MARK 15 1 And straightway in the morning the chief PRIESTS held a consultation with the elders and scribes and the whole council, and bound Jesus, and carried him away, and delivered him to Pilate. 3 And the chief PRIESTS accused him of many things: but he answered nothing. 10 For he knew that the chief PRIESTS had delivered him for envy. 11 But the chief PRIESTS moved the people, that he should rather release Barabbas unto them. 31 Likewise also the chief PRIESTS mocking said among themselves with the scribes, He saved others; himself he cannot save. MARK 16 8 And they went out quickly, and fled from the sepulchre; for they trembled and were amazed: neither said they any thing to any man; for they were AFRAID. LUKE 2 9 And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore AFRAID. LUKE 3 2 Annas and Caiaphas being the high PRIESTS, the word of God came unto John the son of Zacharias in the wilderness. LUKE 9 22 Saying, The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders and chief PRIESTS and scribes, and be slain, and be raised the third day. LUKE 12 4 And I say unto you my friends, Be not AFRAID of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. LUKE 17 14 And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the PRIESTS. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed. LUKE 19 47 And he taught daily in the temple. But the chief PRIESTS and the scribes and the chief of the people sought to destroy him, LUKE 20 1 And it came to pass, that on one of those days, as he taught the people in the temple, and preached the gospel, the chief PRIESTS and the scribes came upon him with the elders, 19 And the chief PRIESTS and the scribes the same hour sought to lay hands on him; and they feared the people: for they perceived that he had spoken this parable against them. --MORE-- |
