JEREMIAH 4 9 And it shall come to pass at that day, saith the LORD, that the heart of the king shall perish, and the heart of the princes; and the PRIESTS shall be astonished, and the prophets shall wonder. JEREMIAH 5 31 The prophets prophesy falsely, and the PRIESTS bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof? JEREMIAH 46 27 But fear not thou, O my servant Jacob, and be not dismayed, O Israel: for, behold, I will save thee from afar off, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and be in rest and at ease, and none shall make him AFRAID. JEREMIAH 48 7 For because thou hast trusted in thy works and in thy treasures, thou shalt also be taken: and Chemosh shall go forth into captivity with his PRIESTS and his princes together. JEREMIAH 49 3 Howl, O Heshbon, for Ai is spoiled: cry, ye daughters of Rabbah, gird you with sackcloth; lament, and run to and fro by the hedges; for their king shall go into captivity, and his PRIESTS and his princes together. LAMENTATIONS 1 4 The ways of Zion do mourn, because none come to the solemn feasts: all her gates are desolate: her PRIESTS sigh, her virgins are afflicted, and she is in bitterness. 19 I called for my lovers, but they deceived me: my PRIESTS and mine elders gave up the ghost in the city, while they sought their meat to relieve their souls. LAMENTATIONS 4 13 For the sins of her prophets, and the iniquities of her PRIESTS, that have shed the blood of the just in the midst of her, 16 The anger of the LORD hath divided them; he will no more regard them: they respected not the persons of the PRIESTS, they favoured not the elders. EZEKIEL 2 6 And thou, son of man, be not AFRAID of them, neither be AFRAID of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not AFRAID of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house. EZEKIEL 22 26 Her PRIESTS have violated my law, and have profaned mine holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they shewed difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am profaned among them. EZEKIEL 30 9 In that day shall messengers go forth from me in ships to make the careless Ethiopians AFRAID, and great pain shall come upon them, as in the day of Egypt: for, lo, it cometh. EZEKIEL 42 13 Then said he unto me, The north chambers and the south chambers, which are before the separate place, they be holy chambers, where the PRIESTS that approach unto the LORD shall eat the most holy things: there shall they lay the most holy things, and the meat offering, and the sin offering, and the trespass offering; for the place is holy. 14 When the PRIESTS enter therein, then shall they not go out of the holy place into the utter court, but there they shall lay their garments wherein they minister; for they are holy; and shall put on other garments, and shall approach to those things which are for the people. EZEKIEL 43 19 And thou shalt give to the PRIESTS the Levites that be of the seed of Zadok, which approach unto me, to minister unto me, saith the Lord GOD, a young bullock for a sin offering. 24 And thou shalt offer them before the LORD, and the PRIESTS shall cast salt upon them, and they shall offer them up for a burnt offering unto the LORD. 27 And when these days are expired, it shall be, that upon the eighth day, and so forward, the PRIESTS shall make your burnt offerings upon the altar, and your peace offerings; and I will accept you, saith the Lord GOD. --MORE-- |
