if any man will sue thee at the LAW, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloak also. MATTHEW 7 12 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the LAW and the prophets. MATTHEW 10 35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in LAW against her mother in LAW. MATTHEW 11 13 For all the prophets and the LAW prophesied until John. MATTHEW 12 5 Or have ye not read in the LAW, how that on the sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the sabbath, and are blameless? MATTHEW 14 27 But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not AFRAID. 30 But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was AFRAID; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. MATTHEW 17 6 And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore AFRAID. 7 And Jesus came and touched them, and said, Arise, and be not AFRAID. MATTHEW 22 36 Master, which is the great commandment in the LAW? 40 On these two commandments hang all the LAW and the prophets. MATTHEW 23 23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the LAW, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone. MATTHEW 25 25 And I was AFRAID, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine.
