DEUTERONOMY 32 46 And he said unto them, Set your hearts unto all the words which I testify among you this day, which ye shall command your children to observe to do, all the words of this LAW. DEUTERONOMY 33 2 And he said, The LORD came from Sinai, and rose up from Seir unto them; he shined forth from mount Paran, and he came with ten thousands of saints: from his right hand went a fiery LAW for them. 4 Moses commanded us a LAW, even the inheritance of the congregation of Jacob. 10 They shall teach Jacob thy judgments, and Israel thy LAW: they shall put incense before thee, and whole burnt sacrifice upon thine altar. JOSHUA 1 7 Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the LAW, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper withersoever thou goest. 8 This book of the LAW shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. 9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not AFRAID, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. JOSHUA 8 31 As Moses the servant of the LORD commanded the children of Israel, as it is written in the book of the LAW of Moses, an altar of whole stones, over which no man hath lift up any iron: and they offered thereon burnt offerings unto the LORD, and sacrificed peace offerings. 32 And he wrote there upon the stones a copy of the LAW of Moses, which he wrote in the presence of the children of Israel. 34 And afterward he read all the words of the LAW, the blessings and cursings, according to all that is written in the book of the LAW. JOSHUA 9 24 And they answered Joshua, and said, Because it was certainly told thy servants, how that the LORD thy God commanded his servant Moses to give you all the land, and to destroy all the inhabitants of the land from before you, therefore we were sore AFRAID of our lives because of you, and have done this thing. JOSHUA 11 6 And the LORD said unto Joshua, Be not AFRAID because of them: for to morrow about this time will I deliver them up all slain before Israel: thou shalt hough their horses, and burn their chariots with fire. JOSHUA 22 5 But take diligent heed to do the commandment and the LAW, which Moses the servant of the LORD charged you, to love the LORD your God, and to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and to cleave unto him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul. JOSHUA 23 6 Be ye therefore very courageous to keep and to do all that is written in the book of the LAW of Moses, that ye turn not aside therefrom to the right hand or to the left; JOSHUA 24 26 And Joshua wrote these words in the book of the LAW of God, and took a great stone, and set it up there under an oak, that was by the sanctuary of the LORD. JUDGES 1 16 And the children of the Kenite, Moses' father in LAW, went up out of the city of palm trees with the children of Judah into the wilderness of Judah, which lieth in the south of Arad; and they went and dwelt among the people. JUDGES 4 11 Now Heber the Kenite, which was of the children of Hobab the father in LAW of Moses, had severed himself from the Kenites, and pitched his tent unto the plain of Zaanaim, which is by Kedesh. JUDGES 7 3 Now therefore go to, proclaim in the ears of the people, saying, Whosoever is fearful and AFRAID, let him return and depart early from mount Gilead. And there returned of the people twenty and two thousand; and there remained ten thousand. JUDGES 15 6 Then the Philistines said, Who hath done this? And they answered, Samson, the son in LAW of the Timnite, because he had taken his wife, and given her to his companion. And the Philistines came up, and burnt her and her father with fire. JUDGES 19 4 And his father in LAW, the damsel's father, retained him; and he abode with him three days: so they did eat and drink, and lodged there. 5 And it came to pass on the fourth day, when they arose early in the morning, that he rose up to depart: and the damsel's father said unto his son in LAW, Comfort thine heart with a morsel of bread, and afterward go your way. 7 And when the man rose up to depart, his father in LAW urged him: therefore he lodged there again. 9 And when the man rose up to depart, he, and his concubine, and his servant, his father in LAW, the damsel's father, said unto him, Behold, now the day draweth toward evening, I pray you tarry all night: behold, the day groweth to an end, lodge here, that thine heart may be merry; and to morrow get you early on your way, that thou mayest go home. RUTH 1 6 Then she arose with her daughters in LAW, that she might return from the country of Moab: for she had heard in the country of Moab how that the LORD had visited his people in giving them bread. 7 Wherefore she went forth out of the place where she was, and her two daughters in LAW with her; and they went on the way to return unto the land of Judah. 8 And Naomi said unto her two daughters in LAW, Go, return each to her mother's house: the LORD deal kindly with you, as ye have dealt with the dead, and with me. 14 And they lifted up their voice, and wept again: and Orpah kissed her mother in LAW; but Ruth clave unto her. 15 And she said, Behold, thy sister in LAW is gone back unto her people, and unto her gods: return thou after thy sister in LAW. 22 So Naomi returned, and Ruth the Moabitess, her daughter in LAW, with her, which returned out of the country of Moab: and they came to Bethlehem in the beginning of barley harvest. RUTH 2 11 And Boaz answered and said unto her, It hath fully been shewed me, all that thou hast done unto thy mother in LAW since the death of thine husband: and how thou hast left thy father and thy mother, and the land of thy nativity, and art come unto a people which thou knewest not heretofore. 18 And she took it up, and went into the city: and her mother in LAW saw what she had gleaned: and she brought forth, and gave to her that she had reserved after she was sufficed. 19 And her mother in LAW said unto her, Where hast thou gleaned to day? and where wroughtest thou? blessed be he that did take knowledge of thee. And she shewed her mother in LAW with whom she had wrought, and said, The man's name with whom I wrought to day is Boaz. 20 And Naomi said unto her daughter in LAW, Blessed be he of the LORD, who hath not left off his kindness to the living and to the dead. And Naomi said unto her, The man is near of kin unto us, one of our next kinsmen. 22 And Naomi said unto Ruth her daughter in LAW, It is good, my daughter, that thou go out with his maidens, that they meet thee not in any other field. 23 So she kept fast by the maidens of Boaz to glean unto the end of barley harvest and of wheat harvest; and dwelt with her mother in LAW. RUTH 3 1 Then Naomi her mother in LAW said unto her, My daughter, shall I not seek rest for thee, that it may be well with thee? 6 And she went down unto the floor, and did according to all that her mother in LAW bade her. 8 And it came to pass at midnight, that the man was AFRAID, and turned himself: and, behold, a woman lay at his feet. 16 And when she came to her mother in LAW, she said, Who art thou, my daughter? And she told her all that the man had done to her. 17 And she said, These six measures of barley gave he me; for he said to me, Go not empty unto thy mother in LAW. RUTH 4 15 And he shall be unto thee a restorer of thy life, and a nourisher of thine old age: for thy daughter in LAW, which loveth thee, which is better to thee than seven sons, hath born him. 1 SAMUEL 4 7 And the Philistines were AFRAID, for they said, God is come into the camp. And they said, Woe unto us! for there hath not been such a thing heretofore. 19 And his daughter in LAW, Phinehas' wife, was with child, near to be delivered: and when she heard the tidings that the ark of God was taken, and that her father in LAW and her husband were dead, she bowed herself and travailed; for her pains came upon her. 21 And she named the child Ichabod, saying, The glory is departed from Israel: because the ark of God was taken, and because of her father in LAW and her husband. 1 SAMUEL 7 7 And when the Philistines heard that the children of Israel were gathered together to Mizpeh, the lords of the Philistines went up against Israel. And when the children of Israel heard it, they were AFRAID of the Philistines. 1 SAMUEL 17 11 When Saul and all Israel heard those words of the Philistine, they were dismayed, and greatly AFRAID. 24 And all the men of Israel, when they saw the man, fled from him, and were sore AFRAID. 1 SAMUEL 18 12 And Saul was AFRAID of David, because the LORD was with him, and was departed from Saul. 15 Wherefore when Saul saw that he behaved himself very wisely, he was AFRAID of him. 18 And David said unto Saul, Who am I? and what is my life, or my father's family in Israel, that I should be son in LAW to the king? 21 And Saul said, I will give him her, that she may be a snare to him, and that the hand of the Philistines may be against him. Wherefore Saul said to David, Thou shalt this day be my son in LAW in the one of the twain. 22 And Saul commanded his servants, saying, Commune with David secretly, and say, Behold, the king hath delight in thee, and all his servants love thee: now therefore be the king's son in LAW. 23 And Saul's servants spake those words in the ears of David. And David said, Seemeth it to you a light thing to be a king's son in LAW, seeing that I am a poor man, and lightly esteemed? 26 And when his servants told David these words, it pleased David well to be the king's son in LAW: and the days were not expired. 27 Wherefore David arose and went, he and his men, and slew of the Philistines two hundred men; and David brought their foreskins, and they gave them in full tale to the king, that he might be the king's son in LAW. And Saul gave him Michal his daughter to wife. 29 And Saul was yet the more AFRAID of David; and Saul became David's enemy continually. --MORE-- |
