But the chief PRIESTS and the scribes and the chief of the people sought to destroy him, LUKE 20 1 And it came to pass, that on one of those days, as he taught the people in the temple, and preached the gospel, the chief PRIESTS and the scribes came upon him with the elders, 19 And the chief PRIESTS and the scribes the same hour sought to lay hands on him; and they feared the people: for they perceived that he had spoken this parable against them. LUKE 22 2 And the chief PRIESTS and scribes sought how they might kill him; for they feared the people. 4 And he went his way, and communed with the chief PRIESTS and captains, how he might betray him unto them. 52 Then Jesus said unto the chief PRIESTS, and captains of the temple, and the elders, which were come to him, Be ye come out, as against a thief, with swords and staves? 66 And as soon as it was day, the elders of the people and the chief PRIESTS and the scribes came together, and led him into their council, saying, LUKE 23 4 Then said Pilate to the chief PRIESTS and to the people, I find no fault in this man. 10 And the chief PRIESTS and scribes stood and vehemently accused him. 13 And Pilate, when he had called together the chief PRIESTS and the rulers and the people, 23 And they were instant with loud voices, requiring that he might be crucified. Pilate saith unto them, Take ye him, and crucify him: for I find no fault in him. 8 When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he was the more AFRAID; 15 But they cried out, Away with him, away with him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Shall I crucify your King?
