DANIEL 2 46 Then the king Nebuchadnezzar fell upon his face, and worshipped Daniel, and commanded that they should offer AN oblation and sweet odours unto him. DANIEL 3 1 Nebuchadnezzar the king made AN image of gold, whose height was threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof six cubits: he set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon. 4 Then AN herald cried aloud, To you it is commanded, O people, nations, and languages, 27 And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king's counsellors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was AN hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them. DANIEL 4 3 How great are his signs! and how mighty are his wonders! his kingdom is AN everlasting kingdom, and his dominion is from generation to generation. 13 I saw in the visions of my head upon my bed, and, behold, a watcher and AN holy one came down from heaven; 23 And whereas the king saw a watcher and AN holy one coming down from heaven, and saying, Hew the tree down, and destroy it; yet leave the stump of the roots thereof in the earth, even with a band of iron and brass, in the tender grass of the field; and let it be wet with the dew of heaven, and let his portion be with the beasts of the field, till seven times pass over him; 34 And at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, and mine understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the most High, and I praised and honoured him that liveth for ever, whose dominion is AN everlasting dominion, and his kingdom is from generation to generation: DANIEL 5 12 Forasmuch as AN excellent spirit, and knowledge, and understanding, interpreting of dreams, and shewing of hard sentences, and dissolving of doubts, were found in the same Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar: now let Daniel be called, and he will shew the interpretation. DANIEL 6 1 It pleased Darius to set over the kingdom AN hundred and twenty princes, which should be over the whole kingdom; 3 Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because AN excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm. DANIEL 7 14 And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is AN everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed. 27 And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is AN everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him. DANIEL 8 5 And as I was considering, behold, AN he goat came from the west on the face of the whole earth, and touched not the ground: and the goat had a notable horn between his eyes. 12 And AN host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered. DANIEL 9 24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make AN end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. DANIEL 10 10 And, behold, AN hand touched me, which set me upon my knees and upon the palms of my hands. DANIEL 11 6 And in the end of years they shall join themselves together; for the king's daughter of the south shall come to the king of the north to make AN agreement: but she shall not retain the power of the arm; neither shall he stand, nor his arm: but she shall be given up, and they that brought her, and he that begat her, and he that strengthened her in these times. 7 But out of a branch of her roots shall one stand up in his estate, which shall come with AN army, and shall enter into the FORTRESS of the king of the north, and shall deal against them, and shall prevail: 10 But his sons shall be stirred up, and shall assemble a multitude of great forces: and one shall certainly come, and overflow, and pass through: then shall he return, and be stirred up, even to his FORTRESS. DANIEL 12 7 And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and AN half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished. HOSEA 3 1 Then said the LORD unto me, Go yet, love a woman beloved of her friend, yet AN adulteress, according to the love of the LORD toward the children of Israel, who look to other gods, and love flagons of wine. 2 So I bought her to me for fifteen pieces of silver, and for AN homer of barley, and AN half homer of barley: 4 For the children of Israel shall abide many days without a king, and without a prince, and without a sacrifice, and without AN image, and without AN ephod, and without teraphim: HOSEA 6 10 I have seen AN horrible thing in the house of Israel: there is the whoredom of Ephraim, Israel is defiled. 11 Also, O Judah, he hath set AN harvest for thee, when I returned the captivity of my people. HOSEA 7 4 They are all adulterers, as AN oven heated by the baker, who ceaseth from raising after he hath kneaded the dough, until it be leavened. 6 For they have made ready their heart like AN oven, whiles they lie in wait: their baker sleepeth all the night; in the morning it burneth as a flaming fire. 7 They are all hot as AN oven, and have devoured their judges; all their kings are fallen: there is none among them that calleth unto me. HOSEA 8 1 Set the trumpet to thy mouth. He shall come as AN eagle against the house of the LORD, because they have transgressed my covenant, and trespassed against my law. HOSEA 10 1 Israel is AN empty vine, he bringeth forth fruit unto himself: according to the multitude of his fruit he hath increased the altars; according to the goodness of his land they have made goodly images. 11 And Ephraim is as AN heifer that is taught, and loveth to tread out the corn; but I passed over upon her fair neck: I will make Ephraim to ride; Judah shall plow, and Jacob shall break his clods. HOSEA 13 13 The sorrows of a travailing woman shall come upon him: he is AN unwise son; for he should not stay long in the place of the breaking forth of children. 15 Though he be fruitful among his brethren, AN east wind shall come, the wind of the LORD shall come up from the wilderness, and his spring shall become dry, and his fountain shall be dried up: he shall spoil the treasure of all pleasant vessels. JOEL 2 1 Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound AN alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand; JOEL 3 3 And they have cast lots for my people; and have given a boy for AN harlot, and sold a girl for wine, that they might drink. AMOS 3 11 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; AN adversary there shall be even round about the land; and he shall bring down thy strength from thee, and thy palaces shall be spoiled. 12 Thus saith the LORD; As the shepherd taketh out of the mouth of the lion two legs, or a piece of AN ear; so shall the children of Israel be taken out that dwell in Samaria in the corner of a bed, and in Damascus in a couch. 15 And I will smite the winter house with the summer house; and the houses of ivory shall perish, and the great houses shall have AN end, saith the LORD. AMOS 5 3 For thus saith the Lord GOD; The city that went out by a thousand shall leave AN hundred, and that which went forth by AN hundred shall leave ten, to the house of Israel. 9 That strengtheneth the spoiled against the strong, so that the spoiled shall come against the FORTRESS. 13 Therefore the prudent shall keep silence in that time; for it is AN evil time. AMOS 7 2 And it came to pass, that when they had made AN end of eating the grass of the land, then I said, O Lord GOD, forgive, I beseech thee: by whom shall Jacob arise? for he is small. 14 Then answered Amos, and said to Amaziah, I was no prophet, neither was I a prophet's son; but I was AN herdman, and a gatherer of sycomore fruit: 17 Therefore thus saith the LORD; Thy wife shall be AN harlot in the city, and thy sons and thy daughters shall fall by the sword, and thy land shall be divided by line; and thou shalt die in a polluted land: and Israel shall surely go into captivity forth of his land. AMOS 8 10 And I will turn your feasts into mourning, and all your songs into lamentation; and I will bring up sackcloth upon all loins, and baldness upon every head; and I will make it as the mourning of AN only son, and the end thereof as a bitter day. OBADIAH 1 1 The vision of Obadiah. Thus saith the Lord GOD concerning Edom; We have heard a rumour from the LORD, and AN ambassador is sent among the heathen, Arise ye, and let us rise up against her in battle. JONAH 1 9 And he said unto them, I am AN Hebrew; and I fear the LORD, the God of heaven, which hath made the sea and the dry land. JONAH 3 3 So Jonah arose, and went unto Nineveh, according to the word of the LORD. Now Nineveh was AN exceeding great city of three days' journey. MICAH 1 6 Therefore I will make Samaria as AN heap of the field, and as plantings of a vineyard: and I will pour down the stones thereof into the valley, and I will discover the foundations thereof. 7 And all the graven images thereof shall be beaten to pieces, and all the hires thereof shall be burned with the fire, and all the idols thereof will I lay desolate: for she gathered it of the hire of AN harlot, and they shall return to the hire of AN harlot. 15 Yet will I bring AN heir unto thee, O inhabitant of Mareshah: he shall come unto Adullam the glory of Israel. --MORE-- |
