COLOSSIANS 3 9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with HIS deeds; COLOSSIANS 4 15 Salute the brethren which are in Laodicea, and Nymphas, and the church which is in HIS house. 1 THESSALONIANS 1 10 And to wait for HIS Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come. 1 THESSALONIANS 2 11 As ye know how we exhorted and comforted and charged every one of you, as a father doth HIS children, 12 That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto HIS kingdom and glory. 19 For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at HIS coming? 1 THESSALONIANS 3 13 To the end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all HIS saints. 1 THESSALONIANS 4 4 That every one of you should know how to possess HIS vessel in sanctification and honour; 6 That no man go beyond and defraud HIS brother in any matter: because that the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified. 8 He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto us HIS holy Spirit. 2 THESSALONIANS 1 7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with HIS mighty angels, 9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of HIS power; 10 When he shall come to be glorified in HIS saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day. 11 Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of HIS goodness, and the work of faith with power: 2 THESSALONIANS 2 6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in HIS time. 8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of HIS mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of HIS coming: 1 TIMOTHY 3 4 One that ruleth well HIS own house, having HIS children in subjection with all gravity; 5 (For if a man know not how to rule HIS own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?) 1 TIMOTHY 5 8 But if any provide not for HIS own, and specially for those of HIS own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel. 18 For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of HIS reward. 1 TIMOTHY 6 1 Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honour, that the name of God and HIS doctrine be not blasphemed. 15 Which in HIS times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords; 2 TIMOTHY 1 8 Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me HIS prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God; 9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to HIS own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, 2 TIMOTHY 2 19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are HIS. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. 26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at HIS will. 2 TIMOTHY 4 1 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at HIS appearing and HIS kingdom; 8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love HIS appearing. 14 Alexander the coppersmith did me much evil: the Lord reward him according to HIS works: 18 And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto HIS heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. TITUS 1 3 But hath in due times manifested HIS word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment of God our Saviour; TITUS 3 5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to HIS mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; 7 That being justified by HIS grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. HEBREWS 1 2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by HIS Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; 3 Who being the brightness of HIS glory, and the express image of HIS person, and upholding all things by the word of HIS power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high: 7 And of the angels he saith, Who maketh HIS angels spirits, and HIS ministers a flame of fire. HEBREWS 2 4 God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to HIS own will? 8 Thou hast put all things in subjection under HIS feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him. 17 Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto HIS brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. HEBREWS 3 2 Who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses was faithful in all HIS house. 5 And Moses verily was faithful in all HIS house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after; 6 But Christ as a son over HIS own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end. 7 Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear HIS voice, 15 While it is said, To day if ye will hear HIS voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation. 18 And to whom sware he that they should not enter into HIS rest, but to them that believed not? HEBREWS 4 1 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into HIS rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. 4 For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all HIS works. 7 Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear HIS voice, harden not your hearts. 10 For he that is entered into HIS rest, he also hath ceased from HIS own works, as God did from HIS. 13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in HIS sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do. --MORE-- |
