The chief PRIESTS answered, We have no king but Caesar. 21 Then said the chief PRIESTS of the Jews to Pilate, Write not, The King of the Jews; but that he said, I am King of the Jews. ACTS 4 1 And as they spake unto the people, the PRIESTS, and the captain of the temple, and the Sadducees, came upon them, 23 And being let go, they went to their own company, and reported all that the chief PRIESTS and elders had said unto them. ACTS 5 24 Now when the high priest and the captain of the temple and the chief PRIESTS heard these things, they doubted of them whereunto this would grow. ACTS 23 14 And they came to the chief PRIESTS and elders, and said, We have bound ourselves under a great curse, that we will eat nothing until we have slain Paul. ACTS 25 15 About whom, when I was at Jerusalem, the chief PRIESTS and the elders of the Jews informed me, desiring to have judgment against him. ACTS 26 10 Which thing I also did in Jerusalem: and many of the saints did I shut up in prison, having received authority from the chief PRIESTS; and when they were put to death, I gave my voice against them. 12 Whereupon as I went to Damascus with authority and commission from the chief PRIESTS, ROMANS 13 3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be AFRAID of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: 4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be AFRAID; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.
