JOHN 10 34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your LAW, I said, Ye are gods? JOHN 12 34 The people answered him, We have heard out of the LAW that Christ abideth for ever: and how sayest thou, The Son of man must be lifted up? who is this Son of man? JOHN 14 27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be AFRAID. JOHN 15 25 But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their LAW, They hated me without a cause. JOHN 18 13 And led him away to Annas first; for he was father in LAW to Caiaphas, which was the high priest that same year. 31 Then said Pilate unto them, Take ye him, and judge him according to your LAW. The Jews therefore said unto him, It is not lawful for us to put any man to death: JOHN 19 7 The Jews answered him, We have a LAW, and by our LAW he ought to die, because he made himself the Son of God. 8 When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he was the more AFRAID; ACTS 5 34 Then stood there up one in the council, a Pharisee, named Gamaliel, a doctor of the LAW, had in reputation among all the people, and commanded to put the apostles forth a little space; ACTS 6 13 And set up false witnesses, which said, This man ceaseth not to speak blasphemous words against this holy place, and the LAW: ACTS 7 53 Who have received the LAW by the disposition of angels, and have not kept it. ACTS 9 26 And when Saul was come to Jerusalem, he assayed to join himself to the disciples: but they were all AFRAID of him, and believed not that he was a disciple. ACTS 10 4 And when he looked on him, he was AFRAID, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God. ACTS 13 15 And after the reading of the LAW and the prophets the rulers of the synagogue sent unto them, saying, Ye men and brethren, if ye have any word of exhortation for the people, say on. 39 And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the LAW of Moses. ACTS 15 5 But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed, saying, That it was needful to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the LAW of Moses. 24 Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the LAW: to whom we gave no such commandment: ACTS 18 9 Then spake the Lord to Paul in the night by a vision, Be not AFRAID, but speak, and hold not thy peace: 13 Saying, This fellow persuadeth men to worship God contrary to the LAW. 15 But if it be a question of words and names, and of your LAW, look ye to it; for I will be no judge of such matters. ACTS 19 38 Wherefore if Demetrius, and the craftsmen which are with him, have a matter against any man, the LAW is open, and there are deputies: let them implead one another. ACTS 21 20 And when they heard it, they glorified the Lord, and said unto him, Thou seest, brother, how many thousands of Jews there are which believe; and they are all zealous of the LAW: 24 Them take, and purify thyself with them, and be at charges with them, that they may shave their heads: and all may know that those things, whereof they were informed concerning thee, are nothing; but that thou thyself also walkest orderly, and keepest the LAW. 28 Crying out, Men of Israel, help: This is the man, that teacheth all men every where against the people, and the LAW, and this place: and further brought Greeks also into the temple, and hath polluted this holy place. ACTS 22 3 I am verily a man which am a Jew, born in Tarsus, a city in Cilicia, yet brought up in this city at the feet of Gamaliel, and taught according to the perfect manner of the LAW of the fathers, and was zealous toward God, as ye all are this day. 9 And they that were with me saw indeed the light, and were AFRAID; but they heard not the voice of him that spake to me. 12 And one Ananias, a devout man according to the LAW, having a good report of all the Jews which dwelt there, 29 Then straightway they departed from him which should have examined him: and the chief captain also was AFRAID, after he knew that he was a Roman, and because he had bound him. ACTS 23 3 Then said Paul unto him, God shall smite thee, thou whited wall: for sittest thou to judge me after the LAW, and commandest me to be smitten contrary to the LAW? 29 Whom I perceived to be accused of questions of their LAW, but to have nothing laid to his charge worthy of death or of bonds. ACTS 24 6 Who also hath gone about to profane the temple: whom we took, and would have judged according to our LAW. 14 But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the LAW and in the prophets: ACTS 25 8 While he answered for himself, Neither against the LAW of the Jews, neither against the temple, nor yet against Caesar, have I offended any thing at all. ACTS 28 23 And when they had appointed him a day, there came many to him into his lodging; to whom he expounded and testified the kingdom of God, persuading them concerning Jesus, both out of the LAW of Moses, and out of the prophets, from morning till evening. ROMANS 2 12 For as many as have sinned without LAW shall also perish without LAW: and as many as have sinned in the LAW shall be judged by the LAW; 13 (For not the hearers of the LAW are just before God, but the doers of the LAW shall be justified. 14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the LAW, do by nature the things contained in the LAW, these, having not the LAW, are a LAW unto themselves: 15 Which shew the work of the LAW written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;) 17 Behold, thou art called a Jew, and restest in the LAW, and makest thy boast of God, 18 And knowest his will, and approvest the things that are more excellent, being instructed out of the LAW; 20 An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which hast the form of knowledge and of the truth in the LAW. 23 Thou that makest thy boast of the LAW, through breaking the LAW dishonourest thou God? 25 For circumcision verily profiteth, if thou keep the LAW: but if thou be a breaker of the LAW, thy circumcision is made uncircumcision. 26 Therefore if the uncircumcision keep the righteousness of the LAW, shall not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision? 27 And shall not uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfil the LAW, judge thee, who by the letter and circumcision dost transgress the LAW? ROMANS 3 19 Now we know that what things soever the LAW saith, it saith to them who are under the LAW: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. 20 Therefore by the deeds of the LAW there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the LAW is the knowledge of sin. 21 But now the righteousness of God without the LAW is manifested, being witnessed by the LAW and the prophets; 27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what LAW? of works? Nay: but by the LAW of faith. 28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the LAW. 31 Do we then make void the LAW through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the LAW. --MORE-- |
