ZEPHANIAH 3 13 The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity, nor speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth: for they shall feed and lie down, and none shall make them AFRAID. MALACHI 2 5 My covenant was with him of life and peace; and I gave them to him for the fear wherewith he feared me, and was AFRAID before my name. MATTHEW 1 16 And Jacob begat Joseph the HUSBAND of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ. 19 Then Joseph her HUSBAND, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily. MATTHEW 2 22 But when he heard that Archelaus did reign in Judaea in the room of his father Herod, he was AFRAID to go thither: notwithstanding, being warned of God in a dream, he turned aside into the parts of Galilee: MATTHEW 14 27 But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not AFRAID. 30 But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was AFRAID; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. MATTHEW 17 6 And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore AFRAID. 7 And Jesus came and touched them, and said, Arise, and be not AFRAID. MATTHEW 25 25 And I was AFRAID, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine. MATTHEW 28 10 Then said Jesus unto them, Be not AFRAID: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me. MARK 5 15 And they come to Jesus, and see him that was possessed with the devil, and had the legion, sitting, and clothed, and in his right mind: and they were AFRAID. 36 As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not AFRAID, only believe. MARK 6 50 For they all saw him, and were troubled. And immediately he talked with them, and saith unto them, Be of good cheer: it is I; be not AFRAID. MARK 9 6 For he wist not what to say; for they were sore AFRAID. 32 But they understood not that saying, and were AFRAID to ask him. MARK 10 12 And if a woman shall put away her HUSBAND, and be married to another, she committeth adultery. 32 And they were in the way going up to Jerusalem; and Jesus went before them: and they were amazed; and as they followed, they were AFRAID. And he took again the twelve, and began to tell them what things should happen unto him, MARK 16 8 And they went out quickly, and fled from the sepulchre; for they trembled and were amazed: neither said they any thing to any man; for they were AFRAID. LUKE 2 9 And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore AFRAID. 36 And there was one Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Aser: she was of a great age, and had lived with an HUSBAND seven years from her virginity; LUKE 8 25 And he said unto them, Where is your faith? And they being AFRAID wondered, saying one to another, What manner of man is this! for he commandeth even the winds and water, and they obey him. 35 Then they went out to see what was done; and came to Jesus, and found the man, out of whom the devils were departed, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed, and in his right mind: and they were AFRAID. LUKE 12 4 And I say unto you my friends, Be not AFRAID of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. LUKE 16 18 Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from her HUSBAND committeth adultery. LUKE 24 5 And as they were AFRAID, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead? JOHN 4 16 Jesus saith unto her, Go, call thy HUSBAND, and come hither. 17 The woman answered and said, I have no HUSBAND. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no HUSBAND: 18 For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy HUSBAND: in that saidst thou truly. JOHN 6 19 So when they had rowed about five and twenty or thirty furlongs, they see Jesus walking on the sea, and drawing nigh unto the ship: and they were AFRAID. 20 But he saith unto them, It is I; be not AFRAID. JOHN 14 27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be AFRAID. JOHN 19 8 When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he was the more AFRAID; ACTS 5 9 Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy HUSBAND are at the door, and shall carry thee out. 10 Then fell she down straightway at his feet, and yielded up the ghost: and the young men came in, and found her dead, and, carrying her forth, buried her by her HUSBAND. ACTS 9 26 And when Saul was come to Jerusalem, he assayed to join himself to the disciples: but they were all AFRAID of him, and believed not that he was a disciple. ACTS 10 4 And when he looked on him, he was AFRAID, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God. ACTS 18 9 Then spake the Lord to Paul in the night by a vision, Be not AFRAID, but speak, and hold not thy peace: ACTS 22 9 And they that were with me saw indeed the light, and were AFRAID; but they heard not the voice of him that spake to me. 29 Then straightway they departed from him which should have examined him: and the chief captain also was AFRAID, after he knew that he was a Roman, and because he had bound him. ROMANS 7 2 For the woman which hath an HUSBAND is bound by the law to her HUSBAND so long as he liveth; but if the HUSBAND be dead, she is loosed from the law of her HUSBAND. 3 So then if, while her HUSBAND liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her HUSBAND be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man. ROMANS 13 3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be AFRAID of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: 4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be AFRAID; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. 1 CORINTHIANS 7 2 Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own HUSBAND. 3 Let the HUSBAND render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the HUSBAND. 4 The wife hath not power of her own body, but the HUSBAND: and likewise also the HUSBAND hath not power of his own body, but the wife. 10 And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her HUSBAND: 11 But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried or be reconciled to her HUSBAND: and let not the HUSBAND put away his wife. 13 And the woman which hath an HUSBAND that believeth not, and if he be pleased to dwell with her, let her not leave him. 14 For the unbelieving HUSBAND is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the HUSBAND: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy. 16 For what knowest thou, O wife, whether thou shalt save thy HUSBAND? or how knowest thou, O man, whether thou shalt save thy wife? 34 There is difference also between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman careth for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit: but she that is married careth for the things of the world, how she may please her HUSBAND. 39 The wife is bound by the law as long as her HUSBAND liveth; but if her HUSBAND be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord. --MORE-- |
