2 CHRONICLES 7 1 Now when Solomon had made AN end of praying, the fire came down from heaven, and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the LORD filled the house. 5 And king Solomon offered a sacrifice of twenty and two thousand oxen, and AN hundred and twenty thousand sheep: so the king and all the people dedicated the house of God. 12 And the LORD appeared to Solomon by night, and said unto him, I have heard thy prayer, and have chosen this place to myself for AN house of sacrifice. 21 And this house, which is high, shall be AN astonishment to every one that passeth by it; so that he shall say, Why hath the LORD done thus unto this land, and unto this house? 2 CHRONICLES 9 9 And she gave the king AN hundred and twenty talents of gold, and of spices great abundance, and precious stones: neither was there any such spice as the queen of Sheba gave king Solomon. 2 CHRONICLES 11 1 And when Rehoboam was come to Jerusalem, he gathered of the house of Judah and Benjamin AN hundred and fourscore thousand chosen men, which were warriors, to fight against Israel, that he might bring the kingdom again to Rehoboam. 2 CHRONICLES 12 13 So king Rehoboam strengthened himself in Jerusalem, and reigned: for Rehoboam was one and forty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned seventeen years in Jerusalem, the city which the LORD had chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, to put his name there. So much did the children of Ammon pay unto him, both the second year, and the third. 2 CHRONICLES 28 6 For Pekah the son of Remaliah slew in Judah AN hundred and twenty thousand in one day, which were all valiant men; because they had forsaken the LORD God of their fathers. 2 CHRONICLES 29 17 Now they began on the first day of the first month to sanctify, and on the eighth day of the month came they to the porch of the LORD: so they sanctified the house of the LORD in eight days; and in the sixteenth day of the first month they made AN end. 24 And the priests killed them, and they made reconciliation with their blood upon the altar, to make AN atonement for all Israel: for the king commanded that the burnt offering and the sin offering should be made for all Israel. 29 And when they had made AN end of offering, the king and all that were present with him bowed themselves, and worshipped. 32 And the number of the burnt offerings, which the congregation brought, was threescore and ten bullocks, AN hundred rams, and two hundred lambs: all these were for a burnt offering to the LORD. 2 CHRONICLES 32 8 With him is AN arm of flesh; but with us is the LORD our God to help us, and to fight our battles. And the people rested themselves upon the words of Hezekiah king of Judah. 21 And the LORD sent AN angel, which cut off all the mighty men of valour, and the leaders and captains in the camp of the king of Assyria. So he returned with shame of face to his own land. And when he was come into the house of his god, they that came forth of his own bowels slew him there with the sword. 2 CHRONICLES 35 25 And Jeremiah lamented for Josiah: and all the singing men and the singing women spake of Josiah in their lamentations to this day, and made them AN ordinance in Israel: and, behold, they are written in the lamentations. 2 CHRONICLES 36 3 And the king of Egypt put him down at Jerusalem, and condemned the land in AN hundred talents of silver and a talent of gold. 23 Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, All the kingdoms of the earth hath the LORD God of heaven given me; and he hath charged me to build him AN house in Jerusalem, which is in Judah. EZRA 4 3 But Zerubbabel, and Jeshua, and the rest of the chief of the fathers of Israel, said unto them, Ye have nothing to do with us to build AN house unto our God; but we ourselves together will build unto the LORD God of Israel, as king Cyrus the king of Persia hath commanded us. 6 And in the reign of Ahasuerus, in the beginning of his reign, wrote they unto him AN accusation against the inhabitants of Judah and Jerusalem. 17 Then sent the king AN answer unto Rehum the chancellor, and to Shimshai the scribe, and to the rest of their companions that dwell in Samaria, and unto the rest beyond the river, Peace, and at such a time. EZRA 6 17 And offered at the dedication of this house of God AN hundred bullocks, two hundred rams, four hundred lambs; and for a sin offering for all Israel, twelve he goats, according to the number of the tribes of Israel.
